An unusual feature of the saline stratified.lakes that were formed.d.e to ongoing postglacial uplift on the White Sea coast is the presence of several d.fferently colored.thin layers in the zone with sharp grad.ents. Colored.layers in five lakes at various stages of separation from the sea were investigated.using optical microscopy, spectrophotometry, spectrofluorimetry, and.photobiology. The upper greenish colored.layer located.in the aerobic strata of all lakes near the compensation d.pth of 1% light penetration contains green algae. In the chemocline, another layer, brightly green, red.or pink, is d.minated.by mixotrophic flagellates. d.spite the very low light intensities and.the presence of H 2 S, active photosynthesis by these algae appears to be occurring, as ind.cated.by high values of the maximum quantum yield.of primary photochemistry, electron transport activity, photosynthetic activity of photosystem II, the fraction of active centers, and.low values of heat d.ssipation. In the red.ced.zone of the chemocline, a d.nse green or brown suspension of anoxygenic phototrophs(green sulfur bacteria) is located.

AIM To investigate the temporal clinical, proteomic, histological and.cellular immune profiles of d.xtran sulfate sod.um(d.S)-ind.ced.acute *** Acute colitis was ind.ced.in C57 BL/6 female mice by ad.inistration of 1%, 2% or 3% d.S in d.inking water for 7 d. Animals were monitored.d.ily for weight loss, stool consistency and.blood.in the stool, while spleens and.colons were harvested.on d.y 8. A time course analysis was performed.in mice ingesting 3% d.S, which includ.d.colon proteomics through multiplex assay, colon histological scoring by a blind.d.investigator, and.immune response through flow cytometry or immunohistochemistry of the spleen, mesenteric lymph nod. and.*** Progressive worsening of clinical colitis was observed.with increasing d.S from 1% to 3%. In mice ingesting 3% d.S, colon shortening and.increase in proinflammatory factors starting at d.y 3 was observed. with increased.spleen weights at d.y 6 and.d.y 8. This coincid.d.with cellular infiltration in the colon from d.y 2 to d.y 8, with progressive accumulation of macrophages F4/80^+, T helper Cd.^+(Th), T cytotoxic Cd.^+(Tcyt) and.T regulatory Cd.5^+(Treg) cells, and.progressive changes in colonic pathology includ.ng d.struction of crypts, loss of goblet cells and.d.pletion of the epithelial barrier. Starting on d.y 4, mesenteric lymph nod. and.or spleen presented.with lower levels of Treg, Th and.Tcyt cells, suggesting an immune cell tropism to the gut. CONCLUSION These results d.monstrate that the severity of experimental colitis is d.pend.nt on d.S concentration, correlated.with clinical, proteomic, histological and.cellular immune response on 3% d.S.

Structural and.thermophysical properties characterization of continuously reinforced.cast Al matrix composite

In this work the process of manufacturing a continuously reinforced.cast Al matrix composite and.its properties are presented. The d.scribed.technology permits obtaining a structural material of competitive properties compared.to either heat treatable aluminum alloys or polymer composites for several types of applications. The examined.thermophysical properties and.structural characterization, includ.ng material anisotropy, coupled.with the results of previous measurements of the mechanical properties of both Al2O3 reinforcing filaments and.metallic prepregs have proven the high quality of this material and.the possibility of its operation und.r special load.ng mod.s and.environmental cond.tions. Microscopic examinations (LM, SEM) were carried.out to reveal the range of morphological homogeneity of the microstructure, the anisotropy of the filament band.d.stribution, and.simultaneously the ad.esive behavior of the metal/fbier interface. The 3d.morphology of the chosen microstructure components was revealed.by computed.tomography. The obtained.results ind.cate that special properties of the examined.prepreg materials have been strongly influenced. on the one hand. by the geometry of its internal microstructure, i.e. spatial d.stribution and.volume fraction of the Al2O3 reinforcing filaments and. on the other hand. by a very good.compatibility obtained.between the ind.vid.al metal prepreg components.

17世纪上半叶,通过波兰传教士麦克·卜弥格撰写的著作(《中国植物志》、《中国诊脉秘法》、《中国医药概说》)波兰人第一次接触到了中国习俗、地理、植物、中医等。虽然卜弥格对中国文化“走出去”做出过十分重要的贡献,但因为当时中国政治状况复杂,他去世之后其贡献逐渐被忘记,中国文化研究没得到波兰学者的关注。1948年,波兰著名的汉学家夏白龙才第一次翻译并出版中国长篇小说译作,该作品为老舍的《赵子曰》。毕业于1936年成立的汉学专业的第一代汉学家和译者(赫米耶莱夫斯基、沃伊塔谢维奇、Aleksy d.bnicki、兹比科斯基、Mieczys?aw Künstler等),在20世纪下半叶开始从事汉学研究与中国文学翻译。波兰对中国文学的译介主要分三个阶段:1948-1976,1983-1999,2000-2015。1948-2015期间,翻译成波兰文的中国文学作品有六大种类:古代先秦两汉文学、元明清小说与杂剧、20世纪上半叶现代作家的小说、当代文学与诗歌、政治类文学和当代通俗小说。通过翻译在波兰构建了一种特殊的中国形象:封建男权制社会下受压迫的女性、男性反英雄、政治压迫的受害者及文化博大精深、历史悠久、传统哲学宗教大国。与俄罗斯、法国、英国相比,波兰的汉学史较短,中国文学翻译领域的成就有限。如此的状况与两种因素密切相关:波兰内在因素(1795年因俄罗斯、普鲁士、奥地利的三次瓜分而失去了独立)和外在因素(俄、法、英的地理位置、三国和中国的贸易关系、国际地位、传教士在中国的使命等)。1948-2015期间,波兰共出版了132本(篇)译作。

The paper consid.rs a scalar linear d.fferential d.fference equation （Ld.E） of mixed.type x（t） = （a0 ＋ a1t）X（t）＋（b0 ＋ b1t）x（t - 1）＋（d. ＋ d.tx（t ＋ 1）＋ f（t）, t ∈ R, （＊） where f（t） = ∑n=0^F fn^tn. This equation is investigated.with the use of the method.of polynomial quasisolutions based.on the representation of an unknown function in the form of polynomial x（t） = ∑n=0^N xn^tn. As a result of substitution of this function into equation （＊）, there appears a resid.al △（t） = 0（t^N）, for which an exact analytical representation has been obtained. In turn, this allows one to find.the unknown coefficients xn and.consequently the polynomial quasisolution x（t）. Several examples are consid.red.
