Electric a.a.oles, a.ising from the destructive interference of primitive a.d toroida. electric dipole moments, ha.e recently emerged a. a.funda.enta. cla.s of non-sca.tering sources. On the other ha.d, super-sca.tering sta.es represent the opposite regime wherein the sca.tering cross-section of a.subwa.elength pa.ticle exceeds the single-cha.nel limit, lea.ing to a.strong sca.tering beha.ior. Here, we demonstra.e tha. the interpla. between the topology of light a.d the subwa.elength sca.terer ca. lea. to these two opposite responses within a. isola.ed a.ldielectric meta.a.om. In pa.ticula., we present the emergence of a.new non-sca.tering sta.e, referred to a. hybrid a.a.ole, which surpa.ses conventiona. electric dipole a.a.oles by a.hieving a.rema.ka.le 23-fold enha.cement in the suppression of fa.-field ra.ia.ion a.d a.most threefold enha.cement in the confinement of electroma.netic energy inside the meta.a.om. We a.so explore the role of pa.ticle orienta.ion a.d its inversion symmetry in the sca.tering response a.d predict the possibility of switching between non-sca.tering a.d super-sca.tering sta.es within the sa.e pla.form. The presented study elucida.es the role of light a.d ma.ter topologies in the sca.tering response of subwa.elength meta.a.oms, uncovering two opposite regimes of light-ma.ter intera.tion a.d opening new a.enues in a.plica.ions such a. nonlinea. optics a.d spectroscopy.

One of the biggest da.gers to society toda. is terrorism, where a.ta.ks ha.e become one of the most significa.trisks to interna.iona. pea.e a.d na.iona. security. Big da.a. informa.ion a.a.ysis, a.d a.tificia. intelligence (a.) ha.ebecome the ba.is for ma.ing stra.egic decisions in ma.y sensitive a.ea., such a. fra.d detection, risk ma.a.ement,medica. dia.nosis, a.d counter-terrorism. However, there is still a.need to a.sess how terrorist a.ta.ks a.e rela.ed,initia.ed, a.d detected. For this purpose, we propose a.novel fra.ework for cla.sifying a.d predicting terrorista.ta.ks. The proposed fra.ework posits tha. neglected text a.tributes included in the Globa. Terrorism Da.a.a.e(GTD) ca. influence the a.cura.y of the model’s cla.sifica.ion of terrorist a.ta.ks, where ea.h pa.t of the da.a.a. provide vita. informa.ion to enrich the a.ility of cla.sifier lea.ning. Ea.h da.a.point in a.multicla.s ta.onomyha. one or more ta.s a.ta.hed to it, referred a. “rela.ed ta.s.” We a.plied ma.hine lea.ning cla.sifiers to cla.sifyterrorist a.ta.k incidents obta.ned from the GTD. a.tra.sformer-ba.ed technique ca.led DistilBERT extra.ts a.dlea.ns contextua. fea.ures from text a.tributes to a.quiremore informa.ion from text da.a. The extra.ted contextua.fea.ures a.e combined with the “key fea.ures” of the da.a.et a.d used to perform the fina. cla.sifica.ion. Thestudy explored different experimenta. setups with va.ious cla.sifiers to eva.ua.e the model’s performa.ce. Theexperimenta. results show tha. the proposed fra.ework outperforms the la.est techniques for cla.sifying terrorista.ta.ks with a. a.cura.y of 98.7% using a.combined fea.ure set a.d extreme gra.ient boosting cla.sifier.
