Critical physicochemical attributes of chitosan nanoparticles admixed lactose-PEG 3000 microparticles in pulmonary inhalation

Chitosan nanoparticles are exhalation prone and agglomerative to pulmonary *** nanoparticles with lactose microparticles(~5 μm) could mutually reduce their agglomeration through surface adsorption phenomenon. The chitosan nanoparticles of varying size, size distribution, zeta potential, crystallinity, shape and surface roughness were prepared by spray drying technique as a function of chitosan, surfactant and processing conditions. Lactose-polyethylene glycol 3000(PEG3000) microparticles were similarly prepared. The chitosan nanoparticles, physically blended with fine lactose-PEG3000 microparticles, exhibited a comparable inhalation performance with the commercial dry powder inhaler products(fine particle fraction between 20% and 30%). Cascade impactor analysis indicated that the aerosolization and inhalation performance of chitosan nanoparticles was promoted by their higher zeta potential and circularity, and larger size attributes of which led to reduced inter-nanoparticulate aggregation and favored nanoparticles interacting with lactose-PEG3000 micropaticles that aided their delivery into deep and peripheral lungs.

在电子商务飞速发展的今天,其过程中暴露出的隐私保护问题也逐渐凸显出来,并正在成为国内外炙手可热的研究课题。当前,电子商务领域消费者隐私信息被公开、个人数据资料未经授权被收集和利用等违法行为屡禁不止。因此维护消费者隐私权益,整顿电子商务行业不良之风已成为十分必要的举措。本文以当下热议的电子商务隐私保护问题为出发点,从平台和用户两方面开展相关研究。首先,本文通过了解中国电子商务平台如何实施数据隐私的七项原则,对比调查了中国六家比较有代表性的电商平台实施的隐私政策、用户协议以及条款与条件(T&C)。总体看来,研究表明这些平台已完全执行了PIPL的全部核心准则,其隐私政策也验证了这些平台全力对用户所共享的信息进行保护。但是仅从隐私政策的研究上无法确定这些平台是否真正根据法律法规要求销毁或者删除用户数据,为此我们开展了第二项研究。第二项研究旨在调查消费者对负面在线隐私体验的反馈,本次研究的样本为中国一所大型高校的486名学生用户。通过对数据进行整理和分析,结果表明,用户隐私泄露的现象说明目前电子商务方面存在很大的用户隐私保护问题,对用户的隐私保护没有遵循平台所声明的隐私政策,或者对于隐私政策没有完全遵守,存在漏洞,出现消费者隐私信息被公开、个人数据资料被未经授权收集等问题。本次研究的目标是调查顾客对于隐私规则的认识。通过研究,我们发现维护消费者隐私权益,整顿电子商务行业不良之风已成为十分必要的举措,加强电子商务中的个人隐私信息保护,对于尊重和保护消费者隐私权,推动电子商务行业的良性发展,进而推动中国社会经济转型有着基础性的重要意义,同时也是广大消费者盼望之所系。通过对现有电子商务隐私保护策略的研究,总结归纳出经验与教训,最终探索一条适合中国电子商务发展的可持续道路。诚然,中国的隐私保护工作尚有很多需要改进的地方。不过我们相信,只要政府、电子商务企业、消费者三者共同努力,电子商务隐私保护问题的解决定将迎来曙光,国内电子商务行业定将走上健康的可持续发展道路。

This paper focuses on female political socialisation in postcolonial Jordan,exploring the role of religion and patriarchy in shaping women’s citizenship identity and the manner in which school civic and national studies curriculum portrays women’s rights and their citizenship *** on the analysis,there are three types of social class citizens,one for the rulers,one for men,and one for ***,the findings suggest that the emphasis in these school textbooks is on loyalty to the monarchy and attachment to the ***’s rights as citizens remain overwhelmed by patriarchy,religion,and by contradictory state policies and laws,partially drawn from the universal principles of ***,this study adds another facet to the understanding of the complex forces which contribute to the formation of contemporary citizenship identity in the nation-state *** states,in particular,are interesting cases due to the impact of their colonial heritage,tradition,and their attempts to advance partial modernisation amenable with universal human rights.

Digital Elevation Models(DEMs)contain topographic relief data that are vital for many geoscience *** study relies on the vertical accuracy of publicly available latest high-resolution(30 m)global DEMs over *** models are(1)the ALOS World 3D-30 m(AW3D30),(2)the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 1 Arc-Second CBand Global DEM(SRTM 1)and(3)the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Global DEM Version 2(ASTER GDEM 2).After matching their coordinate systems and datums,the horizontal positional accuracy evaluation was carried out and it shows that geolocation errors significantly influence the vertical accuracy of global *** this,the three models are compared among them,in order to access random and systematic effects in the elevation data each of them ***,heights from 555 GPS/leveling points distributed all over Cameroon are compared to each DEM,for their vertical accuracy *** and robust statistical measures,normality test,outlier detection and removal were used to describe the vertical quality of the *** test of the normality rejected the hypothesis of normal distribution for all tested global *** vertical accuracies obtained for the three models after georeferencing and gross error removal in terms of Root Mean Square(RMS)and normalized Median Absolute Deviation(nMAD)are:AW3D30(13.06 m and 7.75 m),SRTM 1(13.25 m and 7.41 m)and ASTER GDEM 2(18.87 m and 13.30 m).Other accuracy measures(MED,68.3% quantile,95% quantile)supply some evidence of the good quality of AW3D30 over ***,the effect of land cover and slope on DEM vertical accuracy was also *** models have proved to be worse in the areas dominated by forests and shrubs *** 1 and AW3D30 are more resilient to the effects of the scattering objects respectively in forests and cultivated *** dependency of DEMs accuracy on the terrain roughness is *** all slope intervals,AW3D30 is performing

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection is a major cause of liver damage, with virus-induced end-stage disease such as liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma resulting in a high rate of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Evidence that CD4+ T cell responses to HCV play an important role in the outcome of acute infection has been shown in several studies. However, the mechanisms behind viral persistence and the failure of CD4+ T cell responses to contain virus are poorly understood. During chronic HCV infection, HCV-specific CD4+ T cell responses are rela- tively weak or absent whereas in resolved infection these responses are vigorous and multispecific. Persons with a T-helper type I profile, which promotes cellular effec- tor mechanisms are thought to be more likely to experi- ence viral clearance, but the overall role of these cells in the immunopathogenesis of chronic liver disease is not known. To define this, much more data is required on the function and specificity of virus-specific CD4+ T cells, especially in the early phases of acute disease and in the liver during chronic infection. The role and possible mechanisms of action of CD4+ T cell responses in deter- mining the outcome of acute and chronic HCV infection will be discussed in this review.

Because of the low energy requirement and the environmentally safe byproducts, the capacitive deionization water desalination technology has attracted the attention of many researchers. The important requirements for electrode materials are good electrical conductivity, high surface area, good chemical stability and high specific capacitance. In this study, metallic nanoparticles that are encapsulated in a graphite shell(Cd doped Co/C nPs) are introduced as the new electrode material for the capacitive deionization process because they have higher specific capacitance than the pristine carbonaceous materials. Cd doped Co/C nPs perform better than graphene and the activated carbon. The introduced nanoparticles were synthesized using a simple sol gel technique. A typical sol gel composed of cadmium acetate, cobalt acetate and poly(vinyl alcohol)was prepared based on the polycondensation property of the acetates. The physiochemical characterizations that were used confirmed that the drying, grinding and calcination in an Ar atmosphere of the prepared gel produced the Cd doped Co nanoparticles, which were encapsulated in a thin graphite layer. Overall, the present study suggests a new method to effectively use the encapsulated bimetallic nanostructures in the capacitive deionization technology.

The functional response of Cydonia vicina nilotica Muls. （Coleoptera： Coccinellidae） to six densities of Aphis craccivora Koch （Homoptera： Aphididae） nymphs on broad bean （Viciafaba Linn.） was investigated in the laboratory. A linear relationship between the rate of consumption and prey density was observed with r^2 values between 0.58 and 0.97. Plotting prey density against prey killed by four larval instars, and adult males and females of C. vicina nilotica fit well with the type Ⅱ model of Holling＇ s disc equation. Adult females consumed the highest number of prey, followed by fourth instars and adult males. Based on the functional response data, the model predicts a maximum of 144.9, 116.3, 86.2, 80.0, 72.5 and 20.0 nymphs to be consumed per day by an individual adult female, fourth instar, adult male, third, second and first instars, respectively. The differences in the responses of the predator to aphid densities are discussed.
