Myzus persicae(***)is now considered a threat to agricultural crops due to economic *** synthetic insecticides applied every year against ***,are reported to be unsafe for environment,humans,and beneficial ***,several species of Myzus have been found to develop resistance due to over application of these ***,it is required to find some novel insecticide that would be safe for the environment as well as for *** the current study,two major pure constituentsα-pinene andβ-caryophyllene were evaluated for their insecticidal potential against *** using a fumigant toxicity ***,impact ofα-pinene andβ-caryophyllene on expression of five different genes,e.g.,HSP 60,FPPS I,OSD,TOL and ANT responsible for reproduction,dispersion,and growth of *** has also been *** perform fumigant toxicity assay,five different concentrations(3.5,4,4.5,5 and 6μL L−1)ofα-pinene andβ-caryophyllene were *** concentration(LC)was calculated,and gene expression studies were executed through qRT PCR at LC30 ofα-pinene andβ-*** constituents demonstrated excellent fumigant toxicity effects against *** at all five ***,α-pinene shows significantly better results(98%)as compared toβ-caryophyllene(80%)after 72 h at 6μL L−1 of *** highest upregulation in expression was demonstrated at LC30 dose ofα-pinene in five in three out of five genes understudy(TOL,ANT,and FPPS I).Conversely,two genes HSP 60 and OSD demonstrated downregulation at LC30 dose ofβ-***,our results highlighted the promising insecticidal potential of both compoundsα-pinene andβ-caryophylleneby interfering with the reproduction and development related processes in ***,allowing us to recommend the phytoconstituents under investigation as an ecofriendly alternative to synthetic insecticides.

PALEOMAGNETIC STUDY OF IGNEOUS ROCKS OF GUPIS—SHAMRAN AREA,KOHISTAN ARC, PAKISTAN,NW HIMALAYA

Kohistan Sequence has been considered as island arc formed during the subduction of oceanic lithosphere at the leading edge of northward moving Indian continent.. Sedimentary sequences indicate that formation of the intra\|oceanic Kohistan arc began in early Cretaceous time. The isotopic data demonstrate the involvement of enriched, DUPAL type mantle, suggesting that Kohistan arc was formed at or south of the present equator (Khan et al., 1997). The Intra oceanic phase of Kohistan lasted until sometime between 102 and 85 Ma, when Kohistan collided with Asia. From this time until collision with India about 50 Ma ago, Kohistan existed as Andean\|type margin. This paleomagnetic study is from the volcanic and plutonic rocks exposed in Gupis\|Shamran area (west of Gilgit) in northern part of the Kohistan arc. According to geochronological data these rocks were formed 61～55Ma ago (Treloar et al., 1989), when Kohistan was existing as Andean\|type margin. Seven to nine samples were collected from nine sites of Shamran volcanics (58±1)Ma and from five sites of Pingal, Gupis, and Yasin plutons (Ar\|Ar hornblende ages ranges from 61～52Ma). On the basis of one Rb\|Sr age of (59±2)Ma from these plutons, the above\|mentioned Ar/Ar ages may be regarded as reasonable intrusion ages of these plutons (Searle, 1991).

在面向大规模复杂数据的模式分类和识别问题中,绝大多数的分类器都遇到了维数灾难这一棘手的问题.在进行高维数据分类之前,基于监督流形学习的非线性降维方法可提供一种有效的解决方法.利用多项式逻辑斯蒂回归方法进行分类预测,并结合基于非线性降维的非监督流形学习方法解决图像以及非图像数据的分类问题,因而形成了一种新的分类识别方法.大量的实验测试和比较分析验证了本文所提方法的优越性.

Design of a Fuzzy Logic Based Controller for Fluid Level Application

In industrial process control, fluid level control is one of the most basic aspects. Many control methods such as on-off, linear and PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) were developed time by time and used for precise controlling of fluid level. Due to flaws of PID controller in non-linear type processes such as inertial lag, time delay and time varying etc., there is a need of alternative design methodology that can be applied in both linear and non-linear systems and it can be execute with fuzzy concept. By using fuzzy logic, designer can realize lower development cost, superior feature and better end product. In this paper, level of fluid in tank is control by using fuzzy logic concept. For this purpose, a simulation system of fuzzy logic controller for fluid level control is designed using simulation packages of MATLAB software such as Fuzzy Logic Toolbox and Simulink. The designed fuzzy logic controller first takes information about inflow and outflow of fluid in tank than maintain the level of fluid in tank by controlling its output valve. In this paper, a controller is designed on five rules using two-input and one-output parameters. At the end, simulation results of fuzzy logic based controller are compared with classical PID controller and it shows that fuzzy logic controller has better stability, fast response and small overshoot.

Pilomatrixoma, a rare benign tumour of sebaceous gland is commonly known as calcifying epithelioma of Malherbe or Tricholemmal cyst. We came across even the rarest form of this benign tumour of skin. Our case report was interestingly detected at a higher age group, unusual site of the body, multiple in nature following postoperative incision drainage of abscess in left axilla.

Review of stem cells as promising therapy for perianal disease in inflammatory bowel disease

Those patients with perianal Crohn's disease or ul-cerative colitis experience a difficult to treat disease process with a delayed state and often inability to heal despite current therapies. The approaches currently used to treat these patients with corticosteroids,antibiotics,immunomodulators, anti-tumor necrosis factor-α drug, and surgical repair are limited in their healing ability. This review presents all current literature since emergence in the early 2000s of stem cell therapy for patients with perianal inflammatory bowel disease and analyzes the efficacy, outcomes and safety within these studies.

Quality milk production in modern dairy systems is facing many *** in them is mastitis which is responsible for decline in milk production,altered milk composition and compromised udder *** malaise consists of multiple bacterial etiologies which can be broadly classified into contagious pathogens and environmental pathogens *** is being isolated invariably in all epidemiological studies,followed by *** virulence in mastitis is often accounted due to microbial ability of producing wide array of virulence factors that enhances pathogenicity and sustainment potential in the epithelial linings of *** affects quality parameters of milk *** as well as mineral profile due to local damage and inflammatory *** decreases the lactose secretion because of oxidative stress generated due to the formation of free radicals in the *** mastitic milk,IgG2 becomes the predominant antibody which is thought to be the main opsonin supporting neutrophil phagocytosis in the bovine mammary ***,it plays a significant role in the battle against mastitis *** infected cow shows a notable elevated level of the sodium and chloride and demoted level of calcium,potassium and inorganic *** micro minerals,mastitis effects are pretty much same as in most macro minerals *** down their concentration in milk *** preventive strategy alongside strict surveillance and biosecurity is recommended for combating this challenge.

Epidemiology and Antibiotic Susceptibility Profile of Methicillin Sensitive Staphylococcus aureus among Livestock and Pet Animals

Staphylococcus aureus is an important zoonotic pathogen that is responsible for a variety of infectious diseases in humans and *** present study was designed to check the prevalence and antimicrobial resistance of MSSA from three different animal origins(bovine,caprine and pet).A total of n=450 samples(150 each source)were collected from bovine,caprine and *** samples were subjected to *** identification by microbiological examination and confirmed *** isolates were put to oxacillin disk diffusion test to declare them *** MSSA confirmed isolates were subjected to various antibiotics for susceptibility profiling using Kirby Bauer Disk Diffusion *** present study found higher prevalence of MSSA from caprine origin(goat 83.33%)as compared to pet(cat 69.33%;dog 65.33%)and bovine origin(buffalo 26.66%;cattle 31.66%).The in-vitro findings of current study revealed oxytetracycline and gentamicin presented 100%efficacy against MSSA of all origins while the vancomycin presented>35%,>40%and>65%resistance against MSSA isolated from bovine,caprine and pet origin ***,ciprofloxacin was equally effective(50%)against MSSA from buffalo and cattle while>80%efficacy was noted against MSSA from cat and *** and amoxicillin+clavulanic acid were 77.78%and 66.67%sensitive to MSSA isolates from caprine *** present study found higher prevalence of MSSA from bovine,caprine and pet isolates with diversified pattern of susceptibility of different antibiotics from all sources.

From the beginning,the process of research and its publication is an ever-growing phenomenon and with the emergence of web technologies,its growth rate is *** a rough estimate,more than thirty thousand research journals have been issuing around four million papers annually on *** engines,indexing services,and digital libraries have been searching for such publications over the ***,getting the most relevant articles against the user requests is yet a *** is mainly because the articles are not appropriately indexed based on the hierarchies of granular subject *** overcome this issue,researchers are striving to investigate new techniques for the classification of the research articles especially,when the complete article text is not available(a case of nonopen access articles).The proposed study aims to investigate the multilabel classification over the available metadata in the best possible way and to assess,“to what extent metadata-based features can perform in contrast to content-based approaches.”In this regard,novel techniques for investigating multilabel classification have been proposed,developed,and evaluated on metadata such as the Title and Keywords of the *** proposed technique has been assessed for two diverse datasets,namely,from the Journal of universal computer science(***)and the benchmark dataset comprises of the articles published by the Association for computing machinery(ACM).The proposed technique yields encouraging results in contrast to the state-ofthe-art techniques in the literature.
