Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the sixth-most common cancer and the third leading cause of cancer-related death in the world. However, 40–70% patients eventually suffer from postoperative recurrence within 5 years. HCC recurrence after surgery severely affects prognosis of the patients. Nevertheless, there is an opportunity to improve patients' prognosis if doctors and researchers can recognize the importance of a standardized perioperative management and study it in clinical and pre-clinical settings. Hence, based on our own experience and published studies from other researchers, we develop this consensus regarding multidisciplinary management of locally recurrent and metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma after resection. This consensus consists of the entire course of recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma (RHCC) management, including prediction of recurrence, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and surveillance of RHCC. Consensus recommendations are presented with grades of evidences (Ia, Ib, IIa, IIb, III and IV), and strength ofrecommendations (A, B, C, D and E). We also develop a decision-making path for RHCC treatment, which can intuitively demonstrate the management for RHCC. It is hoped that we may make some effort to standardize the management of RHCC and ultimately understand how to improve outcomes.

The present study aims to demonstrate the chemical composition of the ethanolic extract of Sarcomphalus joazeiro bark and to evaluate its antibacterial and antibiofilm *** that,the ethanolic extract of the stem bark was prepared,and chemical characterization was carried out in *** inhibitory concentration and antibiotic modification test were performed by the microdilution *** and antiformation assays were evaluated by the crystal violet *** the chemical characterization,the presence of 24 peaks was *** activity showed minimum inhibitory concentration≥2048μg/*** the evaluations of the potentiating activity,synergism was the most *** the formation analysis,it was observed that most strains showed moderate biofilm *** was concluded that saponin derivatives are the major secondary metabolites in the analyzed extract and that it presents relevant synergism with the antibiotics studied and a significant ability to inhibit bacterial biofilm formation.

Medicinal plants have been presented as a valuable source of preservation of human health. In special, Stryphnodendron barbatiman has been employed due to its antimicrobial activity. This plant is rich in tannins and has been used in popular medicine for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorder, treatment of lesions, and also as anti-inflammatory microbicide. Citrobacter freundii is a member of the family Enterobacteriaceae and is one of the major causes of opportunistic infections. This microorganism is a bacterium (bacillus) aerobic gram-negative with a length in the range of 1 to 5 mm. C. freundii is commonly found in water, soil, food and occasionally in the gastrointestinal tract of animals and humans. In this paper, we have demonstrated the antibacterial activity of S. barbatiman by observing cellular death by using inhibition halo approach. Atomic force microscopy and FT-IR spectroscopy results suggested that interaction between the main active components of S. barbatiman with cellular wall of C. freundii gives rise to cellular wall damage, and then leads this microorganism to death.

目的了解患者对作业疗法的各种需求,探讨最佳的作业疗法实施方案。方法以恢复身体机能、获得心理稳定、回归职业等几个代表性的作业疗法为主要内容,对69名患者进行问卷调查,探寻患者对这些作业疗法需求的程度。结果90%以上的患者对“恢复身体机能”、“在家庭中发挥自己的作用”、“减少帮助量”、“获得心理稳定”及“能进行一些趣味活动”5项的回答为需求;对出院后的打算,32%的患者回答“在家中无须帮助而独立生活”,各有25%的患者回答“恢复原职/寻找职业”、“继续住院治疗”、23%的患者回答“到其他设施中生活”。结论患者虽然对恢复身体机能的需求程度非常高,但有必要促使患者从其他侧面来理解作业疗法的作用。

目的初步探讨正常人温度觉阈值的正常范围,以及各阈值与性别、部位之间的关系。方法用神经感觉分析仪(TSA-Ⅱ)的Limits法测定20例正常人上肢10个部位的冷觉、温觉、冷痛、热痛阈值并进行比较分析。结果各部位的冷觉、温觉个体差异不显著,冷痛觉和热痛觉的个体差异比较明显;男女之间在有些部位的温度觉阈值上有一定差异;左右侧在某些部位和某些温度觉方面有一定的差异。结论正常人的温度觉阈值与性别、部位有一定关系。

Approaches for High-Efficiency III-V/Si Tandem Solar Cells

The Si tandem solar cells are very attractive for realizing high efficiency and low cost. This paper overviews current status of III-V/Si tandem solar cells including our results. The analytical results for efficiency potential of Si tandem solar cells and loss analysis of Si bottom cells as well as bandgap energy optimization of sub-cells are presented. The 2-junction and 3-junction Si tandem solar cells have potential efficiencies of 36% and 42%, respectively. ERE (external radiative efficiency) analysis for Si solar cells is analyzed in order to clarify properties of Si bottom solar cells. Properties of single-crystalline Si heterojunction solar cell fabricated in this study were analyzed. The current status of efficiencies of our Si bottom cell, upper III-V 2-junction solar cell and III-V/Si 3-junction tandem solar cell was shown to be 5.2% and 28.6% and 33.8%. Achievement of Jsc of 12 mA/cm2 for Si bottom cell is necessary to realize high-efficiency 3-junction Si tandem solar cells with an efficiency of more than 37%. In addition, this paper presents ERE analysis of III-V 2-junction upper solar cells for improving III-V/Si 3-junction tandem solar cells. Several ways to improve efficiency of III-V/Si 3-junction tandem solar cells by reducing non-radiative recombination, optical and resistance losses are shown.

In plants, anisotropic cell expansion depends on cortical microtubules that serve as tracks along which macromolecules and vesicles are transported by the motor kinesins of unknown identities. We used cotton （Gossypium hirsutum） fibers that underwent robust elongation to discover kinesins that are involved in cell elongation and found Gh KINESIN-4A expressed abundantly. The motor was detected by immunofluores- cence on vesicle-like structures that were associated with cortical microtubules. In Arabidopsis thaliana, the orthologous motor At KINESIN-4A/FRA1, previously implicated in cellulose deposition during second- ary growth in fiber cells, was examined by live-cell imaging in cells expressing the fluorescently tagged functional protein. The motor decorated vesicle-like particles that exhibit a linear movement along cortical microtubules with an average velocity of 0.89 l^m/min, which was significantly different from those linked to cellulose biosynthesis. We also discovered that At KINESIN-4A/FRA1 and the related At KINESIN-4C play redundant roles in cell wall mechanics, cell elongation, and the axial growth of various vegetative and reproductive organs, as the loss of At KINESIN-4C greatly enhanced the defects caused by a null mutation at the KINESIN-4A/FRA 1 locus. The double mutant displayed a lack of cell wall softening at normal stages of rapid cell elongation. Furthermore, enhanced deposition of arabinose-containing carbohydrate was detected in the kinesin-4 mutants. Our findings established a connection between the Kinesin-4-based transport of cargoes containing non-cellulosic components along cortical microtubules and cell wall mechanics and cell elongation in flowering plants.
