Danggui-Buxue-Tang(DBT) is a famous traditional Chinese *** have reported that total glucosides of Danggui-Buxue-Tang(DBTG) can attenuate bleomycin-induced lung fibrosis through reduction of pro-inflammatory cytokines or the decrease of I collagen *** present study we further focuses on investigating mechanisms underlying the anti-fibrosis effects of DBTG on pulmonary fibrosis(PF) *** were randomly divided into six groups:(1) saline control group;(2) Bleomycin group in which rats were intratracheally instillated with bleomycin(5mg/kg);(3-5) Bleomycin and DBTG group,in which DBTG were given to rats daily(16,32 or 64 mg/kg/day,i.g.) one day after bleomycin instillation for 4 weeks until the end of the treatment;(6) Bleomycin and positive control group. Bleomycin stimulation resulted in a significant increase in the pathological scores for alveolitis and lung fibrosis and an evident increase in the contents of extracellular matrix(eCM) components in serum including hyaluronic acid(HA),laminin(LN), procollagen typeⅢ(PCⅢ) and collagenⅣ(CⅣ).Moreover,bleomycin-induced pulmonary injury and lung fibrosis was indicated by increased lung MMP-1,MMP-9 and TIMP-1 mRNA *** the other hand,DBTG treatment attenuated bleomycin-induced alveolitis and lung fibrosis,significant decreased the concentrations of HA,LN,PCⅢand CⅣin ***,administration of DBTG resulted in a significant reduction in metalloproteinase-1(MMP-1),MMP-9 and the tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1(TIMP-1) mRNA levels in different stages of pulmonary fibrosis,and the balance between MMPs and ***,the findings of the present study provide evidence that DBTG inhibits eCM deposition and modulates MMPs and TIMPs expression in the lung tissue,which may be associated with the attenuation of experimental pulmonary fibrosis.

Circulating Adhesion Molecules in Patients with Keshan Disease and Their Relationship with Coxsackie B Virus Infection

This study determined the levels of serum soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1 （sI-CAM-l） and soluble vascular cell adhesion molecular-1 （sVCAM-1） in patients with different types of Keshan disease （KD）, examined the relationship between Coxsackie B virus-specific IgM antibody （CBV-IgM） and slCAM-1 or sVCAM-1 in KD patients, and investigated the role of these adhesion molecules in the pathogenesis of KD and their clinical implications. The levels of serum slCAM-1, sVCAM-1 and CBV-IgM were measured by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in 22 patients with chronic Keshan disease （CKD）, 27 with latent Keshan disease （LKD） and 28 healthy controis. The subjects in different groups were adjusted for sex and age. echocardiography was adopted to determine left ventricular ejection fraction （LVeF） in 22 patients with CKD. The results showed that CKD patients had significantly higher levels of slCAM-1 and sVCAM-1 than LKD patients and healthy controls （P〈0.01 for all）. And there was significant difference in the levels of the 2 adhesion molecules between LKD patients and healthy controls （P〈0.05）. A negative correlation was found between LVeF and slCAM-1 or sVCAM-1 in CKD patients. The percentage of CBV-specific IgM positive individuals in KD patients was significantly higher than that of healthy controls. In CVB-specific IgM positive patients, the levels of serum slCAM-1 and sVCAM-1 were significantly greater than those in CBV-specific IgM negative counterpart. It was concluded that the increase in the levels of slCAM-1 and sVCAM-1 suggests the progression of inflammation in KD. slCAM-1 and sVCAM-1 can promote the development of myocardial pathology and lead to poor myocardial function. The increased serum slCAM-1 and sVCAM-1 in KD patients may be related to CBV infection.

目的 :探讨拉米夫定治疗慢性乙型肝炎病人后 ,病人的血清HBV指标和肝组织学的变化。方法 :选择 2 0例慢性乙型肝炎病人 ,口服拉米夫定 ,10 0mg ,qd× 1a。治疗前后 ,检测病人血清ALT ,HBV DNA ,HBeAg ;肝组织活检 ,作病理检查。结果 :治疗后ALT降低 2 0例 (10 0 % ) ;HBV DNA阴转 18例 (90 % ) ;肝组织炎症明显减轻 17例 (85 % ) ;治疗前后比较 ,差异有显著意义 (P eAg阴转 4例 (2 0 % ) ;病人肝组织纤维化减轻 2例 (10 % ) ;治疗前后比较 ,差异无显著意义 (P >0 .0 5 )。结论 :拉米夫定可以有效减轻慢性乙型肝炎病人的肝组织炎症 ,改善病人的肝功能 ,促使病人的血清HBV DNA阴转。

OBJeCTIVe Pioglitazone,known as a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ(PPARγ) agonist,is used to treat type 2 diabetes(T2DM).T2DM has been associated with reduced performance on numerous domains of cognitive function. Here,we investigated the effects of pioglitazone on memory impairment in a mouse model with defects in insulin sensitivity and secretion,namely high-fat diet(HFD) streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic *** ICR mice were fed an HFD for 4 weeks and then injected with a single low dose of STZ followed by continued HFD feeding for an additional 4 *** diabetic mice were orally administered with pioglitazone(9,18 mg·kg) for 4 - 5 weeks.Y-maze test and Morris water maze test(MWM) were employed for testing learning and memory. Objective To explore the relationship of lead levels in umbilical cord blood and foremilk with the neurobehavioral development of neonates with intrauterine exposure to lead at low level. Methods Lead levels in umbilical cord blood,which could be determined as indicators for intrauterine exposure to lead, were determined for 170 randomly selected neonates delivered at nanjing Maternity and Child Health Care hospital. Neonatal behavioral neurological assessment(NBNA) total score were determined as effect index.A descriptive analysis was applied to evaluate their *** neonates were divided into two groups of high- and low-exposure based on the cutoff lead values of 10μg/dl. Results There were significant differences in scores of NBNA and initiative muscle tension with Petween the groups of high and low lead levels in umbilical cord blood,and the score of the primitive reflex showed difference with Pe no difference could be observed in the behavioral capability,passive muscle tension and general evaluation. Conclusion The lead in the foremilk could transfer to the neonates,resulting in adverse effect on the early neurobehavioral development of neonates.

目的总结良性甲状腺囊实性结节囊液吸收后病灶的声像图特征,提高超声检查对该类病灶的诊断水平。方法运用2017版ACR-TIRADS分类回顾性分析81个良性甲状腺囊实性结节囊性成分吸收后病灶的声像图,归纳总结图像特征,所有病灶均经手术或细针穿刺病理证实为良性。结果 81个吸收后病灶中38个病灶表现为'类微乳头状癌型',超声多表现为低回声,垂直位分布,边缘不规则,伴微钙化,TIRADS 3类5个、4类8个、5类25个。27个病灶周边出现特异度'双边征'征象,TIRADS 3类2个、4类21个、5类4个。16个病灶表现为'类炎症型',声像图表现为原结节部位出现片状低回声,占位效应不明显,TIRADS 4类13个、5类3个。结论良性甲状腺囊实性结节囊液吸收后病灶的声像图有一定的特征性,总体TIRADS分类级别较高。出现于原囊实性结节部位、体积缩小、内有少量囊性成分及'双边征',上述征象有助于该类病灶的鉴别诊断,可适当下调TIRADS分类级别,避免过度治疗。

Amyloid plaques in the extracellular parenchyma consist mainly of amyloid-βpeptides(Aβ),one of the pathological hallmarks in Alzheimer’s disease(AD).In the present study,we investigated neuro-inflammation,amyloidogenesis,cognitive impairment following intracerebral injections of Leukotriene D4(LTD4) in *** results demonstrated that LTD4 produced memory impairment and formation of Aβ and Aβ both in vivo and in vitro,which were blocked by pranlukast,a cysteinyl leukotriene receptor 1 (CysLT1R) *** addition,LTD4 increased levels of CysLT1R expression,which was also blocked by *** results suggest that LTD4 plays an important role in the mediation of cognitive impairment and amyloidosis associated with AD via CysLT1 receptors,which may be a novel target for treatment of AD.

目的 :检测不明原因持续肝功能异常患者肝组织和其外周血单核细胞中 HBVDNA。方法 :采用原位分子杂交技术 ,分别检测随机选择的 40例不明原因持续肝功能异常患者外周血单核细胞和其肝组织中 HBV DNA。结果 :40例不明原因持续肝功能异常患者肝组织中 HBV DNA阳性 2 4例 ,阳性率为 5 8% ;外周血单核细胞中 HBV DNA阳性 1 8例 ,阳性率为 45 % ;两者比较 ,差异无显著性。结论 :对肝组织和外周血单核细胞进行 HBVDNA检测 ,有助于诊断隐性 HBV感染 ,后者对患者侵袭性小 ,取样简便。
