in this current century,most industries are moving towards automation,where human intervention is dramatically *** revolution leads to industrial revolution 4.0,which uses the internet of Things(ioT)and wireless sensor networks(WSN).With its associated applications,this ioT device is used to compute the receivedWSN data from devices and transfer it to remote locations for *** general,WSNs,the gateways are a long distance from the base station(BS)and are communicated through the gateways nearer to the *** the gateway,which is closer to the BS,energy drains faster because of the heavy load,which leads to energy issues around the *** the sensors are battery-operated,either replacement or recharging of those sensor node batteries is not possible after it is deployed to their corresponding *** that situation,energy plays a vital role in sensor *** reducing the network energy consumption and increasing the network lifetime,this paper proposed an efficient cluster head selection using improved Social spider Optimization with a Rough Set(iSSRS)and routing path selection to reduce the network load using the improved Grey wolf optimization(iGWO)approach.(i)Using iSSRS,the initial clusters are formed with the local nodes,and the cluster head is chosen.(ii)Load balancing through routing path selection using *** simulation results prove that the proposed optimization-based approaches efficiently reduce the energy through load balancing compared to existing systems in terms of energy efficiency,packet delivery ratio,network throughput,and packet loss percentage.

Objective:To identify the prevalence of Cryptosporidium from goats in three types of farm management systems in Terengganu,Malaysia and to determine the Cryptosporidium species infecting goats by using 18 S r ***:A total of 478 fecal samples were randomly collected from goats in three farms;199 samples were collected from intensive farm,179 samples from semi-intensive farm and 100 samples from extensive *** samples were processed by using formolether concentration technique and stained by using modified Ziehl–*** samples were performed by using nested PCR analysis by using 18 S r ***:Out of 478 goats,207(43.3%) were found to be infected with *** reared under the intensive farm management system reported the highest prevalence of infection(49.7%),followed by intensive farm management system(41%) and the lowest prevalence was reported in the goats reared under semi-intensive management system(37.4%).Conclusions:The identified species found in goat was Cryptosporidium *** study on the zoonotic transmission of Cryptosporidium parvum in goats needs to be done in order to find the source of transmission of this parasite.

Glutamate and Caffeine intake of Some Snacks and Drinks in Saudi Arabia

The aim of this study was to estimate the intake level of glutamate and caffeine from some snacks and drinks. The survey was carried out during 2008 to 2009 in 3 selected governorates (Al-Hassa, Al- Katif and AD-Dammam) localized in the eastern area of Saudi Arabia. The age of study participants (298) was ranged between less than 4 – over 30 years. The snacks and drinks consumption data were gathered and calculated using the frequency methods. Forty nine samples of snacks and beverages were analyzed by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for glutamate and caffeine contents. The results indicated that total intake of snacks, chocolates and drinks were significantly correlated (spearman r = 0.856, 0.591, 0.943, p = 0.0) with total intake of glutamate and caffeine. The mean of caffeine intake was 40.4± 44.5 mg, while the mean of glutamate intake was 0.134± 0.146 mg. The highest concentration of glutamate was in Pringles with Ketchup (0.420), Bugles Smoking BBQ (0.660) and indomie with Vegetables (0.860). The high caffeine concentrations of Kit Kat, Ulker and Galaxy samples were 166, 165.5, and 134.5 mg/kg respectively, while the beverages, the high caffeine concentrations were presented in energy drinks like Red bull (345.5), Power Horse (339.0) and Bugzy(333.0) mg/L. The children aged between 4– 8 were the most consumers of snacks which containing glutamate, while the adolescents consumed more chocolates and beverages which containing caffeine. These finding suggests that consumption of salty snacks, and sugar-sweetened beverages is mounting between important categories in the community, so interventions focusing on increasing physical activity and fruit and vegetable consumption will have an impact on obesity control and promoting health.

Abstract:Fog computing provides quality of service for cloud *** the data computation intensifies,edge computing becomes ***,mobile fog computing is used for reducing traffic and the time for data computation in the *** previous studies,software-defined networking(SDN)and network functions virtualization(NFV)were used separately in edge *** industrial and academic research is tackling to integrate SDN and NFV in different environments to address the challenges in performance,reliability,and ***/NFV is still in *** traditional internet of things(ioT)data analysis system is only based on a linear and time-variant system that needs an ioT data system with a high-precision *** paper proposes a combined architecture of SDN and NFV on an edge node server for ioT devices to reduce the computational complexity in cloud-based fog *** provides a generalization structure of the forwarding plane,which is separated from the control ***,NFV concentrates on virtualization by combining the forwarding model with virtual network functions(VNFs)as a single or chain of VNFs,which leads to interoperability and *** orchestrator layer in the proposed software-defined NFV is responsible for handling real-time tasks by using an edge node server through the SDN controller via four actions:task creation,modification,operation,and *** proposed architecture is simulated on the EstiNet simulator,and total time delay,reliability,and satisfaction are used as evaluation *** simulation results are compared with the results of existing architectures,such as software-defined unified virtual monitoring function and ASTP,to analyze the performance of the proposed *** analysis results indicate that our proposed architecture achieves better performance in terms of total time delay(1800 s for 200 ioT devices),reliability(90%),and satisfaction(90%).

The aim of this research is to find the effect of the geomagnetic storms on the variation of the Ozone layer thickness by studying the hourly variations, daily average and monthly average of the Ozone amount above iraq (38°N - 49°N;28°E - 38°E), and rates of productions correlated with fluctuations in geomagnetic field intensity. Data of total column ozone (tco3) and temperature (t2m) were selected from the ERA satellite for year 2015, in which there are seven days strong and severe geomagnetic storms occurring along four months. From the monthly average in which the storm occurred, the contour maps for (tco3) and (t2m) reveal that the thickness of Ozone layer in North of iraq wider than the middle and South of iraq for all stormy months except in October of 2015 appears which is the maximum in middle of iraq. The temperature is reversely proportional with Ozone thickness. Results of the daily average appear that there are enhancements in (tco3) during the stormy day for the three iraqi cities Muthanna, Baghdad, and Sulaymaniyah;the maximum values in winter and spring reach 356 DU in March. From the hourly variations of tco3 and t2m for three iraqi cities, it is seen that in some events it decreases and others increase, not dependent on storm type. The slope of trend line for variation of (tco3) with the variation of (t2m) drawn gives that there is no relationship between them along the three cities taken and for all 7 events. Finally from the percentage variation of (tco3) and (t2m) for two days before the storm and seven days after the storms it is indicated that there is a considerable unsystematic increase and decrease for the three cities chosen.

BACKGROUND Picky eating is a commonly observed behavior among children globally,negatively impacting their physical and mental *** common characteristics distinguish peaky eaters,including food selectivity,food neophobia,and food avoidance,there is no clear definition to assess this *** to the unavailability of data regarding picky eating,it wasn’t easy to estimate its *** To develop a regional protocol to help healthcare professionals identify and manage mild and moderate picky eating *** A virtual roundtable discussion was held in April 2021 to gather the opinions of seven pediatricians and two pediatric dietitians from eight Middle Eastern countries who had great experience in the management of picky *** discussion covered different topics,including clearly defining mild and moderate picky eating,identifying the role of diet fortification in these cases,and the possibility of developing a systematic approach to diet *** The panel identified picky eating as consuming an inadequate amount and variety of foods by rejecting familiar and unfamiliar *** of the time,moderate picky eating cases had micronutrient deficiencies with over-or undernutrition;the mild cases only showed inadequate food consumption and/or poor diet *** attention to the organic red flags like growth faltering and development delay and behavioral red flags,including food fixation and anticipatory gagging,will help healthcare professionals evaluate the picky eaters and the caregivers to care for their *** dietary supplementation and commercial food fortification play an important role in picky eating,they were no benefit in the Middle *** The panel agreed that food fortification through a food-first approach and oral nutritional supplements would be the best for Middle Eastern *** recommendations would facilitate identifying and managing picky-eating children in the Middle East.

The influence of tree age and the effect of growth regulators on the micropropagation of the carob (i>Ceratonia siliquai> L.) from the axillary buds of mature trees have been described. Significant differences (P 3. The use of 0.5 mg/l BA and 0.2 mg/l IBA was the most favorable for shoots neoformation. The leafy shoots are propagated in MS medium with BA at a concentration of 1.5 mg/l. The addition of gibberellic acid at 0.2 mg/l in the culture medium allows a good elongation and development of the shoots of the carob. The effect of the age of the plant material used has shown that explants taken from mature carob trees have a low capacity for bud sprouting and shoot proliferation compared to those taken from juvenile trees. Rooting has been successful when the plant material used is taken from young trees on an MS medium containing 2 mg/IBA, with an average number of 3 to 4, roots 1 to 2 cm long, then for the adult material, no rooting was observed. Based on these tests, it appears that micropropagation of the carob from the axillary buds is feasible, but additional work must be done to root this recalcitrant material.
