This p.p.r rep.esents p.rallel notch, H-shap. slot loaded single layer p.tch antenna in X, and Ku bands for wideband ap.lications. The design has made on low-cost material of Rogers R03003 substrate having dielectric constant of 3.0 with thickness of 1.6.0 mm. The p.op.sed scheme and p.obe feeding technique p.ovide designed antenna to op.rate in two different frequencies range in X and Ku band (10.60 GHz to 15.91 GHz). The antenna resonates at 11.37 GHz for X band and another three resonates at 12.13 GHz, 13.14 GHz and 14.66 GHz for Ku band with maximum gain of 9.20 dBi resp.ctively. The simulation results have been obtained 40.01% imp.dance bandwidth with return loss (-10 dB) or . The p.op.sed antenna is simp.e in structure comp.red to the regular single layer p.tch antennas. It is highly suitable for satellite and RADAR communications system. Designing and simulation of this antenna have been done by IE3D software version 12.0, which is based on MOM method.

Recently a lot of medical tablets with sp.cial p.ckets in the global market are available. For the safety and p.rity of the tablet, we need to scan it by develop.d scanner technology, which should be not more exp.nsive and easily available in the market. The THz technology is one of them. In the p.op.sed work, we have tasted tablet images with the help.of the THz sup.r-resolution scanner, which is already available in our lab. The AI machine learning data concep. has been investigated. Good resolution of images has been obtained. Furthermore, the challenging research p.oblems are discussed. Finally, it summarizes the recent up.ates in terahertz technology for drug insp.ction and medical ap.lications with p.tential research challenges.

Aims To exp.ain how p.ant community cop.s with a recurring anthrop.genic forest fire in Himalayan Chir p.ne forest,it is imp.rtant to understand their p.stfire regeneration *** p.imary aim of the study was to know:(i)how fire imp.ct soil seed bank comp.sition and(ii)how much soil seed bank comp.sition differs with standing vegetation after the forest *** Soil samp.es were collected from burned and adjoining unburned sites in blocks using three layers down to 9 cm dep.h immediately after a forest fire and incubated in the net-house for seedling *** sites were revisited during late monsoon/early autumn season to know the sp.cies comp.sition of standing vegetation recovered after a forest *** Findings Soil contained viable seeds of>70 *** average seed bank density was 8417 and 14217 seeds/m^(2) in the burned and unburned site,*** both sites,it decreased with increasing soil *** fire had no significant imp.ct on seed density;however,taking individual layers into consideration,fire had a significant imp.ct on seed density only in the up.ermost soil *** sp.cies richness of soil seed bank and standing vegetation was 73 and 100,resp.ctively(with 35 shared sp.cies),resulting in a similarity of about 40%.In contrast,>80%sp.cies in soil seed bank was found similar between burned and unburned ***,there were no significant differences in sp.cies richness of standing vegetation in burned(87 sp..)and unburned(78 sp..)*** results showed that fire had an insignificant imp.ct on soil seed bank comp.sition and restoration p.tential of a p.ant sp.cies from *** understory herb and shrub p.ant community’s ability to form a fire-resistant viable soil seed bank and cap.ble to recover in the p.stfire rainy season,exp.ains how they reduce the risk of recurring fire damage in maintaining their p.p.lation.

Balanced sp.ingolip.d signaling is imp.rtant for the maintenance of homeostasis. Sp.ingolip.ds were demonstrated to function as structural comp.nents, second messengers, and regulators of cell growth and survival in normal and disease-affected tissues. p.rticularly, sp.ingosine kinase 1 (Sp.K1) and its p.oduct sp.ingosine-1-p.osp.ate (S1p. op.rate as mediators and facilitators of p.oliferation-linked signaling. Unlimited p.oliferation (selfrenewal) within the regulated environment is a hallmark of p.ogenitor/stem cells that was recently associated with the S1p.signaling network in vasculature, nervous,muscular, and immune systems. S1p.was shown to regulate p.ogenitor-related characteristics in normal and cancerstemcells(CSCs) viaG-p.otein coup.ed recep.orsS1p.(n=1 to 5). The Sp.K/S1p.axis is crucially involved in the regulation of embryonic develop.ent of vasculature and the nervous system, hematop.ietic stem cell migration, regeneration of skeletal muscle, and develop.ent of multip.e sclerosis. The ratio of the S1p.recep.or exp.ession, localization, and sp.cific S1p.recep.oractivated downstream effectors influenced the rate of selfrenewal and should be further exp.ored as regeneration related targets. Considering malignant transformation,it is essential to control the level of self-renewal *** of the p.ogenitor cell should be synchronized with differentiation to p.ovide healthy lifelong function of blood, immune systems, and rep.acement of damaged ordead cells. The differentiation-related role of Sp.K/S1p.remains p.orly assessed. A few p.oneering investigations exp.oredp.armacologicaltoolsthattargetsp.ingolip.d signaling and can p.tentially confine and direct self-renewal towards normal differentiation. Further investigation is required to test the role of the Sp.K/S1p.axis in regulation of self-renewal and differentiation.

Objective:To study the influence of methanolic and aqueous extract of Withania somnifera (***) root on the marble-burying behavior of mice a well-accep.ed model of obsessive comp.lsive ***:Mice were divided in different group.(n=6).Fluoxetine(5,10,15 mg/kg), (10,25,50,100 mg/kg) and melhanolic extract ***(MEWS)(10,25,50,100 mg/kg) were administered i.p.30 *** to the assessment of marble burying behavior and locomotor *** control group.received vehicle of the ***:Administration of aqueous extracts ***(AEWS) and MEWS(50 mg/kg) successively decreaesed the marble burying behavior activity without affecting motor *** effect of AEWS and MEWS was comp.rable to standard fluoxetine,ritanserin and ***:*** extract is effective in treating obsessive comp.lsive disorder.

ZrCoSb based half-Heusler(HH)alloys have been widely studied as a p.typ. thermoelectric(TE)material for p.wer generation ap.lications in the mid-temp.rature ***,their intrinsically high thermal conductivity has been found to be detrimental for the imp.ovement in their thermoelectric figure-of-merit(ZT),which p.esently is far below *** the current work,a state-of-the-art ZT~1.1 at 873 K was realized in an op.imized comp.sition of nanostructured Zr1-xHfxCoSb_(0.9)Sn_(0.1) HH alloys by emp.oying comp.sitional modulation ***-by-grain comp.sitional variations,which leads to a substantial increase in its p.wer factor coup.ed with a concurrent decrease in its thermal *** reduction in the p.onon mean-free-p.th is observed on Hf substitution,which is comp.rable to the average crystallite size(~25 nm),thus leading to a very low thermal conductivity of~2.2Wm^(-1)K^(-1) at 873 K,which is amongst the lowest rep.rted in HH *** TE device characteristics,estimated using cumulative temp.rature dep.ndence model for quantitative evaluation of TE p.rformance,yielded an outp.t p.wer density of~10 Wcm2 with a leg efficiency of~10%in the op.imized comp.sition of nanostructured Zr_(1-x)Hf_(x)CoSb_(0.9)Sn_(0.1) HH alloys,which is comp.rable to the rep.rted efficiencies of other state-of-the-art TE materials.

Effect of Holistic Module of Yoga and Ayurvedic p.nchakarma in Typ. 2 Diabetes Mellitus—A p.lot Study

p.ecip.tation is the main p.ocess by which trace gases and aerosols are scavenged from the atmosp.ere in temp.rate *** p.ecip.tation is defined as anything wet fallout from the atmosp.ere and bulk p.ecip.tation is the mixture of rain（wet） and the dry fallout Bulk and wet p.ecip.tation samp.es were collected at Bangalore north（Hebbal）,Bangalore South（Jayanagar）,Mandya and Mysore in Karnataka state,India by using bulk p.ecip.tation collectors,during the year *** of major cations（Ca2+,Mg2+,Na+,K+,and NH4+-N） and anions（Cl-,SO42-,HCO3-,NO3-N,NO2-N,and p.43--p. were determined and p.edominant ions were *** VWM p. of wet p.ecip.tation of Bangalore（Hebbal and Jayanagar） p.ecip.tation was 5.12 which is acidic rain and in Mandya urban area was 5.93 and Mysore was 5.84,which is alkaline in *** annual VWM p. of the bulk p.ecip.tation at Bangalore urban area was 5.22 during 2005-07,lower than the threshold p.int for neutrality,indicating that the annual mean was in acidic range resulting in acid *** decreased from an average of 6.61（1974-84） to 5.22（2005-07） over the last three decades indicating the turning of the alkaline nature of the p.ecip.tation to acidic nature and in Mandya and Mysore urban area it was 6.04 and 5.94,which is alkaline in *** study also reveals that p. of bulk samp.es is always higher then wet only samp.e,which indicates the influence of dry *** decreasing of p. in the p.ecip.tation of Bangalore urban area could be because of SO42-and ***4+ and Ca2+ were acting as neutralizing ions or in the absence of these ions;the p. reduction of p.ecip.tation may be much faster towards acidic *** difference between wet only and bulk comp.nents indicates the influence of dry dep.sition.

Objective: Ayurveda and Yoga have emerged as beneficial adjuvant in management of diabetes. This p.lot study was p.anned to understand the concep.s and assess the effect of a combination of Ayurvedic p.nchakarma and Yoga. Design: Exp.rimental p.lot study with p.e p.st design. Subjects: Twelve p.tients with typ. 2 diabetes in age between 40-70 years (mean 56 ± 9.08) with no cardiac, renal or retinal comp.ications. Settings: Residential Holistic Health Centre of S-VYASA. Intervention: A validated Ayurveda p.otocol comp.ising of p.nchakarma followed by maintenance therap. with a sp.cific module of Integrated Ap.roach of Yoga Therap. for Diabetes that included selected p.ysical p.stures (asanas), p.anayama, meditation, lifestyle change and yogic counseling for stress management. All subjects underwent a residential p.ogram for six weeks followed by therap. at home for 12 weeks. Results were analyzed using p.ired “t” test. Results: After 6 weeks, Fasting Blood Glucose reduced (p.p.st p.andial Blood Glucose from 191.69 ± 76.77 to 152.92 ± 62.06 (20.23%, p.p.p.p.= 0.014) from 8.79 ± 2.12 to 8.07 ± 1.77 (8.19%) in 6th week and further to 7.63 ± 2.12 (13.19%, p.= 0.001) after 12th week. Oral Hyp.glycemic Agent (OHA) drug score reduced from 2.83 ± 0.93 to 1 ± 1.27 (64.66%, p.p.om score reduced from 2.83 ± 1.02 to 1.66 ± 0.65 (p.p.st assessments, two subjects shifted from tamas to rajas dominance. Conclusion: This first p.lot study has indication of a p.tentially beneficial effect of combining traditionally recommended Ayurveda p.nchakarma with maintenance herbs and Yoga, in reducing blood glucose and lip.ds. Long term RCT is recommended.
