Integrative proteomic-transcriptomic analysis revealed the lifestyles of Lactobacillus paracasei H4-11 and Kluyveromyces marxianus L1-1 under co-cultivation conditions

Compared with the rice-acid soup inoculated with single starter,the synergistically intensifi ed rice-acid soup inoculated with Lactobacillus paracasei H4-11(*** H4-11)and Kluyveromyces marxianus L1-1(*** L1-1)contained more fl avor *** acids mainly included L-lactic acid and the main volatile fl avor component was ethyl ***,the signal intensity of astringency and bitterness and the total concentration of volatile sulfur compounds were *** combined analysis results of Rna sequencing(Rna-seq)technology and 4D label-free quantitative(4D LFQ)proteomics explained the fl avor formation pathways in rice-acid soup inoculated with *** H4-11 and *** *** *** H4-11,L-lactate dehydrogenase,phosphoglucomutase,acetate kinase,alcohol dehydrogenase and acetyl-CoA were up-regulated and D-lactate dehydrogenase and N-Acetyltransferase were *** *** L1-1,Acetyl-CoA,acetaldehyde dehydrogenase,acyl-coenzyme A,N-acetyltransferase,and L-lactate dehydrogenase were up-regulated and hexokinase,alcohol dehydrogenase,and alcohol O-acetyltransferase were *** above up-regulation and down-regulation synergistically promoted the formation of characteristic fl avor compounds(mainly L-lactic acid and ethyl acetate).Enzyme-linked immunoassay(ELisa)and parallel reaction monitoring(PRM)quantitative analysis respectively verifi ed that 5 key metabolic enzymes and 27 proteins in *** H4-11 and *** L1-1 were associated with the characteristic fl avor of rice-acid soup,as confi rmed by the quantitative results of 4D LFQ.

Lanthanides(Ln^(3+))doped luminescent materials play critical roles in lighting and display *** increasing experimental and theoretical research have been carried out on aluminate-based phosphors for white light-emitting diodes(WLeds)over the past decades,most investigation was mainly focused on their luminescent properties;therefore,the local structure of the light emission center remains ***,doping-induced local composition and structure modification around the luminescent centers have yet to be *** this study,we use advanced electron microscopy techniques including electron diffraction(ed),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy(HAADF-STEM),in combination with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(edX)and electron energy loss spectroscopy(EELS),to reveal atomically resolved crystalline and chemical structure of Ce^(3+)doped *** microscopic results prove substantial microstructural and compositional inhomogeneities in Ce^(3+)doped CaYAlO_(4),especially the appearance of Ce dopant clustering and Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+)valence *** research provides a new understanding the structure of Ln^(3+)doped luminescent materials and will facilitate the materials design for next-generation WLeds luminescent materials.

Idesia polycarpa *** vestita *** a dioecious tree species native to eastern *** are diffi culties associated with distinguishing the sex of the plant at the seedling *** order to explore the mechanism of sex diff erentiation in fl ower development,we conducted the transcriptome profi les of male and female fl owers at early,metaphase and late developmental *** 123,335 unigenes with a total length of 83,996 Mb and an average length of 168 bp were *** unigenes were blasted into Nr,Nt,Pfam,KOG/COG,Swiss-prot,KEGG,GO *** analysis demonstrated that *** and black cottonwood had the highest homology with the alignment of 92,871 *** study identifi ed 80 groups of transcription factor families with a total of 1475 unigenes,mainly including MYB,WRKY,AP2 and bHLH transcription factor *** pathway analysis showed that the expression of numerous plant hormones(cytokinin,gibberellin and ethylene)and fl avonoid biosynthesis pathway were diff erent at various stages of female and male fl ower *** addition,a number of unigenes associated with fl owering were identifi ed which were key genes associated with photoperiodic,vernalization,thermosensory,gibberellin,and autonomic *** results show that *** fl oral organ development was in accordance with the ABCDE model,in which the down-regulation of the B gene family might aff ect stamen fertility in late stages of female fl ower *** experiments validated that the expression patterns of 15 unigenes were consistent with those in Rna-seq *** results highlight a central role for plant sex identifi cation in seedling production and a sex-determining mechanism for dioecious *** addition,the transcriptome data provided a theoretical basis for *** genetic diversity analysis and molecular-assisted breeding.

BACKGROUND:Penehyclidine is a newly developed anticholinergic *** aimed to investigate the role of penehyclidine in acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(OP)***:We searched the Pubmed,Cochrane library,EMBASE,Chinese national Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Chinese Biomedical literature(CBM)and Wanfang *** controlled trials(RCTs)recruiting acute OP patients were identifi ed for *** outcomes included cure rate,mortality rate,time to atropinization,time to 60%normal acetylcholinesterase(AchE)level,rate of intermediate syndrome(IMS)and rate of adverse drug reactions(ADR).RESULTS:Sixteen RCTs involving 1,334 patients were identifi *** with the atropineor penehyclidine-alone groups,atropine combined with penehyclidine significantly increased the cure rate(penehyclidine+atropine ***,0.97 vs.0.86,RR 1.13,95%CI[1.07–1.19];penehyclidine+atropine ***,0.93 vs.0.80,RR 1.08,95%CI[1.01–1.15])and reduced the mortality rate(penehyclidine+atropine ***,0.015 vs.0.11,RR 0.17,95%CI[0.06–0.49];penehyclidine+atropine ***,0.13 vs.0.08,RR 0.23,95%CI[0.04–1.28]).Atropine combined with penehyclidine in OP patients also helped reduce the time to atropinization and AchE recovery,the rate of IMS and the rate of *** with a single dose of atropine,a single dose of penehyclidine also signifi cantly elevated the cure rate,reduced times to atropinization,AchE recovery,and rate of ***:Atropine combined with penehyclidine benefi ts OP patients by enhancing the cure rate,mortality rate,time to atropinization,AchE recovery,IMS rate,total ADR and duration of *** combined with atropine is likely a better initial therapy for OP patients than atropine alone.

Semiconductor heterojunction engineering and three-dimensional(3D)architecture con-struction have been considered highly desirable strategies to enhance photocatalytic ***,a BiOI/ZnO composite photocatalyst with a 3D flower-like architecture was successfully prepared,whichwas stably immobilized on three-dimensional porous lignocel-lulosic biomass Juncus effusus(JE)*** outstanding photocatalytic performance of the BiOI/ZnO-JE fiber was confirmed by the degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride(TC,90%),ciprofloxacin(CIP,79%),and norfloxacin(NOR,81%).The enhanced photocatalytic activities were mainly attributed to the synergistic absorption performance of the lignocellulosic JE and the effective transfer and separation of ***,the hydroxyl(·OH)and super-oxide radicals(·O_(2)^(−))are themain reactive species in the photocatalytic process according to the *** work may provide a novel perspective for constructing high-performance lignocellulosic-based photocatalytic materials.

Utilizing 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(edOT)-bridged non-fullerene acceptors for efficient organic solar cells

A rational design of efficient low-band-gap non-fullerene acceptors(NFAs)for high-performance organic solar cells(OSCs)remains challenging;the main constraint being the decrease in the energy level of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbitals(LUMOs)as the bandgap of A-D-A-type NFAs ***,the short current density(J_(sc))and open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))result in a trade-off relationship,making it difficult to obtain efficient ***,three NFAs(IFL-ed-4 F,IDT-ed-4 F,and IDTT-ed-2 F)were synthesized to address the above-mentioned issue by introducing 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(edOT)as aπ-*** NFAs exhibit relatively low bandgaps(1.67,1.42,and 1.49 eV,respectively)and upshifted LUMO levels(-3.88,-3.84,and-3.81 eV,respectively)compared with most reported low-band-gap ***,the photovoltaic devices based on IDT-ed-4 F blended with a PBDB-T donor polymer showed the best power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 10.4%with a high J_(sc) of 22.1 mA cm^(-2) and Voc of 0.884 V among the examined *** contrast,IDTT-ed-4 F,which was designed with an asymmetric structure of the D-p-A type,showed the lowest efficiency of 1.5%owing to the poor morphology and charge transport properties of the binary ***,when this was introduced as the third component of the PM6:BTP-BO-4 Cl,complementary absorption and cascade energy-level alignment between the two substances could be ***,the IDTT-ed-4 F-based ternary blend device not only improved the Jscand Voc,but also achieved a PCE of 15.2%,which is approximately 5.3%higher than that of the reference device with a minimized energy loss of 0.488 *** addition,the universality of IDTT-ed-2 F as a third component was effectively demonstrated in other photoactive systems,specifically,PM6:BTPe C9 and PTB7-Th:IEICO-4 *** work facilitates a better understanding of the structure–property relationship for utilizing efficient edOT-bridged NFAs in high-performance OSC applications.

Poly (3-alkylthiophenes) (P3ATs), as a new kind of soluble, fusible and processable conductive polymers, have attracted a great interest and much attention of chemists and physicists. It has been widely accepted that P3ATs can form similar lay-ered structures with alkyl side chains being orient-ed in the lateral a-axis direction. Moreover, when the number of the carbon atoms in the alkyl side chains is more than 10, some orderly arrangement of the side chains will occur between the layers.
