Learning and inferring underlying motion patterns of captured 2D scenes and then re-creating dynamic evolution consistent with the real-world natural phenomena have high appeal for graphics and *** bridge the technical gap between virtual and real environments,we focus on the inverse modeling and reconstruction of visually consistent and property-verifiable oceans,taking advantage of deep learning and differentiable physics to learn geometry and constitute waves in a self-supervised ***,we infer hierarchical geometry using two networks,which are optimized via the differentiable *** extract wave components from the sequence of inferred geometry through a network equipped with a differentiable ocean ***,ocean dynamics can be evolved using the reconstructed wave *** extensive experiments,we verify that our new method yields satisfactory results for both geometry reconstruction and wave ***,the new framework has the inverse modeling potential to facilitate a host of graphics applications,such as the rapid production of physically accurate scene animation and editing guided by real ocean scenes.

To improve the estimation accuracy of state of charge(SOC)and state of health(SOH)for lithium-ion batteries,in this paper,a joint estimation method of SOC and SOH at charging cut-off voltage based on genetic algorithm(GA)combined with back propagation(BP)neural network is proposed,the research addresses the issue of data manipulation resulting ***,anomalous data stemming fromcyber-attacks are identified and eliminated using the isolated forest algorithm,followed by data ***,the incremental capacity(IC)curve is derived fromthe restored data using theKalman filtering algorithm,with the peak of the ICcurve(ICP)and its corresponding voltage serving as the health factor(HF).thirdly,the GA-BP neural network is applied to map the relationship between HF,constant current charging time,and SOH,facilitating the estimation of SOH based on ***,SOC estimation at the charging cut-off voltage is calculated by inputting the SOH estimation value into the trained model to determine the constant current charging time,and by updating the maximum available *** show that the root mean squared error of the joint estimation results does not exceed 1%,which proves that the proposed method can estimate the SOC and SOH accurately and stably even in the presence of false data injection attacks.

Stroke can cause Wallerian degeneration in regions outside of the brain,particularly in the corticospinal *** investigate the fate of major glial cells and axons within affected areas of the corticospinal tract following stroke,we induced photochemical infarction of the sensorimotor cortex leading to Wallerian degeneration along the full extent of the corticospinal *** first used a routine,sensitive marker of axonal injury,amyloid precursor protein,to examine Wallerian degeneration of the corticospinal *** antibody to amyloid precursor protein mapped exclusively to proximal axonal segments within the ischemic cortex,with no positive signal in distal parts of the corticospinal tract,at all time *** improve visualization of Wallerian degeneration,we next utilized an orthograde virus that expresses green fluorescent protein to label the corticospinal tract and then quantitatively evaluated green fluorescent protein-expressing *** this approach,we found that axonal degeneration began on day 3 post-stroke and was almost complete by 7 days after *** addition,microglia mobilized and activated early,from day 7 after stroke,but did not maintain a phagocytic state over ***,astrocytes showed relatively delayed mobilization and a moderate response to Wallerian ***,no anterograde degeneration of spinal anterior horn cells was observed in response to Wallerian degeneration of the corticospinal *** conclusion,our data provide evidence for dynamic,pathogenic spatiotemporal changes in major cellular components of the corticospinal tract during Wallerian degeneration.

BACKGROUND Tumor budding(TB)has emerged as a promising independent prognostic biomarker in colorectal cancer(CRC).The prognostic role of TB has been extensively studied and currently affects clinical decision making in patients with stage I and II ***,existing prognostic studies on TB in stage III CRC have been confined to small retrospective cohort ***,this study investigated the correlation among TB categories,clinicopathological features,and prognosis in stage III-IV CRC to further enhance the precision and individualization of treatment through refined prognostic risk *** To analyze the relationship between TB categories and clinicopathological characteristics and assess their prognostic value in stage III-IV CRC to further refine the prognostic risk stratification of stage III-IV *** The clinical data of 547 CRC patients were collected for this retrospective *** at the front edge of the tumor buds was counted according to the 2016 International Tumor Budding Consensus Conference *** Multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis demonstrated that chemotherapy(P=0.004),clinical stage IV(Pnal lymph node metastases(P=0.004),left-sided colonic cancer(P=0.040),and Bd 2-3(P=0.002)were independent prognostic factors in patients with stage III-IV ***,the density of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes was higher in Bd 1 than in Bd 2-3,both in the tumor stroma and its invasive *** TB has an independent predictive prognostic value in patients with stage III-IV *** is recommended to complete the TB report of stage III-IV CRC cases in the standardized pathological report to further refine risk stratification.

BACKGROUND Multiple endocrine neoplasias(MENs)are a group of hereditary diseases invol-ving multiple endocrine glands,and their prevalence is *** type 1(MEN1)has diverse clinical manifestations,mainly involving the parathyroid glands,gastrointestinal tract,pancreas and pituitary gland,making it easy to miss the clinical *** SUMMARY We present the case of a patient in whom MEN1 was detected early.A middle-aged male with recurrent abdominal pain and diarrhea was admitted to the *** tests at admission revealed hypercalcemia and hypophosphatemia,and emission computed tomography of the parathyroid glands revealed a hy-perfunctioning parathyroid *** findings suggested a duodenal bulge and *** endoscopy revealed a hypoechoic lesion in the duodenal *** blood tests revealed elevated levels of serum *** was performed,and pathological analysis of the surgical specimens revealed a parathyroid adenoma after parathyroidectomy and a neuroendocrine tumor after duodenal *** time from onset to the definitive diagnosis of MEN1 was only approximately 1 *** For patients who present with gastrointestinal symptoms accompanied by hyper-calcemia and hypophosphatemia,clinicians need to be alert to the possibility of MEN1.

AIM: To establish a cell culture system with long-term replication of hepatitis C virus in vitro. METHODS: Human hepatoma cell line 7721 was tested for its susceptibility to HCV by incubating with a serum from a patient with chronic hepatitis C. Cells and supernatant were harvested at various phases during the culturing periods. The presence of HCV Rna, the expression of HCV antigens in cells and/or supernatant were examined by RTPCR, in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry respectively. RESULTS: The intracellular HCV Rna was first detected on d2 after infection and then could be intermittently detected in both cells and supernatant over a period of at least three months. The expression of HCV NS3,CP10 antigens could be observed in cells. The fresh cells could be infected by supernatant from cultured infected cells and the transmission of viral genome from HCV-infected 7721 cells to PBMCs was also observed. CONCLUSION: The hepatoma line 7721 is not only susceptible to HCV but also supports its long-term replication in vitro.
