Geochemical speciation and spatial distributions of phosphorus in surface sediments from the basin of the Marcus-Wake seamounts in the western Pacific Ocean

The concentrations of five forms of phosphorus(P)including exchangeable or loosely adsorbed P(Ex-P),Febound P(Fe-P),authigenic P(Auth-P),detrital P(Det-P),and organic P(Org-P)from the basin among the Marcus-Wake seamounts(19.4°–24°N,156.5°–161.5°E)in the western Pacific Ocean were quantified using a sequential extraction method(SEDEX)to investigate the distribution and sources of different P *** of total P(TP)varied from 14.0μmol/g to 44.1μmol/g,with an average of(32.4±7.7)μmol/*** phosphorus,which was the major chemical form of sedimentary P,ranged from 12.6μmol/g to 40.6μmol/g,while the concentration of Org-P varied between 1.38μmol/g and 5.18μmol/g,accounting for 83.4%–93.4%and 6.6%–16.6%of the TP,*** relative proportions of the five P species followed the order of Det-P>Auth-P>Org-P>Fe-P>*** average,Det-P was the major P sink resulted from the atmospheric input and accounted for approximately 58.9%±12.4%of the ***-P and Org-P comprised 22.8%±11.4%and11.5%±3.0%of the TP,respectively,while Fe-P accounted for 5.1%±2.6%.Lastly,Ex-P comprised 1.6%±0.3%of the ***-P exhibited a negative correlation with Fe-P and Auth-P,while Fe-P showed a positive correlation with *** indicated that the formation of Fe-P and Auth-P was at the expense of the regeneration or remineralization of Org-P during early *** concentrations of Det-P and Auth-P as well as a low ratio of total organic C to reactive P(TOC/Rea-P)suggested that the aeolian input may play a significant role in sedimentary P budget in the study ***,well-oxygenated bottom water and low sedimentation rate could be responsible for the low TOC/Org-P ratio in the sediment.

目的探讨三联造模法(氧嗪酸钾、次黄嘌呤以及30%酵母膏饲料联用)能否在ICR背景小鼠上建立稳定可靠的高尿酸血症模型,并采用阳性药非布司他对该造模方法进行评价。方法采用氧嗪酸钾、次黄嘌呤和30%酵母膏饲料,分别单用、两药或三药联用建立ICR小鼠高尿酸血症模型,检测血清尿酸、肌酐含量、黄嘌呤氧化酶(XOD)、尿酸氧化酶(UOX)活性,尿酸转运蛋白(URAT)1、葡萄糖转运蛋白(Glut)9、阴离子转运蛋白(OAT)1、ATP结合盒亚家族G成员(ABCG)2 mRNA水平等指标评价高尿酸血症模型成功与否。结果氧嗪酸钾单用对ICR小鼠血清尿酸水平没有明显改变,与30%酵母膏饲料和次黄嘌呤分别联用组血尿酸有升高趋势但无显著差异,而三联给药组在7 d时显著提高(P<0.01);同时,三联给药组XOD酶活性提升(P<0.001),UOX酶活性降低(P<0.001);URAT1、Glut9表达水平升高(P<0.05,P<0.001),OAT1、ABCG2表达水平降低(P<0.001);14 d的动态监测发现三联给药诱导的ICR小鼠血尿酸水平在7 d时达到峰值。此外,三联给药诱导的ICR小鼠高尿酸血症模型对阳性药物非布司他反应敏感,血尿酸水平显著下降(P<0.001)。结论通过三联给药的方法可以在7 d时稳定诱导ICR小鼠的高尿酸血症模型。

温暖的“大西洋水层”为北冰洋提供了重要的热量来源,是决定其海冰状况、冰架分布及周边冰盖稳定性的关键因素.通过分析M04孔沉积物中稀土元素（REE）的含量及其配分模式和Fe-Mn氧化物组分的钕同位素组成,探讨了晚更新世以来楚克奇陆架边缘REE的富集机制、εNd示踪水团性质的有效性以及“大西洋水层”的强弱变化.结果表明,间冰期Fe-Mn氧化物是溶解态REE沉淀的主要载体,但冰期缺少Fe-Mn氧化物的灰色层中也富集了大量的溶解态REE.同时,Fe-Mn氧化物萃取液中εNd介于—5.50～—8.74之间,呈现出冰期高,间冰期低的特点,有效指示了“大西洋水层”在楚克奇陆架边缘的活动.在间冰期,“大西洋水层”增强,为陆架输入的Fe2+和Mn2+创造了再氧化的条件;而在冰期,“大西洋水层”几乎退出了楚克奇陆架边缘.参照现代冰川溶水的化学组成,导致冰期M04孔Fe-Mn氧化物萃取液中REE富集和εNd显著正偏的环境要素,很可能是东西伯利亚冰盖的扩张及其冰下排水,而不是海冰排盐形成的“卤水”.这些发现进一步揭示了北冰洋REE的富集机制,论证了εNd示踪“大西洋水层”的有效性,并深化了对“大西洋水层”演变规律的认知.

啤酒多元化发展趋势下,非酿酒酵母已广泛用以改良啤酒口感与风味多样性,其中的德尔布有孢圆酵母(Torulaspora delbruecki)具有低产乙醇、高产酯的特性,能增加酒液的花果香味。为提升低醇啤酒的香气特征并优化品质,利用德尔布有孢圆酵母进行低醇啤酒发酵,通过添加淀粉酶增加其可利用糖含量,确定最佳的低醇啤酒配方为14°P麦芽汁添加100μL/L淀粉酶,产品酒精度为2.04~2.33%vol,综合感官评分达到7.04,其中感官品评有突出蜂蜜香气特征;利用气相色谱-嗅闻(gas chromatography-olfactometry,gC-O)联用技术和气相色谱-质谱(gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,gC-MS)对挥发性风味物质进行定性和定量分析,确认酒液中13种呈甜香、花香的香气活性化合物,共有6种的OAV大于1,确证对酒液特征蜂蜜香有贡献,其中β-苯乙醇、β-大马酮、呋喃酮、3-苯丙酸乙酯、γ-王内酯为蜂蜜香低醇啤酒的主要呈香物质。

Pore-water distribution and quantification of diffusive benthic fluxes of nutrients in the Huanghai and East China Seas sediments

The distribution of nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, phosphate and silicate in pore-water and their exchange between sediments and overlying waters （benthic flux） were determined at nine locations on the shelve of Huanghai and East China Seas. On the basis of the redox potential of sediments and nutrients distributions in the pore-waters, it is found that the benthic sediments are being in a suboxic to anoxic environment in the Huanghai and East China Seas. The nutrients distribution in the pore-waters is mainly controlled by the sediment environment, and ammonia is the major inorganic nitrogen in the pore-waters. On the basis of benthic fluxes of nutrients calculated us- ing Fick＇s first law, there is remarkable efflux of ammonia, dissolved inorganic nitrogen（DIN）, phosphate and silicate from the sediments to the overlying waters in the study area, and their benthic fluxes are 299.3-2 214.8, 404.4-2 159.5 , 5.5-18.8 and 541.3-1 781.6 μmol/（m^2·d） respectively, and perhaps they are the major source of dissolved inorganic nitrogen, phosphate and silicate for the overlying water. At most stations, the nitrate flux was from the overlying waters to the sediments, which suggests that suboxic organic matter decomposition via denitrification is dominated in the most area of Huanghai and East China Seas. High benthic fluxes appearing in the coastal area and relatively low benthic fluxes occurring in the shelf area are found and are consistent with pri- mary productivity zoning in the study area. On the other hand, the ammonia flux displays an exponential decrease with water depth increase and an exponential increase with the bottom water temperature. However, others do not display this trend.

Coral Ba/Ca and Mn/Ca Ratios as Proxies of Precipitation and Terrestrial Input at the Eastern Offshore Area of Hainan Island

Geochemical ratios in coral reef skeletons could be used as proxies to reconstruct past climatological and environmental records in data-poor regions. Using a 103-year data set(1902 to 2005), the annual variations in Ba/Ca and Mn/Ca ratios of Porites lutea skeletons at an eastern offshore area of Hainan Island(19?12'28.4''N, 110?37'38.8''E) were analyzed using inductively coupled plasma-optic emission spectrometry(ICP-OES). The analysis results showed that Ba/Ca ratios varied from a minimum of 3.120 μmol mol^(-1) in 1903 to a maximum of 10.064 μmol mol^(-1) in 1944, with an average of 5.256 μmol mol^(-1). Mn/Ca ratios varied from 0.206 to 5.708 μmol mol^(-1) with an annual average of 1.234 μmol mol^(-1), with peak values in 2001, 1964 and 1932, that correlated with strong rainfall events caused by typhoons. Variation in Ba/Ca and Mn/Ca ratios were compared with available river discharge and precipitation records, providing insight into past climatological events. Human activities and their indirect effects could impact the strength of the relationship between Ba/Ca and Mn/Ca ratios and observed precipitation and terrestrial input in the future.

The morphotectonics and its evolutionary dynamics of the central Southwest Indian Ridge (49° to 51°E)

The morphotectonic features and their evolution of the central Southwest Indian Ridge （SWIR） are dis- cussed on the base of the high-resolution flfll-coverage bathyraetric data on the ridge between 49°-51°E. A comparative analysis of the topographic features of the axial and flank area indicates that the axial topogra- phy is alternated by the ridge and trough with en echelon pattern and evolved under a spatial-temporal mi- gration especially in 49°-50.17°E. It is probably due to the undulation at the top of the mantle asthenosphere, which is propagating with the mantle flow. From 50.17° to 50.7°E, is a topographical high terrain with a crust much thicker than the global average of the oceanic crust thickness. Its origin should be independent of the spreading mechanism of ultra-slow spreading ridges. The large numbers of volcanoes in this area indicate robust magmatic activity and may be related to the Crozet hot spot according to RMBA （residual mantle Bouguer anomaly）. The different geomorphological feature between the north and south flanks of the ridge indicates an asymmetric spreading, and leading to the development of the OCC （oceanic core complex）. The tectonic activity of the south frank is stronger than the north and is favorable to develop the OCC. The first found active hydrothermal vent in the SWIR at 37°47＇S, 49°39＇E is thought to be associated with the detach- ment fault related to the OCC.

Clean air actions （CAAs） in China have been linked to considerable benefits in public ***,whether the beneficial effects of CAAs are equally distributed geographically is *** high-resolution maps of the distributions of major air pollutants (fine particulate matter[PM2.5]and ozone[O3]) and population,we aimed to track spatiotemporal changes in health impacts from,and geographic inequality embedded in,the reduced exposures to PM2.5and O3from 2013 to *** used a method established by the Global Burden of Diseases *** analyzing the changes in loss of life expectancy（LLE） attributable to PM2.5and O3,we calculated the gain of life expectancy （GLE） to quantify the health benefits of the air-quality ***,we assessed the geographic inequality embedded in the GLE using the Gini index （GI）.Based on risk assessments of PM2.5and O3,during the first stage of CAAs（2013 to 2017）,the mean GLE was 1.87 *** of the sum of the GLE was disproportionally distributed in about one quarter of the population exposed （GI 0.44）.During the second stage of CAAs（2017 to 2020）,the mean GLE increased to 3.94 months and geographic inequality decreased （GI 0.18）.According to our assessments,CAAs were enhanced,from the first to second stages,in terms of not only preventing premature mortality but also ameliorating health *** enhancements were related to increased sensitivity to the health effects of air pollution and synergic control of PM2.5and *** findings will contribute to optimizing future CAAs.

Converting intercalation-type cathode in spent lithium-ion batteries into conversion-type cathode

The widespread applications of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)generate tons of spent ***,recycling LIBs is of paramount importance in protecting the environment and saving the *** commercialized LIBs mostly adopt layered oxides such as LiCoO_(2)(LCO)or Lini_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(1-x-y)O_(2)(NMC)as the cathode *** the intercalation-type spent oxides into conversion-type cathodes(such as metal fluorides(MFs))offers a valid recycling strategy and provides substantially improved energy densities for ***,two typical Co-based cathodes,LCO and Lini_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)O_(2)(NMC622),in spent LIBs were successfully converted to CoF_(2) and(ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z))F_(2) cathodes by a reduction and fluorination *** as converted CoF_(2) and(ni_(x)Co_(y)Mn_(z))F_(2) delivered cell energy densities of 650 and 700 Wh/kg,*** atomic-level electron microscopy revealed that the used LCO and NMC622 were converted to highly phase pure Co metal and ni_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2) alloys in the used graphite-assisted reduction roasting,simultaneously producing the important product of Li_(2)CO_(3) using only environment friendly *** study provided a versatile strategy to convert the intercalation-type Co-based cathode in the spent LIBs into conversion-type MFs cathodes,which offers a new avenue to recycle the spent LIBs and substantially increase the energy densities of next generation LIBs.
