With the frequent occurrences of emergency events,emergency decision making(EDM)plays an increasingly significant role in coping with such situations and has become an important and challenging research area in recent *** is essential for decision makers to make reliable and reasonable emergency decisions within a short span of time,since inappropriate decisions may result in enormous economic losses and social *** handle emergency effectively and quickly,this paper proposes a new EDM method based on the novel concept of q-rung orthopair fuzzy rough(q-ROPR)set.A novel list of q-ROFR aggregation information,detailed description of the fundamental characteristics of the developed aggregation operators and the q-ROFR entropy measure that determine the unknown weight information of decision makers as well as the criteria weights are *** an algorithm is given to tackle the uncertain scenario in emergency to give reliable and reasonable emergency *** using proposed list of q-ROFR aggregation information all emergency alternatives are ranked to get the optimal *** this,the q-ROFR entropy measure method is used to determine criteria and experts’weights objectively in the EDM ***,through an illustrative example of COVID-19 analysis is compared with existing EDM *** results verify the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed methodology.

Static Reservoir Modeling, a Case Study from Early Cretaceous Yamama Formation, Southern Iraq

Constructing a static reservoir model or a 3D geological model is a widely used modern tool to employ subsurface information expose the setting and properties of hydrocarbon reservoirs. The current study attempts to build a 3D reservoir model of the Yamama Formation (an important oil reservoir in Southern Iraq), from digital logs data and drilling information. This would lead to a better understanding of the relationships between different reservoir elements, then expose many characteristics of the reservoir, such as the facies distribution and petrophysical properties. The data of the Yamama Formation (Early Cretaceous Carbonates) were taken from four wells of Gharraf Oilfield, Southern Iraq (GA-1, GA-2, GA-3, and GA-4). The adopted modeling approach consists of a series of steps starting with a preliminary analysis of data, followed by interpretation of these data, and terminated by geostatistical methods for building the structural model. The modeling was assisted by defining the top of each layer detected by wireline logs and final well reports of each studied well. The results of the study encompass four microfacies distributed between Inner Ramp and Mid Ramp environments. The followed 3D geological modeling scheme was capable to visualize the distribution of petrophysical properties, and the classification of Yamama Formation into several layers or reservoir units (Y1 to Y5), and thirteen subdivisions (minor units). The model could also define the places where effective porosity was enhanced. The process of Pillar Gridding, a step within the modeling, showed that the Yamama Formation is composed of two domes. The constructed model was helpful, based on the evaluation of petrophysical parameters, then to point out the most important reservoir zone (Zone Y3_top) that has Effective Porosity of (13.6%) and water saturation of around (10.6%).

Minimally invasive and open gallbladder cancer resections: 30-vs 90-day mortality

BACKGROUND:Minimally invasive surgery is increasingly used for gallbladder cancer *** mortality at 30 days is low,but 90-day mortality is ***:Using National Cancer Database(1998-2012),all resection patients were ***-and 90-day mortality rates were ***:A total of 36 067 patients were identified,19 139(53%) of whom underwent *** age was 71 years and 70.7% were ***-day mortality following surgical resection was 2.3-fold higher than 30-mortality(17.1% vs 7.4%).There was a statistically significant increase in 30-and 90-day mortality with poorly differentiated tumors,presence of lymphovascular invasion,tumor stage,incomplete surgical resection and low-volume centers(P<0.001 for all).Even for the 1885 patients who underwent minimally invasive resection between 2010 and 2012,the 90-day mortality was 2.8-fold higher than the 30-day mortality(12.0% vs 4.3%).CONCLUSIONS:Ninety-day mortality following gallbladder cancer resection is significantly higher than 30-day *** mortality is associated with tumor grade,lymphovascular invasion,tumor stage,type and completeness of surgical resection as well as type and volume of facility.

The patients with brain diseases(e.g.,Stroke and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS))are often affected by the injury of motor cortex,which causes a muscular *** this reason,they require rehabilitation with continuous physiotherapy as these diseases can be eased within the initial stages of the *** far,the popular control system for robot-assisted rehabilitation devices is only of two types which consist of passive and active ***,if there is a control system that can directly detect the motor functions,it will induce neuroplasticity to facilitate early motor *** this paper,the control system,which is a motor recovery system with the intent of rehabilitation,focuses on the hand organs and utilizes a brain-computer interface(BCI)*** final results depict that the brainwave detection for controlling pneumatic glove in real-time has an accuracy up to 82%.Moreover,the motor recovery system enables the feasibility of brainwave classification from the motor cortex with Artificial Neural Networks(ANN).The overall model performance reveals an accuracy up to 96.56%with sensitivity of 94.22%and specificity of 98.8%.Therefore,the proposed system increases the efficiency of the traditional device control system and tends to provide a better rehabilitation than the traditional physiotherapy alone.

Revalorization of CO2 for methanol production via ZnO promoted carbon nanofibers based Cu-ZrO2 catalytic hydrogenation

A series of novel carbon nanofibers(CNFs)based Cu-ZrO2 catalysts were synthesized by deposition precipitation *** investigate the influence of promoter,catalysts were loaded with 1,2,3 and 4 wt%ZnO and characterized by ICP-OES,HRTEM,BET,N2O chemisorption,TPR,XPS and CO2-TPD *** results revealed that physicochemical properties of the catalysts were strongly influenced by incorporation of ZnO to the parent *** surface area(SCu)and dispersion(DCu)were slightly decreased by incorporation of ZnO ***,SCuand DCuwere remarkably decreased when ZnO content was exceeded beyond 3 wt%.The catalytic performance was evaluated by using autoclave slurry reactor at a pressure and temperature of 30 bar and 180℃,*** promotion of CuZrO2/CNFs catalyst with 3 wt%of ZnO enhanced methanol synthesis rate from 32 to 45 g kg^-1 h^-***,with the ZnO promotion the selectivity to methanol was enhanced to 92%compared to 78%of the un-promoted Cu-ZrO2/CNFs catalyst at the expense of a lowered CO2 *** addition,the catalytic activity of this novel catalyst system for CO2 hydrogenation to methanol was compared with the recent literature data.

Efficient Co@Co_(3)O_(4) core-shell catalysts for photocatalytic water oxidation and its behaviors in two different photocatalytic systems

The photocatalytic performances of water oxidation were usually carried out in two different systems,photosensitizer and non-photosensitizer *** is few report about the same catalyst used in two systems and therefore it is of great significant to compare its role of the same catalyst in two systems and explore its different reaction *** this work,first 4 kinds of metallic Co microparticles were obtained by different reduction methods through hydrothermal processes,and Co@Co_(3)O_(4) coreshell microparticles(1-4)were obtained from these metallic Co microparticles oxidized in air or in the reacting solution in *** core-shell structure of 1 was characterized by a series of analytical techniques.1-4 exhibited excellent activities and stabilities in the[Ru(bpy)3]^(2+)/S_(2) O_(8)^(2-)/light system when they were used as catalysts for the photocata lytic water *** maximum O2 evolution of 1 after 20 min’s illumination was 98.2 pmol,the O_(2) yield was 65.5%,the initial turnover frequency was 6.6×10^(-3),the initial quantum efficiency(ΦQYinitial)was 15.0%higher than Co(8.3%),CoO(11.7%),Co_(2)O_(3)(1.2%),Co_(3)O_(4)(2.8%)and 5(2.2%).Even after the sixth run,the catalytic activity of recovered 1 still remained 85.1%of initial *** addition,the photocatalytic performances of 1 in the[Ru(bpy)_(3)]^(2+)/S_(2)O_(8)2-/light system and S_(2) O_(8)^(2-)/light system were compared for the first *** the nonphotosensitizer system,1 shows bifunctional roles and acts as optical absorption center and active catalytic site,and oxygen evolution rate is lower and it takes longer *** the photosensitizer system,1 only acts as a catalyst,the photosensitizer enhances the light absorption and promotes water oxidation reaction with higher O_(2) yield and QE,meanwhile the photosensitizer brings the defect of high cost and instability into the *** on the results the two different reaction mechanisms were deeply discussed.

Characterization of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon emissions from diesel engine retrofitted with selective catalytic reduction and continuously regenerating trap

Two after treatment units, selective catalytic reduction （SCR） and continuously regenerating trap （CRT）, were independently retrofitted to a diesel engine, with the objective to investigate their impact on the conversion/reduction （CR） of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons （PAHs）. The experiments were conducted under the European steady state cycle （ESC） first without any retrofits to get baseline emissions, and then with SCR and CRT respectively, on the same engine. The particulate matter （PM）-phase PAHs were trapped in fiberglass filters, whereas gas-phase PAHs were collected in cartridges, and then analyzed using a gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer （GC-MS）. Both PM-phase and gas-phase PAHs were greatly reduced with CRT showing respective CR of 90.7% and above 80%, whereas only gas-phase PAHs were abated in the case of SCR, with CR of above 75%. Lower molecular weight （LMW） PAHs were in abundance, while naphthalene exhibited a maximum relative contribution （RC） to LMW-PAHs for all three cases. Further, the CR of naphthalene and anthracene were increased with increasing catalyst temperature of SCR, most likely due to their conversion to solid particles. Moreover, the Benzo[a]Pyrene equivalent （BaPeq） of PAHs was greatly reduced with CRT, owing to substantial reduction of total PAHs.

Synthesis, Structure and Quantum Mechanical Calculations of Methyl 2-(5-((Quinolin-8-yloxy)-methyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-ylthio)-acetate

The title compound was synthesized by the base catalyzed reaction of 5-（（quinolin- 8-yloxy）methyl）-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2（3H）-thione with methyl chloroacetate. The structure was supported by the spectroscopic data and unambiguously confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. It crystallizes from a methanol solution in the triclinic space group Pi with unit cell dimensions a = 7.4509（9）, b = 10.2389（12）, c = 12.2299（15）A, a = 74.771（2）, β = 77.956（2）, 7 = 69.263（2）°, V = 834.98（17） A3 and Z = 2. In order to gain some valuable insights into the molecular structure, the quantum mechanical calculations were performed using both HF and time-dependent density functional theory at the B3LYP/6-31G（d,p） level. The molecular geometry from X-ray determination of the title compound in the ground state has been compared using the Hartree-Fock （HF） and density functional theory （DFT） with the 6-31G（d） basis set. The calculated results show that the DFT and HF can well reproduce the structure of the title compound. The energetic behavior of the title compound was examined using the B3LYP method with the 6-31G（d） basis set. The harmonic vibrational frequencies calculated have been compared with the experimental FTIR and FT-Raman spectra. The restricted Hartree-Fock and density functional theory-based nuclear magnetic resonance （NMR） calculation procedure was also performed, and it was used for assigning the 13C and 1H NMR chemical shifts of the title compound. Moreover, molecular electrostatic potential and thermodynamic parameters of the title compound were investigated by theoretical calculations.

Interpretation of Depositional Environment of Fusulinid Bearing Middle Permian Succession of Bolula and Khaja Ghar Formation, Bamian Zone, Central Afghanistan

The study area belongs to the north Afghanistan having complex tectonic setting, because of separation of the Afghanistan plate from Pangea in Early Permian and its subsequent northward journey and collision with Eurasian plate. The rock exposed in the area belongs to Paleozoic, Mesozoic to Quaternary with Proterozoic basement. Particularly the Permian succession of Afghanistan is rich in fusulinids (larger foraminifera), is age diagnostic, provides strong biostratigraphic tool for the Permian deposits, and has paleobiogeographic applications. The Bamian zone of north Afghanistan has good exposure to Middle Permian and is designated as Bolula and Khaja Ghar Formation is undertaken in this study. The Bolula Formation overlies the greenschist and basalts, composed mainly of carbonate rocks (Dolostone and limestone), having massive limestone, with some quartz and secondary calcite vein in the succession. The intermittent siliciclastic wedges within the carbonate succession are identified as input within the platform with tectonic pulses in the hinterland. Bolula and Khaja Ghar succession is divided into 8 lithofacies ( Facies A to H) and 6 carbonate Facies viz. Sparry calcites limestone, Micritic limestone, Fossiliferous limestones (Biomicrite), Peloidal limestone (Fecal pellets), Interlaminated micritic and sparite limestone, and sandy limestone (micritic). The Bolula and Khaja Ghar Formation in the Bamian area have deposited in a shallow marine shelf environment because of predominance of carbonate rocks and presence of shallow-water marine fossils including fusulinids, small benthic foraminifera, algae, bivalve, brachiopods fragments, corals and bryozoans, etc. In the Bamian zone the unconformity between Upper Carboniferous and Lower Permian;indicates extensive gap in sedimentation, traceable to many parts of Afghanistan as unconformity or tectonic contact is considered here as sequence boundary.
