The study of the influence of the cobalt content on the cyclic stability of superelasticity(SE)was carried out in quenched ni_(44)Fe_(19)Ga_(27)Co_(10)and ni_(39)Fe_(19)Ga_(27)Co_(15)(at.%)single crystals under *** is shown that an increase in the cobalt content leads to embrittlement of the material and a decrease in the cyclic stability of *** ni_(44)Fe_(19)Ga_(27)Co_(10)single crystals,during the first 20 loading/unloading cycles,the elastic energy relaxation occurs along with the formation of dislocations and residual martensite,which leads to a decrease in critical stress of martensite formation and in stress *** the next 80 cycles,SE becomes more *** is accompanied by a slight change in the *** the contrary,ni_(39)Fe_(19)Ga_(27)Co_(15)single crystals are characterized by high-strength characteristics,which lead to high SE stability during the first 20 loading/unloading ***,after 20 cycles,a strong degradation of the SE is observed through the formation of microcracks,which ultimately leads to the destruction of the *** results of work are replicable for cycling at different temperatures from all temperature ranges of superelasticity.

A study of the inelastic scattering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 MeV on the nuclei of oxygen,phosphorus,and sulfur was performed at the TAnGRA facility at JInR(Dubna).The experiment aimed to refine existing data and obtain new data on the yields and angular distributions ofγ-quanta emitted by the studied nuclei due to neutron-induced nuclear reactions using the tagged neutron *** types of detector systems were used to registerγ-***γ-ray yields were measured using a high-purity germanium(HPGe)*** angular distributions ofγ-rays were obtained using a system of 18 scintillation detectors based on bismuth germanite Bi_(4)Ge_(3)O_(12)(BGO)located around the *** performed experiments measured the yields of two transitions for the reaction of tagged neutrons with 16O,nine transitions for the reaction with ^(31)P,and nine transitions for the reaction with ^(32)S for the first *** angular anisotropy of theγ-radiation accompanying the inelastic scattering of neutrons with an energy of 14.1 MeV on ^(31)P nuclei was also measured for the first time.

The influence of intergalactic magnetic fields on the strong gravitational lensing of blazar secondary gamma radiation is ***,two cases of strong gravitational lensing of blazar gamma-radiation are known,where radiation is deflected by galaxies on the line of sight between the blazars and *** magnetic field can affect the movements of electron-positron pairs generated by primary radiation,thereby changing the directions of secondary gamma *** modifies the equation of the gravitational lens and leads to the dependence of the observed signal in the secondary gamma radiation on the energy of photons and magnetic ***,it is possible,in principle,to estimate the intergalactic magnetic fields from the time delay of signals,from the angular position of images(for future high-resolution gamma-ray telescopes)or from the shape of the observed energy *** method is demonstrated by the example of the blazar B0218+*** this case,however,it is not possible to obtain useful constraints due to the large distances to the blazar and lens *** result is only a lower limit on the magnetic field B>2×10^(−17)G,which is weaker than other existing ***,future discoveries of lensed blazars may provide more favorable opportunities for measuring the magnetic fields,especially with the help of a new generation of gamma-ray telescopes such as e-ASTROGAM,GECAM,and SVOM as well as future gamma-ray telescopes with a high angular resolution,∼0.1″.

The gradient nanostructure is machined on the aluminum(Al)alloy by the two-dimensional ultrasonic surface burnishing process(2D-USBP).The mechanism of why the gradient nanostructure enhances wear resistance is *** mechanical properties and microstructure characterization for the gradient nanostructure are performed by operating a nanoindenter,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD).Dry wear tests are performed on the samples before and after machining to evaluate the wear resistance and *** effect of the gradient nanostructure on the wear resistance is explored by developing the crystal plasticity(CP)finite element and molecular dynamics(MD)*** characterization results show that the 2D-USBP sample prepared a gradient structure of~600μm thick on the aluminum surface,increasing the surface hardness from 1.13 to 1.71 GPa and reducing the elastic modulus from 78.84 to 70.14 *** optimization of the surface microstructure and the increase of the mechanical properties effectively enhance the wear resistance of the sample,with 41.20%,39.07%,and 54.58% of the wear scar areas for the 2D-USBP treated samples to the original samples under 5,10,and 15 n loads,*** gradient nanostructure hinders the slip of dislocations inside the sample during the wear process and reduces the size and scope of plastic deformation;meanwhile,the resistance to deformation,adhesion,and crack initiation and propagation of the sample surface is improved,resulting in enhanced wear resistance.

This study assessed the effect of patch scarification and mounding on the physical properties of the root layer and the success of tree planting in various types of *** study was conducted on 12 forest sites in taiga forests of the European part of Russia.A total of 54 plots were set up to assess seedling survival;root collar diameter,height,and heigh increment were measured for 240 seedlings to assess *** the rooting layer,240 soil samples were taken to determine physical *** study showed that soil treatment methods had no effect on bulk density and total porosity in Cladina ***,reduced soil moisture was noted,particularly in mounds,resulting in increased *** Myrtillus sites,there were increased bulk density,reduced soil moisture,and total porosity in the *** treatment in Polytrichum sites resulted in reduced soil moisture and increased aeration *** the Myrtillus and Polytrichum sites,patch scarification had no effects on physical *** Polytrichum sites,survival rates,heights,and heigh increments of bareroot norway spruce seedlings in mounds were higher than in patches;however,the same did not apply to *** Cladina and Myrtillus sites,there was no difference in growth for bareroot and containerised seedlings with different soil *** conditions and soil types should be considered when applying different soil treatment methods to ensure high survival rates and successful seedling growth.

Many high-precision space missions need thrusters to produce thrust with low noise to compensate for disturbances and ensure satellite platform stability. Microwave ion thruster is characterized with a wide thrust range and potential for these missions. A cost-effective and accurate mathematical model is crucial for mHz-frequency thrust noise analysis and feedback controller design. The Particle-In-Cell(PIC) and global models are two common simulation tools. The PIC model is characterized with high accuracy but huge computation cost, which is difficult to analyze long-time performance characteristics. now, the global model is only used for the discharge chamber with low accuracy and cannot reflect ion extraction properties. In this paper, an integrative mathematical model is built for a 1-cm microwave ion thruster and can reflect ion beamlet divergence and impingement on the Accelerator Grid(AG). Simulation results show good agreement with experiments at 0.06 sccm. However, the model demonstrates worse consistency with experiments when the flux increases to 0.1 sccm, which may be because the influence of neutral gas on the Electron Cyclotron Resonance(ECR) is not considered in the model. A long-time(1000 s) simulation is conducted with this model under 35 μn. It takes 3 hrs, and the thrust noise reaches 1 μn/Hz^(0.5) at 1 mHz.

Formaldehyde is a pollutant that significantly affects the indoor air ***,conventional remediation approaches can be challenging to deal with low-concentration formaldehyde in an indoor *** this study,Photocatalysts of Ag/graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)n_(4))/ni with 3D reticulated coral structure were prepared by thermal polymerization and liquid phase photo-deposition,using nickel foam(nF)as the *** demonstrated that when the Ag concentration was 3%,and the relative humidity was 60%,the ni/Ag/g-C_(3)n_(4)showed the maximum degradation rate of formaldehyde at 90.19%under visible light irradiation,and the formaldehyde concentration after degradation was lower than the Hygienic standard stated by the Chinese *** porous structure of ni/Ag/g-C_(3)n_(4)and the formation of Schottky junctions promoted the Adsorption efficiency and degradation of formaldehyde,while the nickel foam carrier effectively promoted the desorption of degradation ***,the degradation rate was only reduced by3.4%after 16 recycles,the three-dimensional porous structure extended the lifetime of the *** study provides a new strategy for the degradation of indoor formaldehyde at low concentrations.

Let M=S^(n)/Γand h be a nontrivial element of finite order p inπ_(1)(Μ),where the integers n,p≥2,Γis a finite abelian group which acts freely and isometrically on the n-sphere and therefore M is diffeomorphic to a compact space *** this paper,we prove that there are infinitely many non-contractible closed geodesics of class[h]on the compact space form with C^(r)-generic Finsler metrics,where 4≤r≤∞.The conclusion also holds for Cr-generic Riemannian metrics for 2≤r≤∞.The proof is based on the resonance identity of non-contractible closed geodesics on compact space forms.

Lithium–oxygen battery with ultrahigh theoretical energy density is considered a highly competitive next-generation energy storage device,but its practical application is severely hindered by issues such as difficult decomposition of discharge products at ***,we have developed n-doped carbon anchored atomically dispersed Ru sites cathode catalyst with open hollow structure(h-RunC)for Lithium–oxygen *** one hand,the abundance of atomically dispersed Ru sites can effectively catalyze the formation and decomposition of discharge products,thereby greatly enhancing the redox *** the other hand,the open hollow structure not only enhances the mass activity of atomically dispersed Ru sites but also improves the diffusion efficiency of catalytic ***,the excellent activity from atomically dispersed Ru sites and the enhanced diffusion from open hollow structure respectively improve the redox kinetics and cycling stability,ultimately achieving a high-performance lithium–oxygen battery.
