rice stem borer(Chilo agamemnon Bles.)is a primary insect pest of rice and is a major limiting factor to rice *** for insect-resistant crop varieties has been an economic way of integrated pest management(IPM)as it offers a viable and ecologically acceptable *** study was aimed to evaluate rice genotypes for their resistance against rice stem *** parental genotypes with twenty one F1 crosses were evaluated for genotypic variation in field *** of variance revealed significant differences for the studied traits in almost all crosses and *** addition,the mean squares of parents versus their crosses were signifi-cant for stem borer resistance and other associated ***,both general combining ability(GCA)and specific combining ability(SCA)variances were highly significant for all characters studied in the F1 *** on GCA,4 genotypes(Sakha101,Gz6903-3-4-2-1,Gz9577-4-1-1 and Hassawi)exhibited highly significant negative values for stem borer resistance(–0.53,–1.06,–0.18 and–0.49,respectively)indicating they are the best combiners for stem borer *** on SCA analysis,nine cross combinations showed highly significant negative effects for stem borer ***,the cross Giza178Hassawi was the best combination with significantly highest value for early *** addition,seven crosses showed highly significant negative SCA for plant height *** the other hand,for panicle length,number of primary branches/panicle,panicle weight and 1000-grain weight,seven,four,eight and six crosses showed highly significant positive SCA,*** result further revealed that the non-additive dominance genetic variance was higher than the additive variance for all evaluated traits indicating that non-additive genetic variances have a role in their *** broad-sense heritability estimates were high for all the studied *** stem borer resistance was significantly correl

This paper discusses the design of a wideband low noise amplifier（LnA） in which specific architecture decisions were made in consideration of system-on-chip implementation for radio-astronomy *** LnA design is based on a novel ultra-low noise InGaAs/InAlAs/InP *** and non-linear modelling of this pHEMT has been used to design an LnA operating from 2 to 4 GHz.A common-drain in cascade with a common source inductive degeneration,broadband LnA topology is proposed for wideband *** proposed configuration achieved a maximum gain of 27 dB and a noise figure of 0.3 dB with a good input and output return loss（S11〈—10 dB,S22〈—11 dB）.This LnA exhibits an input 1-dB compression point of-18 dBm,a third order input intercept point of 0 dBm and consumes 85 mW of power from a 1.8 V supply.

Development and Validation of LC-MS/MS Method for the Quantification of Chiral Separated r-Bicalutamide in Human Plasma

A simple, rapid, specific and precise liquid chromatography—tandem mass spectrophotometric (LC-MS/MS) method was developed and validated for the quantification of chiral separated r-bicalutamide from S-bicalutamide, in human plasma. Topiramate (TPM) was used as internal standard, added to plasma sample prior to extraction using t-butyl methyl ether (TBME). Chromatographic separation was achieved on CHIrALPAK AD-rH column (150 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) with acteonitrile: 0.1% formic acid Buffer (50:50 v/v) as an isocratic mobile phase with a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1. Quantitation was performed by transition of 429.0 → 255.0 (m/z) for r-bicalutamide and 338.1 → 77.8 (m/z) for topiramate. The lower limit of quantitation was 20 ng·mL-1with a 100 μL plasma sample. The concentrations of eight working standards showed linearity between 20 to 3200 ng·mL-1(r2≥ 0.9990). Chromatographic separation was achieved within 6 min, compared to the 15 min of previous methods. The average extraction recoveries of 3 quality control concentrations were 98.56% for r-bicalutamide and 92.42% for topiramate. The coefficient of variation was ≤15% for intra- and inter-batch assays. Therefore a rapid, specific and sensitive LC-MS/MS method for the quantification of r-bicalutamide in human plasma was developed and validated can be used in the bioequivalence study of this drug.

Carbon nitride Cn. thin films have been deposited on polycrystalline β-Si3n4 substrates by un-balanced magnetron sputtering in a nitrogen discharge. Both the film deposition rate and the nitrogen concentration decrease with substrate temperature increase in the range of 100~400℃The maximum of nitrogen content is 40 at. pct. raman spectroscopy and atomic force mi-croscopy were used to characterize the bonding, microstructure and surface roughness of the films. nanoindentation experiments exhibit a higher hardness of 70 GPa and an extremely elas-tic recovery of 85% at higher substrate temperature.

The optimizationfield has grown tremendously,and new optimization techniques are developed based on statistics and evolutionary ***-fore,it is necessary to identify a suitable optimization technique for a particular *** this work,Black Widow Optimization(BWO)algorithm is intro-duced to minimize the cost functions in order to optimize the Multi-Area Economic Dispatch(MAED).The BWO is implemented for two different-scale test systems,comprising 16 and 40 units with three and four *** performance of BWO is compared with the available optimization techniques in the literature to demonstrate the strategy’s *** show that the optimized cost for four areas with 16 units is found to be 7336.76$/h,whereas it is 121,589$/h for four areas with 40 units using *** is also noted that optimization algo-rithms other than BWO require higher cost *** best-optimized solution for emission is achieved at 9.2784e+06 tones/h,and it is observed that there is a considerable difference between the worst and the best ***,the suggested technique is implemented for large-scale test systems successfully with high precision,and rapid convergence occurs in MAED.

This paper investigates the problem of oblique hydro magnetic stagnation point flow of an electrically conducting Casson fluid over stretching sheet embedded in a doubly stratified medium in the presence of thermal radiation and heat source/absorption with first order chemical *** is assumed that the fluid impinges on the wall *** variables were used to convert the partial differential equations to ordinary differential *** transformed ordinary differential equations are solved numerically using runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method with shooting *** is observed that a boundary layer is formed when the stretching velocity of the surface is less than the in viscid free stream velocity at a point decreases with increase in the non-newtonian rheology *** augmentation of the temperature is observed with the magnetic parameter,heat source parameter and thermal radiation parameter while a reverse effect with thermal stratification number,Prandtl number and the velocity ratio *** of Skin friction coefficient,nusselt number and Sherwood number on the flow configurations for different values of pertinent parameters are portrayed graphically and *** results are compared with the published results and are found to be in good agreement with previously published results as special cases of present *** mass concentration is seen to be decrease with Schmidt number,chemical reaction parameter and solutal stratification number.
