Background:Accumulatingα-synuclein(α-syn)aggregates in neurons and glial cells are the staples of many synucleinopathy disorders,such as Parkinson’s disease(PD).Since brain adenosine becomes greatly elevated in ageing brains and chronic adenosine A1 receptor(A1R)stimulation leads to neurodegeneration,we determined whether adenosine or A1R receptor ligands mimic the action of known compounds that promoteα-syn aggregation(e.g.,the amphetamine analogue 2-aminoindan)or inhibitα-syn aggregation(e.g.,Rasagiline metabolite 1-aminoindan).In the present study,we determined whether adenosine,A1R receptor agonist n^(6)-Cyclopentyladenosine(CPA)and antago-nist 8-cyclopentyl-1,3-dipropylxanthine(DPCPX)could directly interact withα-syn to modulateα-syn aggregation and neurodegeneration of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra(Sn).Methods:nanopore analysis and molecular docking were used to test the binding properties of CPA and DPCPX withα-syn in ***-Dawley rats were administered with 7-day intraperitoneal injections of the A1R ligands and 1-and 2-aminoindan,and levels ofα-syn aggregation and neurodegeneration were examined in the Sn pars compacta and hippocampal regions using confocal imaging and Western ***:Using nanopore analysis,we showed that the A1R agonists(CPA and adenosine)interacted with the n-terminus ofα-syn,similar to 2-aminoindan,which is expected to promote a“knot”conformation andα-syn *** contrast,the A1R antagonist DPCPX interacted with the n-and C-termini ofα-syn,similar to 1-aminoindan,which is expected to promote a“loop”conformation that preventsα-syn *** docking studies revealed that adenosine,CPA and 2-aminoindan interacted with the hydrophobic core ofα-syn n-terminus,whereas DPCPX and 1-aminoindan showed direct binding to the n-and C-terminal hydrophobic *** imaging and Western blot analyses revealed that chronic treatments with CPA alone or in combination with 2-aminoindan increasedα-syn

The exposed calcareous rocky area of the Abu Qir Headland,east of Alexandria,Egypt which range from coarse grains,through pebbles,cobbles,and boulders to rocky platforms,was signifi cantly colonized by sclerobionts(epibionts and endobionts).The epibiont species diversity was comparatively higher than that of *** communities included bryozoans(the anascan-grade cheilostome Bifl ustra savartii),serpulid(Hydroides elegans,Spirobranchus ***,Vermiliopsis striaticeps and Protula or Apomatus)and spirorbid(Spirorbis)wormtubes,and balanoid barnacles(Amphibalanus amphitrite,Balanus trigonus,and Perforatus perforatus).The cheilostome bryozoan colonies,which developed extensive sheets,proliferated on the study rocky shore either encrusting the bioeroded basement directly,or encrusting other epilithic taxa,particularly balanoid barnacles and serpulid *** displayed a remarkable marginal competitive interaction(overgrowth and stand-off)for space on the study rocky *** the other hand,endobionts were not well represented on the studied rocky shore *** was possible to identify three ichnotaxa:Gastrochaenolites,Maeandropolydora,and *** fi ndings documented represent a signifi cant contribution to our knowledge of sclerobionts composition,sequence of their colonization and/or bioerosion,and their mutual relationships on the intertidal rocky shore of the Abu Qir Headland.

研究在医用Ti6Al4V合金上采用阴极电弧蒸发沉积制备的纳米晶TiAln涂层的表面特性和体外腐蚀性能。采用XRD和FE-SEM对其结构和表面形貌进行分析,采用显微压痕法表征其表面的显微硬度,在模拟体液和人工唾液中进行体外腐蚀实验。结果表明:与无涂层合金相比,沉积TiAln涂层后合金的表面硬度提高,为44.4 GPa,弹性模量为419.9 GPa,塑性变形能力增强,润湿角由(70.61±1.25)°增大到(86.27±2.2)°。生物腐蚀实验表明,沉积TiAln涂层后,Ti6Al4V合金的腐蚀电位显著正移约150 m V,腐蚀电流密度显著降低约一个数量级,电荷转移电阻提高,证明合金的耐腐蚀性提高。与无涂层的合金相比,沉积TiAln涂层后合金的表面性能、力学性能和耐腐蚀性能均有所提高。

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is characterized as a disease caused by a novel coronavirus known as severe acute respiratory coronavirus syndrome 2(SARS-CoV-2;formerly known as 2019-nCoV).In December 2019,COVID-19 began to appear in a few *** the beginning of 2020,it had spread to most countries across the *** is when education challenges began to *** COVID-19 crisis led to the closure of thousands of schools and universities all over the *** a situation requires reliance on e-learning and robotics education for students to continue their studies to avoid the mingling between people and *** relation to this alternative learning solution,the present study was conducted.A systematic literature review on educational robotics(ER)keywords between 2015–2020 was carried out for the purpose to review a total of 2253 articles from the selected sources;Scopus(452),Taylor&Francis(311),Science Direct(427),IEEE Xplore(221),and Web of Science(842).This review procedure was labelled as Taxonomy *** ltering Taxonomy 1,it was found that 98 scientic articles formed the so-called Taxonomy II that was categorized into six categories:(i)Robotics concepts,(ii)Device,(iii)Robotic applications,(iv)Manufacturing robots,(v)Robotics analysis,and(vi)Education/*** this study,only 35 articles in this specic eld were selected,of which were then assigned into three categories:(i)Application,(ii)Platform,and(iii)*** results show that the application category carries 17.4%,platform 20%,and education 22.85%.This study serves as the application platform to help students,academics,and researchers.

This paper presents a fast adaptive iterative algorithm to solve linearly separable classification problems in R *** each iteration,a subset of the sampling data （n-points,where n is the number of features） is adaptively chosen and a hyperplane is constructed such that it separates the chosen n-points at a margin and best classifies the remaining *** classification problem is formulated and the details of the algorithm are ***,the algorithm is extended to solving quadratically separable classification *** basic idea is based on mapping the physical space to another larger one where the problem becomes linearly *** illustrations show that few iteration steps are sufficient for convergence when classes are linearly *** nonlinearly separable data,given a specified maximum number of iteration steps,the algorithm returns the best hyperplane that minimizes the number of misclassified points occurring through these *** with other machine learning algorithms on practical and benchmark datasets are also presented,showing the performance of the proposed algorithm.

Objective: To determine the effects of toll-like receptor 2(TLR-2) agonist, Pam3 CSK4, on cellular and humoral immune response against recombinant Mycobacterium bovis bacille Calmette-Guérin(rBCG) expressing the C-terminus of merozoite surface protein-1 of Plasmodium ***: Six groups of mice(n=6 per group) received intraperitoneal phosphate buffered saline T80(PBS-T80), BCG or rBCG in the presence or absence of Pam3 CSK4. Enzymelinked immunosorbent assay was carried out to measure serum total IgG, IgG1, IgG2 a, and Ig G2 b production. Spleens were also harvested and splenocytes were co-cultured with rBCG antigen for in vitro determination of IL-4 and IFn-γ via enzyme-linked immunosorbent ***: The production of total IgG and the isotype IgG1, IgG2 a and IgG2 b was significantly higher in rBCG-immunised mice than in the BCG and PBS-T80-immunised mice, and Pam3 CSK4 further enhanced their productions. A similar pattern was also observed in IFn-γ production. Moreover, there was no significant difference in IL-4 production in all groups either in the presence or absence of Pam3 ***: We present evidence of the adjuvant effects of TLR-2 agonist in enhancing the production of total IgG, IgG1, IgG2 a, IgG2 b, as well as IFn-γ in response to rBCG. However, the presence or absence of Pam3 CSK4 had no effect on IL-4 production.

Gosper introduced the functions sinq z and cosq z as q-analogues for the trigonometric functions sin z and cos z respectively. He stated a variety of identities involving these two q-trigonometric functions along with certain constants denoted by Πqn （n ∈ n）. Gosper noticed that all his formulas on these constants have more than two of the Πqn. So, it is natural to raise the question of establishing identities involving only two of the Πqn. In this paper, our main goal is to give examples of such formulas in only two Πqn.

OBJECTIVE： Tamarix articulata Vahl. （Tamaricaceae） is a medicinal plant commonly used in Morocco for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases. The objective of this study was to evaluate the hypolipidemic activity of aqueous extract of T. articulata in normal and streptozotocin （STZ）-induced diabetic rats. Phytochemical analysis as well as determination of polyphenol and flavonoid contents in the aqueous extract of T. articulata was performed. METHODS： The effects of oral administration of aqueous extract of T. articulata （5 mg/kg） on the plasma total cholesterol, triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol （HDL-c） concentrations were measured in both normal and STZ-induced diabetic rats. Total phenolic content of the aqueous extract was determined by Folin-Ciocalteu method. In addition, determination of flavonoid content was performed using colorimetric AICI3 method. RESULTS： A single oral administration in diabetic rats induced a significant increase in the HDL-c concentration after 6 h of treatment with T. articulata （5 mg/kg）. The results also demonstrated that the aqueous extract of T. articulata produced a significant decrease of serum total cholesterol after repeated oral administration in diabetic rats （P 〈 0.01）. The total polyphenol and flavonoid contents of T. articulata aqueous extract were equal to 102.50 mg of gallic acid equivalent per gram of extract and 54.83 mg of quercetin equivalent per gram of extract, respectively. COnCLUSIOn： According to preliminary phytochemical screening of the aerial part of T. articulata, severa classes of chemicals have been found, such as polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins, cyanidins （flavones, catechols）, mucilage, sesquiterpenes, terpenoids and carbohydrates. In conclusion, T. articulata exhibits a hypolipidemic effect in diabetic rats and its beneficial role as hypolipidemic agent should be evaluated in clinical studies.
