In this study,the stress-modulated energy storage properties of lead-free polycrystalline Ba_(0.85)Ca_(0.15)Zr_(0.1)Ti_(0.9)O_(3)was investigated as a function of temperature from 25℃to 55℃.The externally applied uniaxial compressive stress of-160 MPa increased the recoverable energy storage density by 226%to a maximum value of 274 mJ/cm^(3),in addition to enhancing the energy storage efficiency by approximately 10%to a value of 88.2%.The macroscopic mechanical constitutive behavior is presented as well as the stress-dependent dielectric and ferroelectric properties and the Rayleigh behavior in order to elucidate the effect of stress on the energy storage ***,the stress-induced tailoring of energy storage performance can be utilized for other nonlinear dielectric ceramics to tune their extrinsic polarization mechanisms to significantly enhance the recoverable energy density and reduce the hysteretic losses.

The quality of surface waters is often altered by the presence of bacteria of faecal origin, as a result of untimely discharge of solid and liquid waste from households. The Sonfonia Lake located in the commune of Ratoma is under the influence of various forms of pollution resulting for the most part from anthropic activities. Field visits, interviews with resource persons and bacteriological analysis were carried out to assess the level of this pollution. Two water sampling campaigns were carried out during the low-water period and two others during the flood period of 2021. The comparison of the levels of faecal contamination bacteria in the present study with a previous one carried out in 2018 on the waters of the same lake, indicates an increase in the level of faecal coliforms and faecal streptococci that exceed the indicator values recommended by the WHO. These results show that Lake Sonfonia is polluted. This could be related to the increase in anthropogenic and demographic activities during the last four years. On the other hand, the analysis of the results showed the absence of pathogenic germs such as salmonella. The Mann-Whitney U statistical test was used to compare the value of the means of each of the variables observed during the two seasons.

Increasing demand for better throughput and performance has motivated designers to come up with more sophisticated processors with innovative designs. Such designs for multicore architectures offer large amount of parallelism which is often underutilized and thus becomes overhead and liability. Due to these advancements, there has been a exponential increase in power consumption and heat dissipation of computing devices. Under these circumstances, an ideal system would be a reconfigurable system that can switch off all underutilized resources and work with only required ones. There is a need of reconfigurable computing devices and processors that are smart enough to configure themselves dynamically on runtime to find balance between throughput and power-consumption. This paper proposes a novel fuzzy logic based Dynamic voltage and frequency scaling(DVFS)and power-gating enabled controller which is capable of reducing power-consumption without affecting throughput and overall performance of the system. The design is implemented on Intel processor using Ubuntu as an operating system. Implementation results show that proposed Fuzzy logic controller(FLC) reduces power-consumption upto 40% by reconfiguring the processor dynamically without compromising the throughput.

The structural and magnetic properties of essentially phase pure AlFe2B2prepared by arc melting were compared with a sample containing impurities. Analysis was carried out by means of synchrotron X-ray diffraction, magnetic measurements and M?ssbauer spectroscopy. The analysis of synchrotron X-ray diffraction data confirmed the orthorhombic structure of space group Cmmm for AlFe2B2with Al13Fe4as main impurity phase. The magnetic measurements revealed an unsaturated ferromagnetic state in AlFe2B2with a transition temperature（Tc） of 286 k. Isothermal magnetization measurment at 5 k gave a saturation magnetization of 0.7 μB per Fe atom while Arrott plots establish the second order nature of ferromagnetic transition. The thermal evolution of M?ssbauer spectra confirmed the ferromagnetic nature of this material revealing an hyperfine field of 73 kOe and an isomer shift of 0.46 mm/s at 100 k. The M?ssbauer spectra of a phase pure sample was compared with the one containing impurity phases. It is suggested that the low temperature paramagnetic contribution in M?ssbauer spectra of phase pure material may have its origin in some intrinsic phenomena arising from defects or inhomogeneities in crystal structure.

In the uncertainties within which the worldwide food security lies nowadays,the agricultural industry is raising a crucial need for being equipped with the state-of-the-art technologies for a more efficient,climate-resilient and sustainable *** traditional production methods have to be revisited,and opportunities should be given for the innovative solutions henceforth brought by big data analytics,cloud computing and internet of things(IoT).In this context,we develop an optimized tinyML-oriented model for an active machine learningbased greenhouse microclimate management to be integrated in an on-field *** design an experimental strawberry greenhouse from which we collect multivariate climate data through installed *** obtained values'combinations are labeled according to a five-action multi-label control strategy,then used to prepare a machine learning-ready *** dataset is used to train and five-fold cross-validate 90 Multi-Layer Perceptrons(MLPs)with varied hyperparameters to select the most performant–yet optimized–model instance for the addressed *** multi-label control approach enables designing highly scalable models with reduced computational complexity,comprising only n control neurons instead of(1+∑n.k.1Cn.k.neurons(usually generated from a classic single-label approach from n input variables).Our final selected model incorporates 2 hidden layers with 7 and 8 neurons respectively and 151 parameters;it scored a mean accuracy of 97%during the cross-validation phase,then 96%on our supplementary test *** model enables an intelligent and autonomous greenhouse management with the less required *** can be efficiently deployed in microcontrollers within real world operating conditions.

Performance Analysis of a Rooftop Hybrid Connected Solar PV System

In the present work,a 5-kW hybrid PV solar system was installed on the roof of a house in Diyala,Iraq(33.77°n,45.14°E elevation 44 m).The system consists of two strings,where each string consists of nine polycrystalline PV modules with 355 Wp in series,and the two strings are in *** energy storage system(ESS)consists of two parallel strings,each with four 12 V and 150 Ah tubular deep cycle batteries in series.A hybrid inverter of 5 kW rated power was operated in different *** results showed that May’s monthly energy consumption was about 822.9 and 1085 kWh,*** percentage distribution of the DC energy produced was about 1%system energy losses,27.9%was used to charge the ESS,34.3%was used to feed the grid,and the remaining 37.64%was used to share the *** energy percentage sharing the load was 16.67%from ESS,33.33%from the PV system,and 50%*** average daily reference,array,and final yields were 6.07,4.327,and 3.991 h/day,*** average array and load efficiencies were 12.3%and 92.24%,with the performance ratio at 65.4%.
