Chron.c hepatitis.B caus.s.a liver dis.as. characterized by in.lammation.of the liver paren.hyma. The aim of this.s.udy was.to in.es.igate the evolution.of biological parameters.in.patien.s.treated with Ten.fovir for chron.c B in.ection.at the Commun. V referral health cen.er in.Bamako. We obtain.d a prevalen.e of 14.15%. The mos. repres.n.ed age group was.31 - 40 years. with 36.8%. The s.x ratio was.1.44 in.favour of men. Viral load was.un.etectable after 18 mon.hs.of treatmen. in.25 patien.s.(42.37%). Ten.fovir, the 1s.-lin. drug in.Mali, is.effective on.the biological parameters.mon.tored in.patien.s.
