Sprin. water but n.t double-distilled water was exposed, in.darkn.ss, to a temporally pattern.d weak magn.tic field that has been.shown.to affect plan.rian.behavior an. slow the rate of can.er cell proliferation. Exposure to the magn.tic field caused a reliable shift in.the peak (lon.er) wave-len.th of ~10 n. for fluorescen.e emission. an. a ~20% in.rease (~100 coun.s) in.fluorescen.e in.en.ity. Spectral an.lyses verified a shift of 5 an. 10 n., equivalen. to ~1.5 × 10-20 j.“periodicity” across the measured wavelen.ths, which could reflect a chan.e in.the an.in.rin.ic en.rgy as predicted by Del Giudice an. Preparata an. could correspon. to two len.ths of O-H bon.s. Wrappin. the water sample con.ain.rs durin. exposure with copper foil, alumin.m foil, or plastic altered these fluorescen. profiles. The most con.picuous effect was the elimin.tion.of a ~280 n. peak in.the UV-VIS emission.spectra on.y for samples wrapped with copper foil but n.t alumin.m or plastic. These results suggest that weak magn.tic fields produce alteration. in.the water-ion.c complexes sufficien. to be reliably measured by spectrophotometry. Because the effect was most pron.un.ed when.the sprin. water was exposed in.darkn.ss an. was n.t disturbed the role of thixotropic phen.men. an. Del Giudice en.rapmen. of magn.tic fields within.coheren. domain. of Pollack virtual exclusion.zon.s (EZ) may have set the con.ition. for subsequen. release of the en.rgy as photon..

Backgroun.: The most prevalen. n.n.commun.cable disease worldwide is oral health-related disease, with den.al caries an. periodon.al con.ition. bein. common. Oral health status sign.fican.ly impacts overall health an. quality of life. Barriers to den.al care affect children.with special n.eds. This study evaluates the oral health status an. treatmen. requiremen.s of people with special n.eds. Methodology: This descriptive cross-section.l study in.Kumasi, Ghan. examin.d oral health status amon. people, 121 children.with special n.eds over two mon.hs, in.j.n.-j.ly 2022. Den.al caries, periodon.al chan.es, malocclusion. an. trauma were assessed. The data was an.lyzed usin. SPSS 20.0. Results: The oral health status amon. people with special n.eds in.this study was gen.rally moderate, with a ran.e from very good to very poor. The prevalen.e of den.al caries was 37%, with a mean.DMFT score of 2.82. Periodon.al health showed un.atisfactory in.icators such as mobile teeth, poor gin.ival health, high plaque scores, an. the presen.e of halitosis. Con.lusion. This descriptive study aimed to provide baselin. data on.the oral health status of special n.eds studen.s in.Kumasi, addressin. the lack of kn.wledge in.this area. It highlighted the importan.e of den.al care in.main.ain.n. good oral health an. overall well-bein. in.in.ividuals with special n.eds. Coordin.ted efforts by den.al profession.ls are n.eded to provide den.al health education.an. preven.ive in.erven.ion. for these children.

This research en.ails the study of heat an. mass tran.fer of n.n.fluid flow in.a fluidized bed dryer used in.tea dryin. processes in.presen.e of in.uced magn.tic field. A mathematical model describin. the fluid flow in.a Fluidized bed dryer was developed usin. the n.n.in.ar partial differen.ial equation.. Due to their n.n.lin.arity, the equation. were solved n.merically by use of the fin.te differen.e method. The effects of physical flow parameters on.velocity, temperature, con.en.ration.an. magn.tic in.uction.profiles were studied an. results were presen.ed graphically. From the mathematical an.lysis, it was deduced that addition.of silver n.n.particles in.o the fluid flow en.an.ed velocity an. temperature profiles. This led to improved heat tran.fer in.the fluidized bed dryer, hen.e amplifyin. the tea dryin. process. Furthermore, it was n.ted that in.uced magn.tic field ten.s to decrease the fluid velocity, which results in.un.form distribution.of heat leadin. to efficien. heat tran.fer between.the tea particles an. the fluid, thus improvin. the dryin. process. The flexibility in.radiotherapy can.be improved if patien.s can.be moved between.an. on. of the departmen.’s medical lin.ar accelerators (LIn.Cs) without the n.ed to chan.e an.thin. in.the patien.’s treatmen. plan. For this to be possible, the dosimetric characteristics of the various accelerators must be the same, or n.arly the same. The purpose of this work is to describe further an. compare measuremen.s an. parameters after the in.tial ven.or-recommen.ed beam matchin. of the five LIn.Cs. Deviation. related to dose calculation. an. to beam matched accelerators may compromise treatmen. accuracy. The safest an. most practical way to en.ure that all accelerators are within.clin.cal acceptable accuracy is to in.lude TPS calculation. in.the LIn.Cs matchin. evaluation. Treatmen. plan.in. system (TPS) was used to create three photon. plan. with differen. field sizes 3 × 3 cm, 10 × 10 cm an. 25 × 25 cm at a depth of 4.5 cm in.Perspex. Calculated TPS plan. were sen. to Mosaiq to be delivered by five LIn.Cs. TPS plan. were compared with five LIn.Cs measuremen.s data usin. Gamma an.lyses of 2% an. 2 mm. The results suggest that for four out of the five LIn.Cs, there was gen.rally good agreemen., less than.a 2% deviation.between.the plan.ed dose distribution.an. the measured dose distribution. However, on. specific LIn.C n.med “Asterix” exhibited a deviation.of 2.121% from the plan.ed dose. The results show that all of the LIn.Cs’ performan.e were within.the acceptable deviation.an. deliverin. radiation.dose con.isten.ly an. accurately.

The sessile drop method was applied to the experimen.al in.estigation.of the wettin. an. spreadin. behaviors of liquid Mg drops on.pure n. *** comparison.the experimen.s were performed in.two varian.s:(1)usin. the Capillary Purification.CP)procedure,which allows the n.n.con.act heatin. an. squeezin. of a pure oxide-free Mg drop;(2)by classical Con.act Heatin.(CH)*** high-temperature tests were performed un.er isothermal con.ition.(CP:760℃for 30 s;CH:715℃for 300 s)usin. Ar+5 wt%H_(2) *** the sessile drop tests,images of the Mg/n. couples were recorded by CCD cameras(57 fps),which were then.applied to calculate the con.act an.les of metal/substrate *** an. tran.mission.electron.microscopy an.lyses,both coupled with en.rgy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,were used for detailed structural characterization.of the solidified *** was foun. that an.oxide-free Mg drop obtain.d by the CP procedure showed a wettin. phen.men.n.on.the n. substrate(an.average con.act an.leθn.1 s),followed by fast spreadin. an. good wettin. over the n. substrate(θ_((CP))~20°in.5 s)to form a fin.l con.act an.le ofθ_(f(CP))~18°.In.con.rast,a differen. wettin. behavior was observed for the CH procedure,where the un.voidable primary oxide film on.the Mg surface blocked the spreadin. of liquid Mg showin. apparen.ly n.n.wettin. behavior after 300 s con.act at the test ***,in.both cases,the deep craters formed in.the n. substrates un.er the Mg drops an. sign.fican. chan.e in.the structure of in.tially pure Mg drops to Mg-n. alloys suggest a stron. dissolution.of n. in.liquid Mg an. apparen. values of the fin.l con.act an.les measured for the Mg/n. system.
