Dear Editor,Macroautophagy(referred to as autophagy herein)is an evolutionarily con served,lysosomal degradatio n process by which cells rid themselves of aggregated proteins and damaged organelles(He and Klionsky,2009).This process involves a finely orchestrated molecular pathway comprising a plethora of ATG proteins essential for autophagosome *** mammalian Unc-51-like kinase(ULK)complex plays an essential role to initiate canonical autophagy pathway by relaying upstream nutrient and stress signals to downstream autophagy machinery(Mizushima,2010;Wong et al.,2013).

Copper(Cu)provides a cost-effective means of producing value-added fuels through the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)RR).However,we observed the production of hydrocarbons via CO_(2)RR on commercial Cu films is less efficient because of the surface impurities,i.e.,*** monoxide(CO),a reaction intermediate of CO_(2)RR to hydrocarbons,binds strongly to the Fe sites and interrupts the production of hydrocarbons,resulting in an active hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Herein,we report a method of blocking the effect of Fe impurities on the Cu surface through the preferential growth of nano-sized metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)on Fe *** zirconium(Zr)-based MOFs(UiO-66)forms a compensating layer on Cu film via the terephthalic acid(TPA)-Fe coordination bond,the Ui O-66 coated Cu film(UiO-66@Cu)presents significantly improved hydrocarbon Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 37.59%compared to 14.68%FE on commercial Cu film(99.9%purity)by suppressing *** to X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analysis,the UiO-66 ligand binds to entire metallic Fe site on the Cu surface,while metallic Cu is ***,UiO-66@Cu provides active sites of Cu for CO_(2)RR and leads to highly efficient and selective production of hydrocarbons.

Moringa plant belongs to the family Moringaceae within the order Brassicales. It is a magical plant which contains 7 timesthe vitamin C content of oranges,4 times the vitamin A content of carrots, 4 times the calcium content of milk ,3 times the potassiumcontent of bananas and 2 times the protein content of yogurt (gram to gram) . The most widely distributed species is Moringa oleiferaLam., referred as drumstick tree for the shape of its seed pods. Leaves of M. oleifera are rich in a unique glucosinolate namedglucomoringin. Moringa were found to release CS2 when submitted to experimental conditions of dithiocarbamate residue *** chromatography was used to quantitate CS2 and control samples were obtained from Moringa plantations cultivated inexperimental areas, in which no treatment with fungicides of the dithiocarbamate group was applied. Endogenous CS2 levels werecompared with dithiocarbamate residues measured in Moringa samples from the field trials following applications of the macozeebfungicide. Use small leaves resulted in an observed decrease in CS2 concentration comparable to the large leaves. Temperature levelused has an effect on the concentration of CS2 measured as an indicator for dithiocarbamate pesticide residue. And use of hightemperature (100 °C) in drying of Moringa leaves after harvesting may lead to some biochemical changes that caused an observedincrease in CS2 concentration comparable to drying at (50 °C). Evidence for formation of dithiocarbamate compound from moringinin moringa leaves are metabolized/detoxified principally by the mercapturic acid pathway. Conjugation with glutathione (GSH)promoted by glutathione transferases gives rise to the corresponding Glucosinolate -. Isothiocyanate conjugates. BACKGROUND Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)is associated with obesity and metabolic *** and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)are highly prevalent entities worldwide and may share similar mechanisms including gut dysbiosis,impaired intestinal mucosal barrier and immune system *** To systematically review their association according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systemic Review and Meta-analyses *** PubMed,EMBASE and Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews were searched for relevant *** searches were also *** Six studies were *** IBS and NAFLD subjects had significantly more metabolic risk factors like hypertension,obesity,dyslipidaemia and *** review showed that 23.2%to 29.4%of NAFLD patients had *** was significantly higher in NAFLD patients compared with patients without NAFLD(23.2%vs 12.5%,P<0.01).A higher proportion of IBS patients had NAFLD(65.8%to 74.0%).IBS patients were three times more likely to have NAFLD compared with non-IBS patients(P<0.001).Two studies showed a significant correlation between the severity of IBS and *** proportion of NAFLD subjects with IBS increased with NAFLD *** Further prospective studies are warranted to evaluate the relationship and shared pathways between IBS and NAFLD,potentially leading to the development of future therapeutics.

This work demonstrated the viability of friction stir welding for the welding of medium-Mn steels when used as cryogenic vessel materials for liquefied gas *** used an intercritically annealed Fe-7 Mn-0.2 C-3 Al(wt.%)steel with a dual-phase(α'martensite andγ_(R) retained austenite)nanolaminate structure as a base material and systematically compared its microstructure and impact toughness after friction stir and tungsten inert gas *** friction stir welded specimen exhibited a large amount ofγ_(R) phase owing to a relatively low temperature during welding,whereas the tungsten inert gas welded specimen comprised only theα'***,the friction stir welded steel exhibited a tuned morphology of nanoscale globular microstructure at the weld zone and did not exhibit any prior austenite grain boundary due to active recrystallization caused by deformation during *** preserved fraction ofγ_(R) and morphological tuning in the weldment improved the impact toughness of the friction stir welded steel at low *** the steel processed by tungsten inert gas welding,the notch crack propagated rapidly along the prior austenite grain boundaries-weakened by Mn and P segregations-resulting in poor impact ***,the friction stir welded steel exhibited a higher resistance against notch crack propagation due to the slow crack propagation along the ultrafine ferrite/ferrite(α/α)interfaces,damage tolerance by the active transformation-induced plasticity from the large amount ofγR,and enhanced boundary cohesion by suppressed Mn and P segregations.
