Peristaltic transport of pseudoplastic fluid in a curved channel with wall properties and slip conditions

Effects of wall properties and slip condition on the peristaltic flow of an incompressible pseudoplastic fluid in a curved channel are studied. Series solution of the governing problem is obtained after applying long wavelength and low Reynolds number approximations. The results are validated with the numerical solutions through the built-in routine for solving nonlinear boundary value problems via software mathematica. The variations of different parameters on axial velocity are carefully analyzed. Behaviors of embedding parameters on the dimensionless stream function are also discussed. It is noted that the axial velocity and size of trapped bolus increases with an increase in slip parameter. It is also observed that the profiles of axial velocity are not symmetric about the central line of the curved channel which is different from the case of planar channel.

This study introduces a new classifier tailored to address the limitations inherent in conventional classifiers such as K-nearest neighbor(KNN),random forest(RF),decision tree(DT),and support vector machine(SVm)for arrhythmia *** proposed classifier leverages the Chi-square distance as a primary metric,providing a specialized and original approach for precise arrhythmia *** optimize feature selection and refine the classifier’s performance,particle swarm optimization(PSO)is integrated with the Chi-square distance as a fitness *** synergistic integration enhances the classifier’s capabilities,resulting in a substantial improvement in accuracy for arrhythmia *** results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method,achieving a noteworthy accuracy rate of 98% with PSO,higher than 89% achieved without any previous *** classifier outperforms machine learning(mL)and deep learning(DL)techniques,underscoring its reliability and superiority in the realm of arrhythmia *** promising results render it an effective method to support both academic and medical communities,offering an advanced and precise solution for arrhythmia detection in electrocardiogram(ECG)data.

Herein,we report the synthesis of a Dy-Gd co-doped cubic phase-stabilized Bi_(2)O_(3) solid electrolyte system via solid-state processing under atmospheric *** with Dy^(3+) and Gd^(3+) has been observed to significantly enhance the densification process during sintering for stabilization purposes,thereby improving the electrical properties of δ-Bi_(2)O_(3)-type *** synthesized ceramics were characterized using X-ray diffraction(XRD),field emission scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(FESEm-EDX),thermal gravimetry/differential thermal analysis(TG/DTA),and the four-point probe technique(4PPT).XRD analysis reveals that the samples Bi_(1-x-y)Gd_(x)Dy_(y)O_(1.5)(y=0.05/x=0.05,0.10,0,15,and 0.20,and x=0.05/y=0.10,0.15,and 0.20) exhibit a stable face-centered cubic δ-phase and a mixed-phase crystallographic *** XRD analysis of the stabilized δ-phase suggests that the prepared oxides show a face-centered cubic(FCC) structure with a space group of *** micrographs reveal that the composition Bi_(0.90)Gd_(0.05)Dy_(0.05)O_(1.5) has no significant ***,an evident increase in the pore formation is observed as the amount of Gd_(2)O_(3) increases until it reaches 20%.This finding suggests that dense pellets are formed during the sintering process at 900-1000℃.The DTA analyses were performed to verify the phase stability,which agrees with the XRD *** electrochemical performance of the synthesized Dy-Gd co-doped Bi_(2)O_(3)solid electrolyte system was evaluated and analyzed in detail by using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) technique,Based on EIS and conductivity measurements,Bi_(0.75)Gd_(0.20)Dy_(0.05)O_(1.5) exhibits the lowest activation energy of 0.519 eV and the highest conductivity value of 0.398 S/cm at 627℃compared to the other samples;this composition can be used as a solid electrolyte for intermediatetemperature solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs).

This paper presents the plasma polymerization of poly（hexafluorobutyl acrylate）（PHFBA） thin films on different substrates in an RF plasma reactor with an outer planar electrode. This reactor configuration allows？large area uniformity and fast processing times. Deposition rates of up to60 nm.min-1were observed. The influence？of plasma power and substrate temperature on the？deposition rate, structure and wettability of the as-deposited films was？investigated. It was observed that better hydrophobicity was obtained at high plasma power and in low temperature conditions. PHFBA thin films deposited on electrospun poly（acrylonitrile） fiber mats under such conditions resulted in superhydrophobic surfaces with？contact angle values greater than 150°.In？vitro cell studies using human epithelial cells demonstrated the non-toxic nature of the？plasma-polymerized PHFBA films.

The catalytic effect of K2SiF6 on mgH2 was first timely *** mgH2+5 wt.%K2SiF6 was prepared via the ball milling *** catalyst had lessened the initial decomposition temperature by 134℃ and 48℃ as compared to both pristine and milled mgH2 samples,*** 2 minutes,4.5 wt.%of hydrogen was absorbed(250℃)by the doped composite,which was 0.8 wt.%higher than the milled ***,for the desorption kinetics(320℃,1 atm),the amount of desorbed hydrogen was increased by 2.4 wt.%and 2.3 wt.%for the first 10 and 20 ***,contracting volume and Johnson-mehl-Avrami models were used to analyse the kinetics *** decomposition activation energy calculated based on Kissinger equation was 114 kJ/*** for the active species,mg2Si,mgF2 and KH were formed during the heating *** active species are speculated to be responsible for the improvement of the hydrogenation properties of the composite.

Following surface rupture observations in populated areas affected by the KahramanmaraşEarthquake(mw 7.7)on February 6th,2023,along the Pazarcık segment of the East Anatolian Fault Zone(EAFZ),this study presents novel insights into physical criteria for delineating surface fault-rupture hazard zones(SRHZs)along ruptured strike-slip *** achieve this objective,three trench studies across the surface rupture were conducted on the Pazarcık segment of the EAFZ to collect field data,and earthquake recurrence intervals were interpreted using Bayesian statistics from previously conducted paleoseismological *** results of the proposed model indicate that the Pazarcık segment produced five significant surface-rupturing earthquakes in the last∼11 kyr:E1:11.13±1.74 kyr,E2:7.62±1.20 kyr,E3:5.34±1.05 kyr,E4:1.82±0.93 kyr,and E5:0.35±0.11 *** addition,the recurrence intervals of destructive earthquakes on the subject in question range from 0.6 kyr to 4.8 *** that the last significant earthquake occurred in 1513,the longest time since the most recent surface fault rupturing earthquake on this particular segment was 511 *** results indicate that,in terms of the theoretical recurrence interval of earthquakes that can create surface ruptures on the Pazarcık segment,the period in which the February 6,2023,earthquake occurred was within the end of the expected return *** a result,the potential for a devastating earthquake in the near future is not foreseen on the same ***,the SRHZ proposed for the Pazarcık section of Gölbaşıvillage was calculated as a 61-meter-wide offset on the fault lineament to reduce the negativities that may occur in the ruptured area in the *** is recommended to take into account this width in the settlement of this area and nearby areas.

In this paper,the effects of thermal radiation and viscous dissipation on the stagnation–point flow of a micropolar fluid over a permeable stretching sheet with suction and injection are analyzed and discussed.A suitable similarity transformation is used to convert the governing nonlinear partial differential equations into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations,which are then solved numerically by a fourth–order Runge–Kutta *** is found that the linear fluid velocity decreases with the enhancement of the porosity,boundary,and suction ***,it increases with the micropolar and injection *** angular velocity grows with the boundary,porosity,and suction parameters,whereas it is reduced if the micropolar and injection parameters become *** is concluded that the thermal boundary layer extension increases with the injection parameter and decreases with the suction parameter.
