Healthcare is a binding domain for the Internet of Things(IoT)to automate healthcare services for sharing and accumulation patient records at anytime from anywhere through the *** current IP-based Internet architecture suffers from latency,mobility,location dependency,and *** Named Data Networking(NDN)has been projected as a future internet architecture to cope with the limitations of IP-based ***,the NDN infrastructure does not have a secure framework for IoT healthcare *** this paper,we proposed a secure NDN framework for IoTenabled Healthcare(IoTEH).In the proposed work,we adopt the services of Identity-Based Signcryption(IBS)cryptography under the security hardness Hyperelliptic Curve Cryptosystem(HCC)to secure the IoTEH information in *** HCC provides the corresponding level of security using minimal computational and communicational resources as compared to bilinear pairing and Elliptic Curve Cryptosystem(ECC).For the efficiency of the proposed scheme,we simulated the security of the proposed solution using Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols and Applications(AVISPA).Besides,we deployed the proposed scheme on the IoTEH in NDN infrastructure and compared it with the recent IBS schemes in terms of computation and communication *** simulation results showed the superiority and improvement of the proposed framework against contemporary related works.

Linking similar proteins structurally is a challenging task that may help in finding the novel members of a protein family. In this respect, identification of conserved sequence can facilitate understanding and classifying the exact role of proteins. However, the exact role of these conserved elements cannot be elucidated without structural and physiochemical information. In this work, we present a novel desktop application MotViz designed for searching and analyzing the conserved sequence segments within protein structure. With MotViz, the user can extract a complete list of sequence motifs from loaded 3D structures, annotate the motifs structurally and analyze their physiochemical properties. The conservation value calculated for an individual motif can be visualized graphically. To check the efficiency, predicted motifs from the data sets of 9 protein families were analyzed and Mot^z algorithm was more efficient in comparison to other online motif prediction tools. Furthermore, a database was also integrated for storing, retrieving and performing the detailed functional annotation studies. In summary, MotViz effectively predicts motifs with high sensitivity and simultaneously visualizes them into 3D strucures. Moreover, Mot- V/z is user-friendly with optimized graphical parameters and better processing speed due to the inclusion of a database at the back end. MotViz is available at http：//***/***.

High temperature induced masculinization of zebrafish by down-regulation of sox9b and esr1 via DNA methylation

Elevated temperature could influence the sex differentiation by altering the expression of sex-related genes in ***, the underlying mechanisms by which the gene expression is altered remain poorly ***, we aimed to explore the role of DNA methylation in sex differentiation of zebrafish(Danio rerio) in response to elevated *** results showed that high temperature(33℃) exposure of fish from 20 to 30 days post fertilization(dpf), compared to normal temperature(28℃), resulted in male-biased sex ratio and decreased expression of female-related genes including cyp19a1a, sox9b and ***, the expressions of DNA methyltransferases dnmt3a1 and dnmt3a2, and the DNA methylation levels in sox9b and esr1 promoter were significantly increased by high temperature, strongly implying that DNA methylation is involved in high temperature-induced masculinization of ***-treatment with 5-aza-2-deoxycytidine(a DNA methylation inhibitor) attenuated the high temperature-induced masculinizing effect, recovered the expression of esr1 and sox9b, suppressed the transcription of dnmt3a1 and dnmt3a2, and decreased the methylation of esr1 and sox9b promoter, further confirming that DNA methylation plays an important role in high temperature-induced masculinization of ***, the methylation of sox9b promoter decreased the enrichment of transcription factor CREB(cAMP-responsive element binding proteins).Overall, these findings suggest that high temperature induce masculinization of zebrafish by down-regulation of femalerelated genes via DNA methylation, providing a new insight in understanding the epigenetic mechanism of thermal-mediated sex differentiation in fish.

This study provides insights into the non-covalent complexation of greent solvent extracted date leaf poly -phenolic extracts (DLPE) with bovine and camel dairy proteins and their utilization for enhancing the photo and thermal stabilities of curcumin loaded into nano-emulsion. UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopies showed marked variation among bovine and camel dairy-DLPE complexes. Dairy protein-DLPE complexation improved the radical scavenging activities compared to unmodified milk proteins. Caseins-DLPE complexes showed higher total phenolic content (TPC) than whey-DLPE complexes with camel casein (CC) showing highest values. The formation of protein-polyphenol complexes was also predicted using molecular docking that suggested van der Waals interaction as a dominant force binding camel dairy protein with DLPE. Further, curcumin-loaded nanoemulsions were fabricated using dairy proteins-DLPE complexes as emulsifiers. The thermal stability of curcumin loaded in nanoemulsions was studied at different temperatures (55 degrees C, 75 degrees C and 95 degrees C) for varying periods of time (0-6 h) while photostability was studied by exposure to UV light for a period of 120 min. The results showed that the thermal and photostability of curcumin improved when dairy protein-DLPE complexes were used for nanoemulsion production. Camel casein-DLPE stabilized nanoemulsions imparted the highest thermal and photostabilities to curcumin while camel whey-DLPE showed the lowest retention of curcumin in nanoemulsions. In vitro digestion showed complexation of caseins with DLPE improved the bioaccesibility of curcumin. Moreover, curcumin bioaccesibility was higher for CC-DLPE (69.25%) compared to CC (49.83%) stabilized emulsions. Overall, CC-DLPE complexes demonstrated the superior performance for stabilizing the emulsion and delivering the curcumin in simulated GI tract efficiently.

Seventy percent of new product cost is committed in the design phase. Therefore, the cost needs to be minimized. Incorporating accurate cost estimation capabilities into manufacturing processes can help industries to minimize the cost and optimize the design. The casting process has been employed as a key process to manufacture parts having the advantage of low cost and customized products in foundry industry. This paper presents a cost estimation system for the casting process based on the design features, which incorporates the casting information at the design stage of castings. It aims to deliver the best cost-effective choice for casting design features of a product. Two kinds of knowledge, namely economical knowledge(describing the relation between the casting design considerations and the cost) and technical knowledge(involving the material of the casting features) were structured in this research work. On the basis of the minimum product cost, casting material selection can be carried out in detail. The developed system has been validated through an industrial case study.

This paper presents an efficient crypto processor architecture for key agreement using ECDH(Elliptic-curve Diffie Hellman)protocol over GF2163.The composition of our key-agreement architecture is expressed in consisting of the following:(i)Elliptic-curve Point Multiplication architecture for public key generation(DESIGN-I)and(ii)integration of DESIGN-I with two additional routing multiplexers and a controller for shared key generation(DESIGN-II).The arithmetic operators used in DESIGN-I and DESIGNII contain an adder,squarer,a multiplier and inversion.A simple shift and add multiplication method is employed to retain lower hardware ***,an essential inversion operation is operated using the Itoh-Tsujii algorithm with similar hardware resources of used squarer and multiplier *** proposed architecture is implemented in a Verilog *** implementation results are given on a Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA(field-programmable gate array)*** DESIGN-I and DESIGN-II over GF2163,(i)the utilized Slices are 3983 and 4037,(ii)the time to compute one public key and a shared secret is 553.7μs and 1170.7μs and(iii)the consumed power is 29μW and 57μ***,the achieved area optimized and power reduced results show that the proposed ECDH architecture is a suitable alternative(to generate a shared secret)for the applications that require low hardware resources and power consumption.
