The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)global public health em.rgency,has exposed the fragility of health *** to healthcare becam. a scarce com.odity as healthcare providers and resource-poor populations becam. victim. of the novel corona ***,this study focuses on Africa’s readiness to integrate telem.dicine into the weak health system. and its adoption m.y help alleviate poor healthcare and poverty after *** conducted a narrative review through different search strategies in Scopus on January 20,2021,to identify available literature reporting im.lem.ntation of various telem.dicine m.des in Africa from.January 1,2011 to Decem.er 31,*** sum.arized 54 studies according to geographies,field,and im.lem.ntation *** results show a willingness to adopt telem.dicine in the resource-poor settings and hard-to-reach populations,which will bring relief to the inadequate healthcare system. and alleviate poverty of those who feel the burden of healthcare cost the *** adequate governm.nt financing,telem.dicine prom.ses to enhance the treating of com.unicable and non-com.unicable diseases as well as support health *** can also alleviate poverty am.ng vulnerable groups and hard-to-reach com.unities in Africa with adequate governm.nt ***,given the lack of funding in Africa,the challenges in im.lem.nting telem.dicine require global and national strategies before it can yield prom.sing *** is especially true in regards to alleviating the m.ltidim.nsionality of poverty in post-COVID-19 Africa.

In order to overcom. all encapsulation variations during a com.lex coacervation process, the replacem.nt of gelatin cationic polym.r has been perform.d using p(Am.). The synthesis of p(Am.) was realized through a random.radical m.thodology. Under these conditions a polym.r with 18,600 g/m.l was found appropriate for optim.l capsule yield and physico-chem.cal properties. Turbidity m.asurem.nts perform.d during the coacervation reactions with different ratios of both Cm. and p(Am.) allowed optim.zing coacervation conditions. Coacervates characterizations particularly dem.nstrate the stability of the capsules exhibiting a break strength over 3 N/m.sup>2.

Diabetes has becom. a concern in the developed and developing countries with its growing num.er of patients reported to the m.nistry of health records. This paper discusses the use of the Autoregressive Fractional m.ving Average (ARFIm.) technique to m.deling the diabetes patient’s attendance at Al-Baha hospitals using m.nthly tim. series data. The data used in the analysis of this paper are m.nthly readings of diabetes patients data covered the period January 2006-Decem.er 2016. The data were collected from.the General Directorate of Health Affairs, Al-Baha region. The autoregressive fractional m.ving average approach was applied to the data through the m.del identification, estim.tion, diagnostic checking and forecasting. Hurst test results and ACF confirm.d that there is a long m.m.ry behavior in diabetic patient’s data. Also, the fractional difference to diabetes series data revealed that (m.dm. = 0.44). m.reover, unit root tests indicated that the fractional difference of diabetes series level is stationary. Furtherm.re, according to AIC and BIC of m.del selection criteria ARFIm. (1, 0.44, 0) m.del shown the sm.llest values, hence this m.del was chosen as an adequate represents the data. Also, a diagnostic check confirm.d that ARFIm. was appropriate and highly recom.ended in m.deling and forecasting this type of data.

This study explores strategies to develop highly efficient direct carbon fuel cells(DCFCs) by com.bining a solid-oxide fuel cell(SOFC) with a catalyst-aided carbon-gasification process. This system.em.loys Cu/CeO 2 com.osites as both anodic electrodes and carbon additives in a cell of the type: carbon|Cu-CeO 2/YSZ/Ag|air. The study investigates the im.act on in situ carbon-gasification and DCFC perform.nce characteristics of catalyst addition and variation in the carrier gas used(inert He versus reactive CO2). The results indicate that cell perform.nce is significantly im.roved by infusing the catalyst into the carbon feedstock and by em.loying CO2 as the carrier gas. At 800 ℃, the m.xi-m.m.power output is enhanced by approxim.tely 40% and 230% for carbon/CO2 and car-bon/catalyst/CO2 system., respectively, com.ared with that of the carbon/He configuration. The increase observed when em.loying the catalyst and CO2 as the carrier gas can be prim.rily at-tributed to the pronounced effect of the catalyst on carbon-gasification through the re-verse-Boudouard reaction, and the subsequent in situ electro-oxidation of CO at the anode three-phase boundary.

In this study, we proposed a determ.nistic m.them.tical m.del that attem.ts to explain the propagation of a rum.r using epidem.ological m.dels approach. The population is divided into four classes which consist of ignorant individuals, I(t), spreaders targeting com.unity through m.dia, m.t), spreaders targeting com.unity through verbal com.unication, G(t) and stiflers, R(t). We explored existence of the equilibria and analyzed its stability. It was established that rum.ur-free equilibrium.E0 is locally asym.totically stable if R0m.aning rum.r can seize spreading in a population, and unstable if R0>1 leads to new rum.r spreading in the population. Num.rical sim.lations of the dynam.c m.del are carried out on the system.to confirm.the analytical results. We see that the dynam.cs of rum.r spreading show sim.lar behavior to that found in the dynam.cs of infectious diseases except that the spread depends on the classes of spreader.
