RNA-remodeling proteins,including RNA helicases and chaperones,play vital roles in the remodeling of structured *** viral replication,viruses require RNA-remodeling proteins to facilitate proper folding and/or re-folding the viral RNA *** B3(CVB3)and Coxsackieviruses B5(CVB5),belonging to the genus Enterovirus in the family Picornaviridae,have been reported to cause various infectious diseases such as hand-foot-and-mouth disease,aseptic meningitis,and viral ***,little is known about whether CVB3 and CVB5 encode any RNA remodeling *** this study,we showed that 2C proteins of CVB3 and CVB5 contained the conserved SF3 helicase A,B,and C motifs,and functioned not only as RNA helicase that unwound RNA helix bidirectionally in an NTP-dependent manner,but also as RNA chaperone that remodeled structured RNAs and facilitated RNA strand annealing independently of *** addition,we determined that the NTPase activity and RNA helicase activity of 2C proteins of CVB3 and CVB5 were dependent on the presence of divalent metallic *** findings demonstrate that 2C proteins of CVBs possess RNA-remodeling activity and underline the functional importance of 2C protein in the life cycle of CVBs.

目的通过数据挖掘技术分析穴位刺激改善结直肠癌术后胃肠功能的选穴规律。方法检索中国知网(CNKI)、维普资讯中文期刊服务平台(VIP)、万方数据知识服务平台(Wanfang Data)、中国生物医学文献服务系统(SinoMed)、PubMed、Web of Science、Cochrane Library建库至2023年7月1日收录的穴位刺激改善结直肠癌术后胃肠功能的临床研究文献。采用Excel2021对数据进行提取与分析,采用R语言进行关联规则分析与聚类分析。结果最终纳入文献197篇,腧穴配伍242条,涉及69个腧穴,总频次为878;使用频次前3位的腧穴是足三里、上巨虚和内关;所用经络主要为足阳明胃经、任脉和足太阴脾经;腧穴多分布于下肢部;最常使用的干预方法是针刺;关联规则分析得到以足三里为中心配伍上巨虚、内关、三阴交等腧穴组合;聚类分析发现4类有效聚类组合。结论穴位刺激改善结直肠癌术后胃肠功能选穴采用多种配穴思想,本研究总结的选穴配伍规律可为临床研究与运用提供参考。

目的采用数据挖掘技术探究穴位刺激治疗癌因性疲乏的选穴配穴规律。方法检索中国知识资源总库(CNKI)、万方数据知识服务平台(Wanfang Data)、中文科技期刊数据库(VIP)、中国生物医学文献服务系统(SinoMed)、PubMed、Web of Science、Embase建库至2023年10月13日收录的穴位刺激治疗癌因性疲乏的临床随机对照试验文献,采用Excel2021和R4.3.1对处方腧穴进行频次分析、关联规则分析和聚类分析。结果共纳入文献187篇,包含214条腧穴处方,涉及102个腧穴,使用总频次为1044。使用频次前3位腧穴为足三里、气海、关元,前3位经络为任脉、足阳明胃经和足太阴脾经;腧穴多分布在下肢部和胸腹部,交会穴为使用频次最高的特定穴,艾灸是最常用的干预措施。关联规则分析显示,足三里-气海-关元-三阴交为核心腧穴组合。对肺癌、乳腺癌、结直肠癌、妇科肿瘤和胃癌选穴分析显示,补虚要穴最常选用。聚类分析得到5组腧穴有效聚类群。结论穴位刺激治疗癌因性疲乏选穴以益气养血、扶正祛邪为主要原则,重视特定穴的使用,并根据脏腑经络辨证运用多种配穴方法以提高临床疗效。

Using panel data from 2012 to 2020 for publicly traded Chinese companies, we explored the efficacy in mitigation of tax information asymmetry to combat profit shifting and transnational tax avoidance. Our empirical analysis revealed that, after the implementation of the inaugural multilateral automatic information exchange system known as the Common Reporting Standard, there was a statistically significantly increase in the effective tax rate by 1.4 percentage points, accompanied by an increase in instances of tax compliance. These trends were discernibly associated with a reduction in profit shifting and notable changes in reported profit margins, particularly influenced by actions related to debt shifting and strategic management of intellectual property assets. These findings underscore the strong connection between these effects and various factors such as investment destinations, asset portfolios, and industry classifications. The results imply a prospective decline in the incidence of cross-border tax avoidance by Chinese multinational entities and demonstrate the potential of emerging international tax cooperation frameworks for curbing the global tax avoidance practices of multinational corporations.

The ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)has become a global public health ***-2(SARS-CoV-2),the causative pathogen of COVID-19,is a positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus belonging to the family *** RNA viruses,virus-encoded RNA helicases have long been recognized to play pivotal roles during viral life cycles by facilitating the correct folding and replication of viral ***,our studies show that SARS-CoV-2-encoded nonstructural protein 13(nsp13)possesses the nucleoside triphosphate hydrolase(NTPase)and RNA helicase activities that can hydrolyze all types of NTPs and unwind RNA helices dependently of the presence of NTP,and further characterize the biochemical characteristics of these two enzymatic activities associated with SARS-CoV-2 ***,we found that some bismuth salts could effectively inhibit both the NTPase and RNA helicase activities of SARS-CoV-2 nsp13 in a dose-dependent ***,our findings demonstrate the NTPase and helicase activities of SARS-CoV-2 nsp13,which may play an important role in SARS-CoV-2 replication and serve as a target for antivirals.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)has caused the ongoing pandemic of Coronavirus Disease ***-CoV-2 belongs to the genus Betacoronavirus of the Coronaviridae family,which includes SARS-CoV and Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus.1,2 Coronavirus-encoded accessory proteins play critical roles in virus–host interactions and the modulation of host immune responses,thereby contributing to coronaviral pathogenicity via different strategies.3 However,the functions of SARS-CoV-2-encoded accessory proteins are not well *** is a predominant type of programmed cell death,and has been recognized as an important host antiviral defense mechanism that controls viral infection and regulates the inflammatory response.4,5 Previous studies have reported that the SARS-CoV-encoded accessory protein ORF3a can induce apoptosis in cells,6,7 leading to the question of whether SARS-CoV-2 ORF3a also has pro-apoptotic ***,we investigated the potential apoptosis-inducing activity of SARS-CoV-2 ORF3a in different cell lines and compared the pro-apoptotic activities of SARS-CoV-2 ORF3a with those of SARS-CoV ORF3a using the same system.

Dear Editor,Coronaviruses (Co Vs) are large enveloped non-segmented positive-strand RNA viruses that broadly distribute among humans and other animal species, including bats, mice and birds. SARS-Co V-2 infections can cause diseases, named the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The symptoms of COVID-19 range from mild symptoms to severe respiratory syndromes, including pneumonia, and even death(Chen et al., 2020b;Jiang and Shi, 2020;Xia et al., 2020).
