Background:High-intensity interval training(HIIT)induces similar or even superior adaptations compared to continuous endurance ***,just 6 HIIT sessions over 2 weeks significantly improves maximal oxygen uptake(VO_(2max)),submaximal exercise fat oxidation,and endurance *** even faster adaptations can be achieved with HIIT is not ***,we aimed to determine whether 2 sessions of HIIT per day,separated by 3 h,every other day for 5 days(double HIIT(HIIT-D),n=15)could increase VO_(2max),submaximal exercise fat oxidation,and endurance capacity as effectively as 6 sessions of HIIT over 2 weeks(single HIIT(HIIT-s),n=13).Methods:Each training session consisted of 10×60 s of cycling at 100%of VO_(2max)interspersed with 75 s of low-intensity cycling at 60 watt(W).Pre-and post-training assessments included VO_(2max),time to exhaustion at-80%of VO_(2max),and 60-min cycling trials at-67%of VO_(2max).Results:similar increases(ps:6.0%,p>0.05)and endurance capacity(HIIT-D:80.1%***-s:79.2%,p>0.05)were *** exercise carbohydrate oxidation was reduced in the 2 groups after exercise training(HIIT-D:9.2%,p=0.014 ***-s:18.8%,p=0.012)while submaximal exercise fat oxidation was significantly increased in HIIT-D(15.5%,p=0.048)but not in HIIT-s(9.3%,p=0.290).Conclusion:six HIIT sessions over 5 days was as effective in increasing VO_(2max)and endurance capacity and was more effective in improving submaximal exercise fat oxidation than 6 HIIT sessions over 2 weeks.

There is little or no research initiated on enlightening Nigerians about the pathogenesis,targets for drug development and repositioning for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(sARs-CoV-2)*** disease 2019(COVID-19)is a viral infection causing symptoms like dry cough,sore throat,nasal congestion,tiredness,fever,loss of taste,and smell *** disease was first reported in Wuhan,China,in December *** infection is caused by sARs-CoV-2,which is the third introduction of a highly pathogenic coronavirus into the human *** are viruses with a positive RNA envelope assigned toα,β,γ,andδ***,sARs-CoV-2 belongs to theβ*** four structural proteins ofβcoronavirus are membrane(M),envelope(E),spike(s),and nucleocapsid(N)protein,mediation of coronavirus host infection is established by spike(s)***,the search for drug development targets and repositioning of existing therapeutics is essential for fighting the present *** was reviewed that therapeutics targeting sARs-CoV-2 binding to ACE2 receptor,viral RNA synthesis and replication,3CLpro,RdRp,and helicase will play a crucial role in the development of treatment for sARs-CoV-2 ***,the RdRp and spike protein of sARs-CoV-2 are the most promising targets for drug development and repositioning and vaccine *** combination with chloroquine/hydroxychloroquine are promising drug repositioning for the treatment of COVID-19,and mRNA-1273 targeting spike protein is the promising ***,as patient management and drug repositioning are taking place,it is imperative to identify other promising targets used by sARs-CoV-2 to establish infection,to develop novel therapeutics.

Increasing need for materials with special features have brought various new inventions,one of the most promising hope for new material with special features and functionalities is composites ***,this study report an integration of zinc nanoparticles into kenaf/polyester polymer composite to introduce new behavior to the *** composite behaviors were compared for mechanical,thermal,moisture absorption and biodegradability *** Zinc Oxide nanoparticles entrenched in the kenaf/polyestaer composites net structure through chemical bonds between kenaf/ZnO/polyester resin,existence of ZnO significantly influence the mechanical and thermals properties of *** analysis based on(TGA)response revealed the integration of ZnO nanoparticles improved the thermal stability when thermal decomposition temperature beyond 3650 *** thermal cracking decreased with present of ZnO and increase with kenaf content(layers).The modulus,Tensile strength,break at elongation,flexural modulus,flexural strength and impact strength of the composites with higher content kenaf/ZnO nanoparticle are 560 MPa,58MPa,1.8%,1300 PMa,68 MPa and 31 MPa,***,addition of kenaf layers and ZnO results in larger mechanical properties enhancement,the results of the contact angle show improvement in wetting of the fibres with addition of ZnO nanoparticles.

Comparative analysis of metabolite changes in two contrasting rice genotypes in response to low-nitrogen stress

Identification of metabolites responsible for tolerance to low nitrogen availability(low-N)will aid in the genetic improvement of rice yield under nitrogen *** this study,a backcross introgression line(G9)and its recurrent parent shuhui 527(sH527),which show differential responses to low-N stress,were used to identify metabolites associated with lowN tolerance in *** in metabolite contents in the leaves of G9 and sH527 at three growth stages under low-N stress were assessed by gas chromatography–mass *** metabolites,including amino acids and derivatives,were highly enriched in G9 compared with sH527 under the control condition,suggesting that the two genotypes had basal metabolite ***-N stress induced genotype-specific as well as growth stagedependent metabolite *** induced specifically in G9 that were involved in glycolysis and tricarboxylic acid metabolism were enriched at the tillering and grain filling stages,and metabolites involved in nitrogen and proline metabolism were enriched at the booting *** of pyroglutamate,glutamate,2-oxoglutarate,sorbose,glycerate-2-P,and phosphoenolpyruvic acid in G9 suggests that these metabolites could be involved in low-N stress *** results presented here provide valuable information for further elucidation of the molecular mechanisms of low-N tolerance in crops.

Previous studies have confirmed that heat shock protein 90 overexpression can lead to dopami- nergic neuronal death. This study was designed to further investigate what effects are produced by heat shock protein 90 after endurance exercise training. Immunohistochemistry results showed that exercise training significantly inhibited heat shock protein 90 overexpression in the soleus and gastrocnemius in Parkinson＇s disease rats, which is a potential therapeutic target for ameliorating skeletal muscle abnormalities in Parkinso^s disease.

study the Effect of Polymeric Quenching on Wear Resistance of Eutectic Modified Aluminium – silicon Alloy

Polymer quenchants are being used increasingly in the heat treating industry. One reason for this increase is the continual engineering advancements that facilitate their replacement for quench oils and water. The physical properties of a polymer quench bath directly affect the cooling rate of a quenched part. These properties include the type of quenchant, concentration, and agitation. These parameters must be controlled to optimize the quenching process in terms of alloy microstructure, properties, and performance. such data is scarce for cast aluminum alloys in the literatures and a quantitative measurement of the effects from individual process parameter is not available. In this study a master alloy of modified eutectic (Al-12%si) was prepared and used. The specimens were quenched and heat treated in distilled water, food oil, machine oil and (0.2-1.4) wt% concentrations of polyvinylalcohol (PVA). The specimens are characterized for x-ray diffraction, microstructure, hardness, and wear rate. The results had shown that the use of (0.6) wt% PVA revealed a maximum hardness with a slight decrease in the wear rate, and a maximum decrease in the wear rate was achieved when (1.2) wt % PVA was used compared to the reference cast alloy, also results had revealed that the use of polymer quenchants affect positively well in the decrease in the wear rate of the eutectic Al-si alloy over the traditional quenching media.

GC/GCMs analysis of the petroleum ether and dichloromethane extracts of Moringa oleifera roots

Objective:To explore the phytochemical constituents from petroleum ether and diehloromethane extracts of Moringa oleifera(***)roots using GC/GC—***:A total of 5.11 kg fresh and undried crashed root of *** were cut into small pieces and extracted with petroleum ether and diehloromethane(20 ***) at room temperature for 2 *** concentrated extracts were subjected to their GC—Ms ***:The GC-Ms analysis of the petroleum ether and diehloromethane extracts of *** roots,which showed promising biological activities,has resulted in the identification 102 *** constituents belong to 15 classes of compounds including hydrocarbons,fatty acids,esters,alcohols,***,pyrazine,***,steroids,*** and N-hydroxyimine derivatives,unsaturated *** and ***/GC-Ms studies on petroleum ether extraet of the roots revealed that it contained 39 compounds,belonging to nine *** s8 has been isolated as a pure compound from the *** major compounds identified from petroleum ether extract were trans-13-clocosene(37.9%).nonacosane(32.6%).cycloartenol(28.6%) nonadecanoic acid(13.9%) and cyclooctasulfur s8(13.9%).Dichloromethane extract of the roots was composed of 63 compounds of which nasimizinol(58.8%) along with oleic acid(46.5%),N—benzyl-N-(7—cyanato heptanamide(38.3%),N—benzyl-N—(1—chlorononyl) amide(30.3%),bis[3—benzyl prop-2-ene]-1-one(19.5%) and N.N-dibeuzyl—2-ene pent 1.5—diamide(11.6%) were the main ***:This study helps to predict the formula and structure of active molecules which can be used as *** result also enhances the traditional usage of *** which possesses a number of bioactive compounds.

Tensile strength of squeeze Cast Carbon Fibers Reinforced Al-si Matrix Composites

squeeze casting is a pressure casting process in which molten metal is solidified under the direct action of a pressure. In squeeze casting, the relationship between the process parameters and the quality of the squeeze cast components is not fully understood;thus the need for more studies in this area of technology for better understanding of the process. The present work encompasses studying the effect of direct squeeze casting process parameters on the production of (3 and 20%) volume fraction carbon fibers (CF) reinforced Al-si matrix composites. The evaluated process parameters are squeeze pressure in the range (7.5-53) MPa, die preheating temperature (100,200,300)°C, pouring temperature (700,780)°C, squeeze time (30 sec.), and delay time (5 sec.). The results show a good distribution of the matrix between the carbon fibers when using higher casting pressures of (38 and 53MPa), lower pouring temperature of (700°C) and lower die temperatures of (100 and 200°C). Increasing the carbon fibers volume fraction had led to increasing the tensile strength. The using of higher pressure (53MPa), lower pouring temperature (700°C), and lower die temperature (200°C) have increased the ultimate tensile strength of the CF/Al-si composites to (183MPa) when compared to that of the nonreinforced alloy which was (168MPa) because of the increased bonding, decreased shrinkage defects and fibers degradation based on the results. Also, UTs is increased at P=38MPa, Tp=700°C, and Td=100°C.

Virtual Dressing Room Application with Virtual Human Using Kinect sensor

This study proposes a real time 3D virtual model controll and a virtual dressing room application to enable users to try virtual garments and shoes on in front of a virtual mirror. A virtual representation of the user appears in a virtual changing room and the user＇s hand motions select the clothes from a list on the screen. Afterwards, the selected virtual clothes appear on a humanoid model in the virtual mirror. For the purpose of aligning the 3D garments and shoes with the model, 3D locations of the joints are used for positioning, scaling and rotating. By using our developed algorithm, small, medium, large or xlarge garment size is selected automatically and this information is shown on the screen. Then, we apply skin color detection to handle the unwanted occlusions between the user and the model. To create a more realistic effect, the system takes into account different images of the clothes according to different human poses and movements. Optional mirror selection buttons make it possible to have multiple viewing angles on the model. Additionally, we developed an algorithm for matching up all motions between the model and garments. In this study, we benefit from the Microsoft Kinect sDK （software development kit） in order to follow the user＇s movements, coordinate the suitable clothe try-ons and provide depth sort effect to the human body and clothes. In order to use the rapid calculation attributes of game engines, we used unity 3D game engine.

Recovery of gold and silver from a sulphide concentrate by thiourea leaching was *** effects of various parameters on the process,such as oxidants,the initial concentrationof thiourea and acidity in solutions as well as reaction temperature,were systematically *** the results it was confirmed that(a)oxidants had no significant influence on the dis-solution of gold and silver at a fixed initial concentration of thiourea;(b)the initial concentra-tion of thiourea and acidity affected the dissolution rate only in the earliest period of leaching;(c)the rate of the process was controlled by reagent *** optimum operations wereworked out for the thiourea leaching process of the concentrate.
