The Western tragopan(Tragopan melanocephalus)is recorded in the IUCN Red List of 2017 as a vulnerable bird species in *** study provides valuable information for the conservation of Western tragopan,which is a globally threatened avian flagship species in *** study was conducted to investigate and resolve the conservation challenges surrounding the species in two major habitat zones-Salkhala Game Reserve and Machiara National *** study was implemented in May-June 2020 for population density using call count ***,questionnaire was used for local residents’perceptions and habitat suitability modeling map was generated using the MaxEnt model based on previously recorded occurrence points as well as recorded in the survey.A total of 26 western Tragopans were identified by call count during the sampling ***,about 77.3%cited Western Tragopan they more likely to hunt while the remaining 22.6%locals recorded other *** 45.3%of this hunting for fun but only 22%for economic values and only 3%of people consider hunting as a part of their *** of modeling habitat suitability of the Western tragopan showed that the species suitable habitats are small and patchy in *** found that the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)with 40.6 percent contribution was the most important variable in shaping the species *** model identified some new suitable patches which can be the target of future field monitoring for finding new populations of the species and future conservation planning.

The photodetachment of a homo-nuclear linear tetra-atomic negative molecular ion is studied theoretically for an arbitrary laser *** expression for the total cross section is obtained by using an extended version of the two center model,where each center acts as a source of coherent photodetached-electron *** oscillations on observation plane,placed at a large distance from the ion,are *** amplitude of these oscillations is maximum when the laser polarization is parallel to the molecular ***,the amplitude decreases as the angle between the laser polarization and molecular axis increases and consequently vanishes when they are perpendicular to each *** is also found that if the distance between the adjacent centers is very small or very large,then the ampplitude of oscillations is negligibly small.

In this case, a young female presented with non-specific features such as fever, sore throat, headache and fatigue. She went on to develop epigastric pain, darkening of urine and jaundice, with no resolution of prior symptoms. Physical and Laboratory tests confirmed the primary diagnosis of infectious mononucleosis, however, prior history of treatment with multiple drugs led to a diagnosis of DILI as a complication. Appropriate treatment with I.V. antibiotics, hepatoprotective agents, steroids as well as discontinuation of all potential hepatotoxic agents showed significant improvement in patients’ symptoms and overall condition.

The use of electronic communication has been significantly increased over the last few *** is one of the most well-known means of electronic *** email applications are widely used by a large population;however,illiterate and semi-illiterate people face challenges in using them.A major population of Pakistan is illiterate that has little or no practice of computer *** this paper,we investigate the challenges of using email applications by illiterate and semi-illiterate *** addition,we also propose a solution by developing an application tailored to the needs of illiterate/semi-illiterate *** shows that illiterate people are good at learning the designs that convey information with pictures instead of text-only,and focus more on one object/action at a *** proposed solution is based on designing user interfaces that consist of icons and vocal/audio instructions instead of ***,we use background voice/audio which is more helpful than flooding a picture with a lot of *** tested our application using a large number of users with various skill levels(from no computer knowledge to experts).Our results of the usability tests indicate that the application can be used by illiterate people without any training or third-party’s help.

Objective: To understand the impact of platelet associated immunoglobulin G(PAIg G)/platelet associated immunoglobulin M(PAIg M) on severity of dengue virus infection leading to ***: In this study we examined a total of 52 patients who were having secondary infection of dengue in acute phase by using competitive ***: A decrease in the platelet count was observed at the acute phase of infection while all along the recovery stage the count of platelet was significantly increased. A significant decrease was observed in PAIg G and PAIg M in these subjects. Inverse correlation was found between platelets count and PAIg G/PAIg M among the subjects studied. In the platelets elution from ten subjects, anti-dengue virus immunoglobulin G and immunoglobulin M were observed. PAIg G and PAIg M with inclined levels were higher in dengue hemorrhagic fever than the classical dengue fever. In the development of dengue hemorrhagic fever PAIg M inclined level was independently associated with high specificity, showing a possible indication of dengue hemorrhagic ***: This study suggests that in secondary dengue virus infection, the PAIg G and PAIg M levels, and the activity of anti-dengue virus play key roles, both in the development and severity of the disease.

Geochemical evolution of the Mangalwar Complex,Aravalli Craton,NW India:Insights from elemental and Nd-isotope geochemistry of the basement gneisses

The Banded Gneissic Complex(BGC) of the Aravalli Craton is divided into BGC-I and BGC-Ⅱ; the BGC-Ⅱ(central Rajasthan) is comprised of the Sandmata Complex and the Mangalwar Complex. We report elemental and Nd-isotope geochemistry of basement gneisses of the Mangalwar Complex and constrain its origin and evolution. Geochemically, the basement gneisses have been classified as low-SiO_2 gneisses(LSG) and high-SiO_2 gneisses(HSG). Both the LSG and HSG are potassic, calc-alkaline and peraluminous in nature. The LSG are enriched in incompatible(K, Sr, Ba, large ion lithophile elements) and compatible elements(MgO, Cr, and Ni). They display fractionated rare earth element patterns(***_N/Yb_N=12.1)with small Eu-anomaly(δEu=0.9), and exhibit negative anomalies of Nb and Ti in primitive mantlenormalized multi-element diagram. In terms of Nd-isotope geochemistry, the LSG are characterized by_(εNd)(t)=4.2 and depleted mantle model age of 3.3 Ga. To account for these geochemical characteristics we propose a three-stage petrogenetic model for the LSG:(1) fluids released from dehydration of subducting slab metasomatised the mantle-wedge;(2) the subducting slab underwent slab-breakoff causing upwelling and decompression melting of the asthenosphere during waning stage of subduction; and(3)upwelling asthenosphere provided the requisite heat for partial melting of the metasomatised mantlewedge leading to generation of the LSG parental magma. Asthenospheric upwelling also contributed in the LSG petrogenesis which is evident from its high Mg#(avg. 0.53). The LSG formed in this way are contemporary and chemically akin to sanukitoids of the BGC-I and Archean sanukitoids reported elsewhere. This provides a basis to consider the LSG as a part of the BGC-I. Contrary to the LSG, the HSG are depleted in compatible elements(MgO=avg. 1.1 wt.%; Cr=avg. 8 ppm; Ni=avg. 6 ppm) but enriched in incompatible elements(Sr=avg. 239 ppm, Ba=avg. 469 ppm). Its_(εNd)(t) values vary from-9.5 ***

We investigate half metallicity in a chromium(Cr)-substituted AlN dilute magnetic semiconductor using the full-potential linearized augmented plane-wave *** results show that Al_(0.75)Cr_(0.25)N is half metal and holds a net integer magnetic moment of 3μβwith lattice *** half−metallic nature is maintained from the relaxed lattice constant 4.36Åto 4.09Å.An abrupt change of the physical properties is observed at a robust transition lattice constant of 4.09Å,and the material transforms from half metal to *** find that up to 6%compression,the material maintains its half-metallic ***,we also confirm that the origin of ferromagnetism in Al_(0.75)Cr_(0.25)N is double exchange.

2006年4月至2007年4月在巴基斯坦克什米尔地区马希亚拉国家公园(Machiara National Park)对喜马拉雅灰叶猴(Semnopithecus entellus ajex)的栖息地利用和食性生物学进行研究。结果表明,冬天,叶猴首选的栖息地多为温暖湿润的针叶林和落叶林混交地区;夏天,它们则迁移至高海拔的亚高山灌木丛林里。喜马拉雅灰叶猴主要以植物的叶子为食,研究期间在该地区共发现49种被采食过的植物(夏季27种,冬季22种)。通过观察它们的所有食物,发现老叶(36.12%)比嫩叶(27.27%)更受欢迎,随后依次为果实17.00%、树根9.45%、树皮6.69%、花2.19%和根茎1.28%。
