Biopolymer based hydrogels are highly adaptable, compatible and have shown great potential in biological tissues in biomedical applications. However, the development of bio-based hydrogels with high strength and effective antibacterial activity remains challenging. Herein, a series of vanillin-cross-linked chitosan nanocomposite hydrogel interfacially reinforced by g-C_(3)N_(4)nanosheet carrying starch-caped Ag NPs were prepared for wound healing applications. The study aimed to enhance the strength, sustainability and control release ability of the fabricated membranes. Starch-caped silver nanoparticles were incorporated to enhance the anti-bacterial activities The fabricated membranes were assessed using various characterization techniques such as FT-iR, XRD, SEM, mechanical testing, Gel fraction and porosity alongside traditional biomedical tests i.e., swelling percentage, moisture retention ability, water vapor transmission rate, oxygen permeability, anti-bacterial activity and drug-release of the fabricated membranes. The mechanical strength reached as high as 25.9 ± 0.24 MPa for the best optimized sample. The moisture retention lied between 87%–89%, gel fraction 80%–85%, and water vapor transmission up to 104 ± 1.9g m^(-2)h^(-1)showing great properties of the fabricated membrane. Swelling percentage surged to 225% for blood while porosity fluctuated between 44% ± 2.1% and 52.5% ± 2.3%. Oxygen permeability reached up to 8.02 mg/L showing the breathable nature of fabricated membranes. The nanocomposite membrane shown excellent antibacterial activity for both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria with a maximum zone of inhibition 30 ± 0.25 mm and 36.23 ± 0.23 mm respectively. A time interleaved differential phase shift keying (DPSk) remodulation technique is proposed to mitigate the effect of Rayleigh backscattering (RBS)-induced noise in a single fiber colorless wavelength-division-multiplexing passive optical network (WDM-PON). in order to achieve a cost effective optical network unit (ONU) solution without dedicated laser sources for upstream signals to provide optimum symmetric capacity in a colorless WDM-PON, remodulation becomes the core attraction. Also as the performance of colorless WDM-PON systems suffers from the transmission impairments due to RBS, it is mitigated by using this remodulation scheme. Simulation results show that downstream and upstream signals achieve the error-free performance at 10 Gbit/s with negligible penalty, and enhance the tolerance to RBS-induced noise over a 25 km single-mode fiber.

A fossil-bearing locality near Padhri village,Dhok Pathan,55 km away from the tehsil Dina,Jhelum District,in the Potwar Plateau,Middle Siwaliks,Punjab,northern Pakistan,is significantly rich in mammalian *** site has provided an abundant mammalian fossil fauna of Late Miocene age from the Dhok Pathan Formation(Fm.).The recovered material belongs to four families:Equidae(horses),Rhinocerotidae(rhinos),Bovidae(cows),and Suidae(pigs).We discovered a new skull of hipparionine Hipparion theobaldi from this locality along with 22 specimens from the associated assemblage of fossil *** recovered material includes seven other species:the aceratheriine Chilotherium intermedium,boselaphines Tragoportax punjabicus,Selenoportax vexillarius,Pachyportax latidens,the antelope Gazella lydekkeri and suinine Propotamochoerus *** specimens are isolated teeth,fragments of maxilla,mandibles and horn *** Dhok Pathan *** generally composed of claystone,siltstone and sandstone beds and,based on the mammalian fauna,the Padhri fossil locality is dated as Late ***99 s formation was deposited in a subtropical paleoenvironment and the predominance of fossil bovids indicates extremely moist conditions with small but frequent standing water bodies.

international telecommunication union (iTU) recently has standardized ultra-high definition television (UHD-TV) with a resolution which is 16 times more than that of current high definition TV. increasing the efficiency of video source coding or the capacity of transmission channels will be needed to deliver such programs by passive optical network (PON). in this paper, a complete passive co-existence of 10 Gbit-PON (XG-PON) and single carrier 40 Gbit-PON (XLG-PON) for overlay of UHD-TV distribution to 32 optical network units (ONUs) on broadcast basis is presented. The results show error free transmission performance with negligible power penalty over a 20 km bidirectional fiber.

Spectrophotometric method has been developed for the direct quantitative determination of captopril in pharmaceutical preparation and biological fluids （human plasma and urine） samples. The method was accomplished based on parallel factor analysis （PARAFAC） and partial least squares （PLS）. The study was carried out in the pH range from 2.0 to 12.8 and with a concentration from 0.70 to 61.50μg mL^-1 of captopril. Multivariate calibration models such as PLS at various pH and PARAFAC were elaborated from ultraviolet spectra deconvolution and captopril determination. The best models for this system were obtained with PARAFAC and PLS at pH 2.0. The applications of the method for determination of real samples were evaluated by analysis of captopril in pharmaceutical preparations and biological fluids with satisfactory results. The accuracy of the method, evaluated through the RMSEE was 0.5801 for captopril with best calibration curve by PARAFAC and 0.6168 for captopril with PLS at pH 2.0 model.

New adsorptive anodic differential pulse stripping voltammetry method for the direct determination of morphine at trace levels in human plasma of addicts is *** procedure involves an adsorptive accumulation of morphine on a HMDE,followed by oxidation of adsorbed morphine by voltammetry scan using differential pulse *** optimum conditions for the analysis of morphine are pH 10.5,Eacc of -100 mV（***/AgCl）,and tacc of 120 *** peak current is proportional to the concentration of morphine,and a Linear calibration graph is obtained at 0.01-3.10μg mL^-1.A relative standard deviation of 1.06%（n=5）was obtained,and the limit of detection was 3 ng mL^-*** capabiLity of the method for the analysis of real samples was evaluated by the determination of morphine in spiked human plasma and addicts human plasma with satisfactory results.

The simultaneous determination of cobalt, copper and nickel using 1-（2-thiazolylazo）-2-naphthol （first figure of this article） by spectrophotometric method is a difficult problem in analytical chemistry, due to spectral interferences. By multivariate calibration methods, such as partial least squares （PLS） regression, it is possible to obtain a model adjusted to the concentration values of the mixtures used in the calibration range. Orthogonal signal correction （OSC） is a preprocessing technique used for removing the information unrelated to the target variables based on constrained principal component analysis. OSC is a suitable preprocessing method for PLS calibration of mixtures without loss of prediction capacity using spectrophotometric method. in this study, the calibration model is based on absorption spectra in the 550-750-nm range for 21 different mixtures of cobalt, copper and nickel. Calibration matrices were formed from samples containing 0.05-1.05, 0.05-1.30 and 0.05-0.80 μg·mL^-1 for cobalt, copper and nickel, respectively. The root mean square error of prediction （RMSEP） for cobalt, copper and nickel with OSC and without OSC were 0.007, 0.008, 0.011 and 0.031,0.037, 0.032 μg· mL^-1, respectively. This procedure allows the simultaneous determination of cobalt, copper and nickel in synthetic and real samples and good reliability of the determination was proved.
