In this paper,an ultraviolet C-band laser diode lasing at 277 nm composed of B0.313Ga0.687N/B0.40Ga0.60N QW/QB heterostructure on Mg and Si-doped AlxGa1-xN layers was designed,as well as a lowest reported substitutional accepter and donor concentration up to NA=5.0×10^17 cm^-3 and ND=9.0×10^16 cm^-3 for deep ultraviolet lasing was *** structure was assumed to be grown over bulk AIN substrate and operate under a continuous wave at room *** there is an emphasizing of the suitability for using boron nitride wide band gap in the deep ultraviolet region,there is still a shortage of investigation about the ternary BGaN in aluminum-rich AIGaN *** on the simulation,an average local gain in quantum wells of 1946 cm^-1,the maximum emitted power of 2.4 W,the threshold current of 500 mA,a slope efficiency of 1.91 W/A as well as an average DC resistance for the V-I curve of(0.336Ω)had been *** with an investigation regarding different EBL,designs were included with tapered and inverse tapered ***,it had been found a good agreement with the published results for tapered EBL design,with an overweighting for a proposed inverse tapered EBL design.

为了优化深紫外激光二极管(DUV-LD)的电光转换效率与输出功率,提出了单调组分渐变空穴存储层(MCGHRL)和对称组分渐变空穴阻挡层(SCG-HBL)结构。使用Crosslight软件对采用基础结构、矩形空穴存储层(R-HRL)、MCG-HRL以及MCG-HRL和SCG-HBL的DUV-LD进行了仿真研究。结果表明,采用MCG-HRL和SCG-HBL能够更加有效地提升DUV-LD量子阱(QWs)内的空穴浓度,减少n型区的空穴泄露,增加QWs内的辐射复合率,降低其阈值电压与电阻,提升其电光转换效率与输出功率。

Non-intrusive load monitoring is a method that disaggregates the overall energy consumption of a building to estimate the electric power usage and operating status of each appliance *** studies have mostly concentrated on the identification of high-power appliances like HVAC systems while overlooking the existence of low-power ***-power consumer appliances have comparable power consumption patterns,which can complicate the detection task and can be mistaken as *** research tackles the problem of classification of low-power appliances and uses turn-on current transients to extract novel features and develop unique appliance signatures.A hybrid feature extraction method based on mono-fractal and multi-fractal analysis is proposed for identifying low-power *** dimension,Hurst exponent,multifractal spectrum and the Hölder exponents of switching current transient signals are extracted to develop various‘turn-on’appliance signatures for *** classifiers,i.e.,deep neural network,support vector machine,decision trees,and K-nearest neighbours have been optimized using Bayesian optimization and trained using the extracted *** simulated results showed that the proposed method consistently outperforms state-of-the-art feature extraction methods across all optimized classifiers,achieving an accuracy of up to 96%in classifying low-power appliances.

Objective: To evaluate the antihyperglycemic potential of Tamarix aphylla(T. aphylla)leaves in STZ–NIC induced diabetes in Wister Albino ***: Acute toxicity study was done to check the toxicity of T. aphylla(L. Karst)methanol extract. T. aphylla leaves extract was administered intraperitoneally(100 mg,250 mg and 400 mg/kg body weight per day) to diabetic Wister rats for 21 days. The various parameters were studied including fasting blood glucose levels, haemoglobin and glycosylated ***: The treatment groups with the extract at three dose levels expressively abridged the intensities of blood glucose and Glycosylated Haemoglobin. The earlier detected reduced level of plasma haemoglobin of the diabetic rats was raised to near normalcy with treatment of ***: The results of the current study confirm that the leaves extract of T. aphylla are nontoxic and have antidiabetic nature.

Potential of AM Fungi in Phytoremediation of Heavy Metals and Effect on Yield of Wheat Crop

A pot experiment was conducted to determine the potential of AM fungi in phytoremediation of heavy metals and its effect on yield of wheat crop. The experiment was conducted in CR Design with four replications during rabi 2012-13. Data showed no increase in grain and shoot yields by AMF inoculation with Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn at different levels but increased root yield, plant height, spike length and hundred grains weight of wheat as compared with uninoculated crop. Post-harvest soil Zn, Cu, Fe and Mn contents of 2, 4.4, 2.8 and 2.9 mg·kg-1, respectively were maximum in uninoculated plants treated with Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn at triple of recommended level. No increases in plant P, N, Zn, Cu, Fe and Mn uptakes were observed by the inoculation of AMF when compared with uninoculated crop. Maximum plant Zn, Cu, Fe and Mn uptakes of 160.5, 206, 1914.6 and 2653 g·ha-1, respectively were recorded in uninoculated plants applied with Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn at triple of recommended levels. Wheat roots infection intensity by AMF increased with higher AMF soil spores density. Results suggest the potential of phytoremediation of contaminated soil to be improved by the inoculation of crops with AMF.
