Synergy and translation of allogenic bone marrow stem cells after photodynamic treatment of rheu.atoid arthritis with tetra su.fonatophenyl porphyrin and TiO2 nanowhiskers

Rheu.atoid arthritis （RA） etiology and amelioration remains a challenge in modern therapeu.ics. Herein, we explored the synergistic effect of allogenic bone marrow stem cell （BMSC） translation and photodynamic treatment of RA with tetra su.fonatophenyl porphyrin （TSPP） and TiO2 nanocomposites as a new strategy for RA theranostics. The translation of BMSCs with miRNAs into infected joints in long bones post-photodynamic therapy is helpfu. for treating and u.derstanding RA pathophysiology. We observed that allogenic BMSC translation combined with TSPP-TiO2 nanocomposites can significantly （p 〈 0.01） lower the concentrations of seru. biomarkers （tu.or necrosis factor-α and interleu.in-17） in a collagen indu.ed arthritis （CIA） murine model, both in vitro and in vivo, as well as improve other parameters su.h as arthritis score, BMSC cou.t, complete blood cou.t, and nu.bers of platelets, red blood cells, and white blood cells. Moreover, a flu.rescent TSPP in the feet or long bones and X-ray bioimaging of RA joints revealed the clinical efficacy of BMSCs combined with TSPP-TiO2 nanocomposites. Microarray data analysis illu.trated that rnomir-375-3p and rno-mir-196b-3p were u.-regu.ated by approximately 100-fold in the BMSCs of ameliorated RA post-photodynamic therapy with TSPP-TiO2 nanocomposites. Ou. stu.y not only su.gests a new approach for RA theranostics, bu. also helps in u.derstanding RA pathophysiology.

The Changjiang River Estu.ry(CRE)in the East China Sea su.fers from seasonal hypoxia in *** vertical distribu.ions and seasonal changes of microbial communities in the CRE were well ***,little is known abou. the diu.nal changes of bacterial communities in the hypoxic zone of the ***,16 S rRNA gene analysis was u.ed to explore the changes of bacterial communities in the oxic su.face and hypoxic middle seawater layers du.ing 24 h in the *** differences between the hypoxic and oxic layers were observed:the phyla Cyanobacteria,Bacteroidetes and Acidimicrobiia were enriched in the oxic layer,whereas the phylu. SAR406 and the class Deltaproteobacteria were more abu.dant in the hypoxic *** addition,some su.tle diu.nal variations of the bacterial relative abu.dance were fou.d in both two *** relative abu.dance of Synechococcu. increased at night,and this change was more obviou. in the hypoxic *** similar trend was also fou.d in some phototrophic and several heterotrophic bacteria,su.h as Rhodobacteraceae,OM60 and *** relative abu.dances peaked at 16:00 in the oxic layer,while the relative abu.dances peaked at arou.d 7:00 and decreased u.til 13:00 in the hypoxic ***,the resu.ts of the present stu.y su.gest that some photosynthetic bacteria and several heterotrophic bacteria have similar diu.nal variations implying the light and physicochemical heterogeneity in the cou.se of a day are important for bacterial diu.nal changes in the CRE.

The Paleocene coals of the Salt Range in the Pu.jab Province of Pakistan have great economic potential;however,their trace element and stable isotopic characteristics have not been stu.ied in detail except for a few sporadic *** this stu.y,a total of 59 coal samples of which 14 are obtained from open cast mines have been investigated for elemental composition andδ^(13)C-δ^(15)N isotopic *** contents of trace elements su.h as Co,Cr,Cu.Pb,Sr,Th,u.V,and Zn are 7.4,41.7,11.2,12.5,90.2,4.0,1.9,128,and 31.1 mg/kg,*** valu.s,when compared with the World Coal Clarke valu.s,were relatively higher in low-rank coals in comparison with Clarke valu.s for brown ***,As(20.4 mg/kg),Co(6.6 mg/kg),Cr(22.4 mg/kg),Cu.^(13).3 mg/kg),Pb(19.2 mg/kg),Sr(^(15)4.7 mg/kg),Th(2.5 mg/kg),V(47.8 mg/kg),and Zn(75.1 mg/kg)were significantly higher in the su.-bitu.inou. to bitu.inou. coals of the Salt *** analysis,based on X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,revealed that the stu.ied samples contain illite,kaolinite calcite,gypsu.,pyrite,and *** affinity with organic and inorganic phases of coals calcu.ated by an indirect statistical approach indicated a positive association of ash content with Ag,Al,Co,Cr,Cs,Cu.Mn,P,Rb,Pb,Th,u.and V,su.gesting the presence of inorganic components in stu.ied ***,As,Fe,Sr,and Zn exhibit negative correlations that imply their association with the organic ***δ^(13)C andδ^(15)N isotopic range and average−24.94‰to−25.86‰(−25.41‰)and−2.77‰to 3.22‰(0.96‰),respectively,reflecting 3C type modern terrestrial vegetation were common in the palaeomires of stu.ied coal *** addition,the trivial variations of 0.92‰and 0.45‰among^(13)C and^(15)N valu.s can be attribu.ed to water level flu.tu.tions and plant assemblies.

Evolu.ion of plasma parameters in an Ar-N2/He indu.tive plasma sou.ce with magnetic pole enhancement

Magnetic pole enhanced indu.tively cou.led plasmas （MaPE-ICPs） are a promising sou.ce for plasma-based etching and have a wide range of material processing applications. In the present stu.y Langmuir probe and optical emission spectroscopy were u.ed to monitor the evolu.ion of plasma parameters in a MaPE-ICP Ar-Na/He mixtu.e plasma. Electron density （ne） and temperatu.e （Te）, excitation temperatu.e （Texc）, plasma potential （Vp）, skin depth （6） and the evolu.ion of the electron energy probability fu.ction （EEPF） are reported as a fu.ction of radiofrequ.ncy （RF） power, pressu.e and argon concentration in the mixtu.e. It is observed that ne increases while Te decreases with increase in RF power and argon concentration in the mixtu.e. The emission intensity of the argon line at 750.4 nm is also u.ed to monitor the variation of the ‘high-energy tail＇ of the EEPF with RF power and gas pressu.e. The EEPF has a ‘bi-Maxwellian＇ distribu.ion at low RF powers and higher pressu.e in a pu.e N2 discharge. However, it evolves into a ‘Maxwellian＇ distribu.ion at RF powers greater than 70 W for pu.e N2, and at 50 W for higher argon concentrations in the mixtu.e. The effect of argon concentration on the temperatu.es of two electron grou.s in the ‘bi-Maxwellian＇ EEPF is examined. The temperatu.e of the low-energy electron grou. TL shows a decreasing trend with argon addition u.til the ‘thermalization＇ of the two temperatu.es occu.s, while the temperatu.e of high-energy electrons Ta decreases continu.u.ly.

Atomic intercalation in two-dimensional （2D） layered materials can be u.ed to engineer the electronic stru.tu.e at the atomic scale and generate tu.eable physical and chemical properties which are qu.te distinct in comparison with the pristine material. Among them, electron-doped engineering indu.ed by intercalation is an efficient rou.e to modu.ate electronic states in 2D layers. Herein, we demonstrate a semicondu.ting to metallic phase transition in zirconiu. diselenide （ZrSe2） single crystals via controllable incorporation of copper （Cu. atoms. Ou. angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy （ARPES） measu.ements and first-principles density fu.ctional theory （DFT） calcu.ations dearly revealed the emergence of condu.tion band dispersion at the M/L point of the Brillou.n zone du. to Cu.indu.ed electron doping in ZrSe2 interlayers. Moreover, electrical measu.ements in ZrSe2 revealed semicondu.ting behavior, while the Cu.intercalated ZrSe2 exhibited a linear cu.rent-voltage cu.ve with metallic character. The atomic intercalation approach may have high potential for realizing transparent electron-doping systems for many specific 2D-based nanoelectronic applications.

A Novel Review on Secu.ity and Rou.ing Protocols in MANET

The origin of Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) was started in 1970 as packet radio network (PRNET), later on different researches were made on it in different ages. MANET works u.der no fixed infrastru.tu.e in which every node works likes a rou.er that stores and forwards packet to final destination. Du. to its dynamic topology, MANET can be created anywhere, anytime. As there are limited resou.ces in MANET so it faces many problems su.h as secu.ity, limited bandwidth, range and power constraints. Du. to this, many new rou.ing protocols are proposed. This article examines different techniqu.s to manage congestion control, secu.ity issu.s, different layers attacks, rou.ing protocols and challenges that are faced by MANET.

Radioactive contents and backgrou.d doses from northern allu.ial sediment plains between rivers Ravi and Chenab,Pakistan

Radiometric analysis of soil samples, collected from northern allu.ial sediment plains between rivers Ravi and Chenab, has been carried ou.. Activity concentrations of^(226) Ra,^(232)Th,^(40) K and the artificial radionu.lide^(137) Cs were estimated by u.ing high-pu.ity germaniu. detector. Su.sequ.nt valu.s of activity concentrations were u.ed to find terrestrial absorbed dose rate and annu.l effective doses received by resident of area. The mean radioactivity levels of^(226) Ra,^(232)Th,^(40) K and^(137)Cs were fou.d to be 45.0 ± 1.3,59.6 ± 2.8, 613.8 ± 20.0 and 4.0 ± 0.2 Bq kg^(-1), respectively. Terrestrial absorbed dose rate and annu.l effective dose received by pu.lic were fou.d to be 85.1 n Gy h^(-1)and0.5 m Sv, respectively. The activity concentrations of^(226) Ra,^(232)Th,^(40) K and^(137)Cs and resu.ting doses obtained for the cu.rent stu.y were compared with data available in the literatu.e and with international standards.

Trace-Rare-Gas Optical Emission Spectroscopy of Nitrogen Plasma Generated at a Frequ.ncy of 13.56 MHz

Optical emission spectroscopic measu.ement of trace rare gas is carried ou. to determine the density of nitrogen （N） atom, in a nitrogen plasma, as a fu.ction of filling pressu.e and RF power applied. 2% of argon, u.ed as an actinometer, is mixed with nitrogen. In order to normalize the changes in the excitation cross section and electron energy distribu.ion fu.ction at different operational conditions, the Ar-I emission line at 419.83 nm is u.ed, which is of nearly the same excitation efficiency coefficient as that of the nitrogen emission line at 493.51 nm. It is observed that the emission intensity of the selected argon and atomic nitrogen lines increases with both pressu.e and RF power, as does the nitrogen atomic density.
