NPs)a.e of the sca.cely studied ***,the current work proposed tha. the exposure to Ca. NPs ma. instiga.e meta.olic pa.hwa. to be higher tha. tha. of norma.ly growing a.ga.,a.d positively stimula.e a.ga. *** this respect,this resea.ch wa. underta.en to study the exposure effect of Ca. NPs(0,20,40,60,80,a.d 100μg mL^(−1))on the growth,photosynthesis,respira.ion,oxida.ive stress,a.tioxida.ts,a.d lipid production of the microa.ga.Coccomyxa.choda.ii Sa. *** results showed tha. the a.ga. growth concomita.t with chlorophyll content,photosynthesis,a.d ca.cium content increa.ed in response to Ca. *** contents of biomolecules such a. proteins,a.ino a.ids,a.d ca.bohydra.es were a.so promoted by Ca. RO unit is designed to conserva.ive sta.da.ds for versa.ility in the event of feed wa.er qua.ity va.ia.ions. The design includes a.feed wa.er flush cycle to minimize membra.e fouling a.d piping corrosion during shutdown. The system will be a.l a.propria.e controls a.d instrumenta.ion for a.toma.ic opera.ion. a.l system components a.e a.a.la.le a.d of hea.y duty industria. design a.d fa.rica.ed with the highest qua.ity workma.ship. Qua.ity control will be ma.nta.ned throughout a.l ma.ufa.turing processes. The purpose of this study wa. to illustra.e how ultra.onogra.hy ma. be used to identify sudden a.domina. pa.n. From December 2021 a.d Ma.ch 2022, a.comprehensive exa.ina.ion of 50 pa.ients with a.ute a.domina. pa.n wa. conducted. Seven hospita.s in Kha.toum Sta.e, Suda., exa.ined individua.s with clinica.ly suspected a.domina. a.d pelvic deformities using 3.5 MHz ultra.ound ma.hines. Out of the 50 (100%) pa.ients who were presented with a.ute a.domina. pa.n 10 (20%) were a.pendicitis, 9 (18%) were cholecystitis, 8 (16%) were Nephrolithia.is, 3 (6%) were Choledocholithia.is, 3 (6%) were Chronic kidney disea.e, 3 (6%) were Cholelithia.is, 3 (6%) were Cystitis, 4 (8%) were a.cites, 1 (2%) wa. a.ute kidney injury, 1 (2%) wa. a.ute Peritonitis, 1 (2%) wa. Diverticulum a.d 1 (2%) ea.h wa. of Epiga.tric hernia. Hepa.osplenomega.y, Liver cirrhosis, Nephritis a.d Ova.ia. cysts respectively. a.cording to the study results, ultra.onogra.hy (US) proceeds to be the go-to ima.ing stra.egy in most situa.ions, pa.ticula.ly for younger a.d fema.e pa.ients, where limiting exposure to ra.ia.ion must be obliga.ed. The a.plica.ion of Computerized Tomogra.hy CT should be restricted in circumsta.ces where there is no dia.nostic US a.d, in a.l situa.ions, where there is a.significa.t dispa.ity between medica. symptoms a.d nega.ive ima.ing in the US.

Settings a.d Design: 42 cirrhotic pa.ients were ra.domly selected a.d cla.sified into 2 groups a.cording to the presence of va.icea. bleeding. Methods a.d Ma.eria.: Urina.y VEGF wa. mea.ured a.d corrected a.a.nst urina.y crea.inine. Pla.elet count, liver functions, a.domina. ultra.onogra.hy a.d upper endoscopy were done. Sta.istica. a.a.ysis Used: Compa.ison wa. done by Ma.n Whitney a.d Kruska. Wa.lis tests. Correla.ion wa. done using Spea.ma. ra.k correla.ion. Multiva.ia.le logistic regression wa. done to identify predictors of va.icea. bleeding a.d presence of la.ge va.ices. Receiver opera.or cha.a.teristic curve (ROC) a.a.ysis wa. used to determine the optimum cut off va.ue of predictors. Results a.d Conclusions: Urina.y VEGF wa. lower in cirrhotic pa.ients with esopha.ea. va.ices tha. those without. Low VEGF, low pla.elet count a.d splenomega.y were found to be independent predictors of both the presence of la.ge esopha.ea. va.ices, a.d va.icea. bleeding. Cut-off va.ues for pla.elet count ≤ 166.3 × 103/μL, a.d corrected VEGF ≤ 59.12 pg/mg were predictive of la.ge esopha.ea. va.ices with 93.1%, 86.2% sensitivity a.d 74.5%, 58.2% specificity respectively. While va.icea. bleeding could be predicted a. a.pla.elet count ≤ 153 × 103/μL, a.d corrected VEGF ≤ 45.08 pg/mg with 90.9%, 81.8% sensitivity a.d 72.6%, 59.7% specificity respectively. The study concludes tha. urina.y VEGF ca. be used a. a. a.terna.ive to upper endoscopic screening.

Ba.kground: There is limited informa.ion a.out extra.pulmonary tuberculosis (EPTB) in Qa.a.. The a.m of this study is to describe the demogra.hic cha.a.teristics of pa.ients with Tuberculosis (TB) in Qa.a., a.d to compa.e the cha.a.teristics of EPTB with those of Pulmonary Tuberculosis (PTB). Pa.ients a.d Methods: The study wa. conducted a. Ha.a. Medica. Corpora.ion (HMC) in Qa.a., from Ja.ua.y 2005 to December 2008. It involves a.l ca.es of TB dia.nosed in Qa.a. which do not include pa.ients who a.e dia.nosed by routine screening tests upon entry to sta.e of Qa.a.. Results: 1221 ca.es of TB were reported;654 (53.6%) were EPTB;a.d 567 (46.4%) were PTB. Nine hundred fifty-one (77.9%) were ma.es a.d two hundred a.d seventy (22.1%) were fema.es;the mea. a.e wa. 32.7 ± 811.7 yea.s;only 6.9% (84/1221) of them were Qa.a.is. The most frequent a.socia.ed condition wa. dia.etesmellitus (DM) (30;2.5%), a.d the most frequent site involved wa. lymph node (285 ca.es;43.5%). One thousa.d two hundred pa.ients continued on first-line drugs while 21 pa.ients received second line trea.ment. The mea. dura.ion of a.tituberculous thera.y wa. 6.7 ± 1.7 months. Hepa.itis wa. the ma.n drug toxicity. Eight hundred a.d forty seven pa.ients (69.3%) cured a.d eight pa.ients (0.7%) died, wherea. the rema.ning three hundred a.d sixty-six pa.ients (30.0%) ha. left the country before completing thera.y. The proportion of EPTB a.ong fema.es wa. higher tha. ma.es, wherea. dia.etes mellitus wa. strongly a.socia.ed with PTB. Conclusion: TB is still common in Qa.a. with predomina.ce of EPTB. a.though ma.e predomina.ed, the proportion of TB, EPTB a.ong fema.es wa. higher tha. ma.es.

Methods: Clinica.ly: 20 workers in the gross a.a.omy la.ora.ory a.d 20 liberta.ia.s underwent a.sta.da.dized clinica. a.sessment including medica., neurologica. a.d psychia.ric exa.ina.ion. Experimenta.: 40 ma.e ra.s were divided ra.domly into four groups. Group I is control group. Group II received 10 mg/kg of Fa.intra.eritonea.ly once da.ly for 14 da.s. Group III wa. trea.ed with fresh ga.lic juice (1 ml/100g body weight) once da.ly by ora. ga.a.e for 14 da.s. Groups VI received fresh ga.lic juice plus forma.dehyde da.ly for 14 da.s. a. the end of the experiment, the ra.s’ bra.ns were obta.ned for histologica. exa.ina.ion a.d biochemica. a.a.ysis. Results: Clinica. a.d psychia.ric profile of Fa.exposed persons’ revea.ed cognitive impa.red, a.xious a.d depressed persons. There were hostile persons with more hostility towa.d outside. Experimenta.ly, hippoca.pa. a.d fronta. superoxide dismuta.e a.d reduced gluta.hione showed highly significa.t decrea.e while ma.ondia.dehyde a.d nitric oxide level showed highly significa.t increa.e in forma.dehyde trea.ed group when compa.ed with control group. a.so histopa.hologica. cha.ges in the hippoca.pa. a.d fronta. cortices by light microscope revea.ed ma.y distorted cells with deeply sta.ned shrunked nuclei a.d cytopla.m wa. surrounded by va.uola.ed pa.e a.ea. in Fa.exposed group. Objectives:We a.med to eva.ua.e the effect of percuta.eous a.ria. septa. defect(a.D)closure in children using right hea.t indices a.d serum ga.ectin-3(Ga.-3),a. potentia. bioma.kers of right hea.t ***:This ca.e–control prospective study included 40 children with a.D a.d 25 control *** echoca.diogra.hic eva.ua.ion wa. performed before the procedure,a. well a. 24 h,1 month,a.d 6 months a.ter *** Ga.-3 wa. mea.ured before,a.d 1 month a.ter the ***:Serum Ga.-3 concentra.ion,right a.ria.(Ra.dimensions,right ventricula.(RV)dimensions,indexed Ra.a.ea.a.d right index of myoca.dia. performa.ce(RIMP)were significa.tly increa.ed in children with a.D compa.ed with control subjects while tricuspid a.nula. pla.e systolic excursion(Ta.SE)wa. significa.tly *** months a.ter closure,Ra.a.d RV dimensions significa.tly decrea.ed a.d RVfunction improved(RIMP decrea.ed a.d Ta.SE increa.ed).Ga.-3 oncentra.ion significa.tly decrea.ed 1 month a.ter a.D closure,but it did not rea.h norma. ra.ge compa.ed with control subjects.a.positive correla.ion between Ga.-3 a.d a.e a. closure,Ra.a.ea.RV dimensions,a.d RIMP wa. observed.a.positive correla.ion wa. observed between the decrea.e in Ga.-3 concentra.ion a.d the decrea.e in Ra.a.ea.a.d RV dimensions 1 month a.ter a.D closure.a.significa.t nega.ive correla.ion wa. observed between Ta.SE a.d Ga.-3 concentra.ion before a.d a.ter ***:Percuta.eous a.D closure ca. improve right-sided indices a.d decrea.e serum Ga.-3 ***-3 ca. be used a. a.sensitive bioma.ker of right hea.t remodeling,with a.decrea.e in Ga.-3 concentra.ion suggesting reversa. of ma.a.a.tive remodeling.
