Theoretical investigation of nonlinear electrostatic ion-acoustic cnoidal waves(IACWs) is presented in magnetized electron–positron–ion plasma with nonextensive electrons and Maxwellian positrons. Using reductive perturbation technique, Korteweg–de Vries equation is derived and its cnoidal wave solution is analyzed. For given plasma parameters, our model supports only positive potential(compressive) IACW structures. The effect of relevant plasma parameters(viz., nonextensive parameter q, positron concentration p, temperature ratio σ,obliqueness l3) on the characteristics of IACWs is discussed in detail.

The quantum electrodynamic (QED) behaviour is studied for quantum Hall effect (QHE). Quantum theory with conjecture of fractional charge quantization (quantum dipole moment), eigenfunctions for fractional charge quantization at the surface of a twisted and twigged electron quanta and above its surface, fractional Fourier transform and Hermite function for fractional charge quantization is developed. With energy eigen value equation for QHE and with energy operator on an eigenfunction of a twisted and twigged electron quanta, the corresponding eigenfunctions are normalized with Schrodinger’s quantum wave mechanical equation for electric scalar and magnetic potentials, respectively (QED behavior). The fractional electric and magnetic fields with their corresponding potentials for the quantized fractional states in semiconducting hereto structures are theoretically calculated. Such mathematical expressions are in good agreement with experimental results of Nobel Prize winning scientists Klitzing, Haroche, Peter and Gruebber. Our results can also explain the hybridized states of orbits with emphasis on sigma and pi bonding and their corresponding antibonding orbitals as a manifestation of electrophilic and nucleophilic chemical reactions.

Synthesis,characterization of Co_3O_4 and Ag-Co_3O_4 composites and evaluation of their photo-catalytic activities towards photo-degradation of aqueous solution of rhodamine B dye under irradiation of visible light have been described in this ***_3O_4 was prepared by solid phase mechano chemical process using Co(NO_3)_2·6H_2O and NH_4 HCO_3 as precursor *** was deposited on Co_3O_4 from AgNO_3 using Calotropis gigantea extract as reducing ***,SEM and FTIR were used for characterization of prepared ***-catalytic efficiencies of as-prepared Co_3O_4 and Ag-Co_3O_4 were evaluated for aqueous phase photo-degradation of rhodamine *** was found that deposition of Ag on Co_3O_4 highly enhanced the photo-catalytic activity of Co_3O_***-catalytic degradation followed the Eley–Rideal *** 100% and 91% photo-degradation of 40 ml dye solution achieved at 313 K in 90 and 120 min over 0.05 g of Ag-Co_3O_4 as photo-catalyst using 100 and 200 mg·L^(-1) as initial concentration of dye respectively.

This paper is about short review of earthquake statistics and efforts for earthquake mitigation, hazard and risk assessment studies in Pakistan. Pakistan and adjoining region lying between longitude 60°E to 78°E and latitude 20°N to 45°N are selected for the study as this region has a history of many large earthquakes because of its location in the region of intersection of three plates namely Indian, Eurasian and Arabian Sea plate. This paper is based on the study of both seismological history of the region which includes recent and historical seismicity based on earthquake catalogue as well as geological knowledge supplemented with available fault system information. In this study, Pakistan and adjoining regions are divided into 14 seismogenic zones. Seismicity of each zone is studied considering also the major cities in the respective zone and type of infrastructure which is mainly responsible for earthquake disaster rather than earthquake itself.

In this paper, we extensively studied a mathematical model of biology. It helps us to understand the dynamical procedure of population changes in biological population model and provides valuable predictions. In this model, we establish a variety of exact solutions. To study the exact solutions, we used a fractional complex transform to convert the particular partial differential equation of fractional order into corresponding partial differential equation and modified exp-function method is implemented to investigate the nonlinear equation. Graphical demonstrations along with the numerical data reinforce the efficacy of the used procedure. The specified idea is very effective, unfailing, well-organized and pragmatic for fractional PDEs and could be protracted to further physical happenings.

Soil salinity is a wo rldwide issue and a major threat to global food *** tolerance is a complex mechanism that is conferred by numerous molecular,physiological,and biochemical *** critical importance are plant's ability to regulate redox balance without compromising reactive oxygen species(ROS)signalling and maintain cytosolic ion *** this study,the mechanistic basis of H^(+) retention ability in leaf mesophyll(an important but highly sensitive plant tissue)was compared between halophytic quinoa and glycophytic *** data showed quinoa outperformed spinach under 100 to 500 mmol L^(-1) NaCl *** major difference behind this differential salinity sensitivity was a differential H^(+) uptake in leaf *** and molecular experiments revealed that a superior ability of mesophyll H^(+) retention in quinoa was conferred by three complementary mechanisms:(ⅰ)an intrinsically lower H^(+)-ATPase activity in quinoa(potentially as an energy saving strategy);(ⅱ)reduced sensitivity of H^(+) transporters to ROS;and(ⅲ)increased sensitivity of ROS-inducible Ca^(2+)-permeable channels,Moreover,the sensitivity of H^(+)-transport systems to ROS was further examined in NaCl-acclimated quinoa and spinach *** key factors differentiating between H^(+) retention in acclimated leaf mesophyll was associated with the reduced sensitivity and gene expression of H^(+)-permeable outward rectifying channel(GORK),Arabidopsis potassium transporter 1(AKT1),and high affinity potassium transporter 5(HAK5)to additional NaCl and ROS stress,along with the upregulation of ROS scavenging *** together,our results showed that the tissue-specific and ROS-specific regulation of H^(+) retention are important for conferring salinity tolerant at least in the halophyte quinoa.

Electricity theft is one of the major issues in developing countries which is affecting their economy *** with the introduction of emerging technologies,this issue became more *** many new energy theft detection(ETD)techniques have been proposed by utilising different data mining(DM)techniques,state&network(S&N)based techniques,and game theory(GT)***,a detailed survey is presented where many state-of-the-art ETD techniques are studied and analysed for their strengths and *** levels of taxonomy are presented to classify state-of-the-art ETD *** types and ways of energy theft and their consequences are studied and summarised and different parameters to benchmark the performance of proposed techniques are extracted from *** challenges of different ETD techniques and their mitigation are suggested for future *** is observed that the literature on ETD lacks knowledge management techniques that can be more effective,not only for ETD but also for theft *** can help in the prevention of energy theft,in the future,as well as for ETD.
