This paper reports the synthesis of CTAB mediated CSA doped PANI and GN/GNP@ PANI composite nanofibers. The as synthesized composite nanofibers were examined by TEM, SEM, XRD, Raman spectroscopy; UV–visible diffused reflectance spectroscopy and TGA. The CTAB mediated CSA doped composite nanofibers showed 59% higher DC electrical conductivity at ambient temperature than that of PANI,which might be due to the enhancement in the mobility of the charge carriers and reduction in hopping distance in the composite system. The CTAB mediated CSA doped composite nanofibers compared to PANI was observed to be showing enhanced DC electrical conductivity retention after various cycles of heating, suggesting an enhancement in thermal stability of the composite structure, which could be attributed to the synergistic effect of GN,GNP and PANI. Additionally, the composite nanofibers showed greater electrochemical activity and better capacitive performance and reduced optical bandgap than that of PANI.

The wind turbine has the advantage of operating uninterruptedly, which ensures a constant source of electricity. This investigation includes a clear overview of the wind velocity, the flow direction;the amount of energy reserved, suitable regions for wind turbine installation, etc. The feasibility and possibility of installing a wind energy conversion system for several locations in Bangladesh are analyzed. A brief study of wind characteristics in different locations in Bangladesh is reported. Wind data obtained from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) for Mongla, Patuakhali, Kutubdia, and Bhola stations are analyzed through wind rose, frequency distribution, and average wind velocity. The performance of suitable small-scale wind turbines will be assessed in order to confirm the prospect of wind turbines in Bangladesh.

Objective:To investigate the effects of ethanolic extract of Lagenaria siceraria fruit(ELSF) on fat amassment and serum TNF-αin high-fat diet-induced obese ***:The high fat diet induced obese rals were orally treated with orlistat(50 mg/kg) and ELSF(100,200.300 mg/kg/day) to the respective treatment *** body weight,lasting blood glucose level,lipid profile, serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) in rats were measured after 30 days of treatment adn compared to the obese control ***:ELSF significantly(P < 0.001) reduced the body weight gain,fasting blood glucose,total cholesterol,triglyceride,total protein and TNF-α.Conclusions:These encouraging findings suggest that Lagenaria siceraria has excellent pharmacological potential to prevent fat amassment.

Water pollution accidents, such as the Flint water crisis in the United States, caused by lead contamination have raised concern on the safety of drinking water distribution systems. Thus, the routine monitoring of lead in water is highly required and demands efficient, sensitive, cost-effective, and reliable lead detection methods. This study reports a label-free colorimetric nanosensor that uses unmodified gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) as indicators to enable rapid and ultra-sensitive detection of lead in environmental water. The 8-17 DNAzyme was truncated in this study to facilitate the detachment of single-stranded DNA fragments after substrate cleavage in the presence of Pb「. The detached fragments were adsorbed over AuNPs and protected against salt concentration-induced aggregation. Accordingly, high Pb^2+ would result in rapid color change from blue to pink. The established sensing principle achieved a sensitive limit of detection of 0.2×10^-9mol/L Pb^2+. with a linear working range of two orders of magnitude from 0.5×10^-9mol/L to 5×10^-9mol/L. The selectivity of the nanosensor was demonstrated by evaluating the interfering metal ions. The developed nanosensor can serve as a substitute for the rapid analysis and monitoring of trace lead levels under the drinking water distribution system and even other environmental water samples.

Fishery stock assessment of Kiddi shrimp (Parapenaeopsis stylifera) in the Northern Arabian Sea Coast of Pakistan by using surplus production models

Pakistani marine waters are under an open access *** to poor management and policy implications,blind fishing is continued which may result in ecological as well as economic ***,it is of utmost importance to estimate fishery resources before *** this study,catch and effort data,1996-2009,of Kiddi shrimp Parapenaeopsis stylifera fishery from Pakistani marine waters was analyzed by using specialized fishery software in order to know fishery stock status of this commercially important ***,minimum and average capture production of *** was observed as 15 912 metric tons(mt)(1997),9 438 mt(2009) and 11 667 mt/*** stock assessment tools ***(catch and effort data analysis) and ASPIC(a stock production model incorporating covariates) were used to compute MSY(maximum sustainable yield) of this *** CEDA,three surplus production models,Fox,Schaefer and Pella-Tomlinson,along with three error assumptions,log,log normal and gamma,were *** initial proportion(IP) 0.8,the Fox model computed MSY as 6 858 mt(CV=0.204,R^2=0.709) and 7 384 mt(CV=0.149,R^2=0.72) for log and log normal error assumption ***,gamma error produced minimization *** MSY by using Schaefer and Pella-Tomlinson models remained the same for log,log normal and gamma error assumptions i.e.7 083 mt,8 209 mt and 7 242 mt *** Schafer results showed highest goodness of fit R^2(0.712) *** computed MSY,CV,R^2,F_(MSY)and B_(MSY) parameters for the Fox model as 7 219 mt,0.142,0.872,0.111 and 65 280,while for the Logistic model the computed values remained 7 720 mt,0.148,0.868,0.107 and 72 110 *** obtained have shown that *** has been *** steps are needed to conserve this fishery resource for the future and research on other species of commercial importance is urgently needed.

Supercritical carbon dioxide extraction of Triognella foenum graecum Linn seeds:Determination of bioactive compounds and pharmacological analysis

Objective: To investigate the effect of temperature and pressure on supercritical CO_2 extraction of Triognella foenum graecum Linn seeds, to determine the optimal condition which leads to highest percentage of the accumulative yield and revealing the chemical composition of supercritical CO_2 ***: Temperatures in the range of 40–60C and pressures in the range of 10–25 MPa were used. FTIR and GC–MS analysis were used to detect the bioactive compounds present in the extract. The broth dilution method and slope method were used to evaluate the anti-microbial and anti-tuberculosis activities and the in vitro anti-malarial assay was carried out according to the micro assay protocol of Rieckmann and his ***: The temperature was more affected than the pressure on the extraction performance and the highest yield of the extract(3.111%) was attained at 60C and 10 *** and GC–MS showed that the chemical composition of the extract included conjugated linoleic acid methyl ester as the major active principle(with concentration of72.28%), followed by saturated fatty acid methyl esters(16.03%), steroids(8.09%) and organic siloxane compound(3.61%). The extract showed moderate anti-bacterial activity with MIC values 100, 250, 125 mg/m L towards Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenus respectively. It exhibited high inhibition effect towards the fungi Candida albican with MFC value(250 mg/m L). The extract had low antituberculosis activity with MIC value(100 mg/m L) and comparable MIC value(0.29 mg/m L) towards Plasmodium ***: Supercritical CO_2 extraction as alternate and green technology is performed successfully to extract the bioactive compounds from the seeds of T. foenum graecum Linn and it is concluded that this extract can be used as an alternate source of synthetic anti-biotic drugs.
