AIM： To investigate the presence of Helicobacter species by nested PCR of 16S rRNA genes followed by the presence of Flelicobacter pylori （H pylori） 16S rRNA, ureA, cagA genes in bile obtained at endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography （ERCP） from 60 Indian subjects. METHODS： Sixty bile samples were obtained from patients diagnosed with various hepato-biliary diseases and control subjects at ERCP. PCR analysis was carried out using primers for Helicobacter genus 16S rRNA gene and H pylori （16S rRNA, urea and cagA） genes. Gastric H pylori status was also assessed from biopsies obtained at endoscopy from patients with various hepatobiliary diseases and controls. The control group mainly consisted of subjects with gastric disorders. Sequencing analysis was performed to confirm that PCR products with 16S rRNA and cagA primers were derived from H pylori. RESULTS No Helicobacters were grown in culture from the bile samples. Helicobacter DNA was detected in bile of 96.7% and 6.6% of groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ respectively. Ten from group Ⅰ were positive for 16S rRNA and ureA and 9 were positive for cagA gene. In contrast of the 2 from the control, 1 amplified with 16S rRNA, ureA and cagA primers used. The sequences of the 16S rRNA genes and cagA were 99% similar to Helicobacter pylori. CONCLUSION： Helicobacters are associated with the pathogenesis of various hepato-biliary disorders.

Video surveillance is an active research topic in computer *** this paper,humans and cars identifcation technique suitable for real time video surveillance systems is *** technique we proposed includes background subtraction,foreground segmentation,shadow removal,feature extraction and *** feature extraction of the extracted foreground objects is done via a new set of afne moment invariants based on statistics method and these were used to identify human or *** the partial occlusion occurs,although features of full body cannot be extracted,our proposed technique extracts the features of head *** proposed technique can identify human by extracting the human head-shoulder up to 60%–70%***,it has a better classifcation to solve the issue of the loss of property arising from human occluded easily in practical *** whole system works at approximately 16 29 fps and thus it is suitable for real-time *** accuracy for our proposed technique in identifying human is very good,which is 98.33%,while for cars identifcation,the accuracy is also good,which is 94.41%.The overall accuracy for our proposed technique in identifying human and car is at 98.04%.The experiment results show that this method is efective and has strong robustness.

This paper proposes a new dielectric resonator antenna(DRA)design that can generate circularly polarized(CP)triple-band *** CP DRA antenna fed by a probe feed system is achieved with metal strips structure on side of DRA *** design start with conventional rectangular DRA with F shaped metal strips on DRA structure alongside the ***,the F metal strip is enhanced by extending the length of the metal strip to obtain wider impedance *** improvement on the antenna performance is observed by improvised the conventional DRA *** method of removing part of DRA bottom resulted to higher antenna gain with triple band *** primary features of the proposed DRA include wide impedance matching bandwidth(BW)and broadband circular polarization(CP).The primary features of the proposedDRAinclude wide impedance matching bandwidth(BW)and broadband circular polarization(CP).The CP BW values recorded by the proposed antenna were∼11.27%(3.3–3.65 GHz),12.18%(4.17–4.69 GHz),and 1.74%(6.44–6.55 GHz)for impedance-matching BW values of 35.4%(3.3–4.69 GHz),1.74%(5.36–5.44 GHz),and 1.85%(6.41–6.55 GHz)with peak gains of 6.8 dBic,7.6 dBic,and 8.5 dBic,respectively,in the lower,central,and upper *** prototype of the proposed antenna geometry was fabricated and measured.A good agreement was noted between the simulated and the measured results.

Dairy farm management is crucial to maintain the longevity of the farm,and poor dairy youngstock or calf management could lead to gradually deteriorating calf health,which often causes premature *** was found to be the most neglected part among the management workflows in Malaysia and has caused continuous loss over the recent *** posture recognition is one of the effective methods to monitor calf behaviour and health state,which can be achieved by monitoring the calf behaviours of standing and lying where the former depicts active calf,and the latter,passive *** posture recognition module is an important component of some automated calf monitoring systems,as the system requires the calf to be in a standing posture before proceeding to the next stage of monitoring,or at the very least,to monitor the activeness of the *** posture such as standing or resting can easily be distinguished by human eye,however,to be recognized by a machine,it will require more complicated frameworks,particularly one that involves a deep learning neural networks *** number of highquality images are required to train a deep learning model for such *** this paper,multiple ConvolutionalNeuralNetwork(CNN)architectures were compared,and the residual network(ResNet)model(specifically,ResNet-50)was ultimately chosen due to its simplicity,great performance,and decent inference *** ResNet-50 models having the exact same architecture and configuration have been trained on two different image datasets respectively sourced by separate cameras placed at different *** were two camera placements to use for comparison because camera placements can significantly impact the quality of the images,which is highly correlated to the deep learning model *** model training,the performance for both CNN models were 99.7%and 99.99%accuracies,respectively,and is adequate for a real-time calf monitoring system.

In this study, the properties of hip implant material and lubricants were examined using a pin on disc apparatus, to compare the effect of metal-on-metal （MoM） contact with a bio-lubricant derived from palm oil. The behaviour of the lubricants was observed during the experiments, in which a hemispherical pin was loaded against a rotating disc with a groove. A titanium alloy was used to modify the hemispherical pin and disc. Before and after the experiments, the weight and surface roughness were analysed, to detect any degradation. The results were compared according to the different kinematic viscosities. The wear rates and level of friction with each lubricant were also examined. The lubricant with the highest vis- cosity had the lowest frictional value. Therefore, develop- ing suitable lubricants has the potential to prolong the lifespan of prostheses or implants used in biomedical applications. The experiments collectively show that lubricants derived from palm oil could be used as efficient bio-lubricants in the future.

Vigorous and continued efforts by researchers and engineers have contributed towards maintaining environmental sustainability through the utilization of waste materials in civil engineering applications as an alternative to natural *** this study,granite aggregates in asphaltic mixes were replaced by electric arc furnace(EAF)steel slag aggregates with different proportions to identify the best combination in terms of superior *** mixtures showing the best performance were further reinforced with polyvinyl alcohol(PVA),acrylic,and polyester fibers at the dosages of 0.05%,0.15%,and 0.3%by weight of the *** performance tests of this study were resilient modulus,moisture susceptibility,and indirect tensile fatigue cracking *** findings of this study revealed that the asphalt mixtures containing coarse steel slag aggregate exhibited the best performance in comparison with the other ***,the reinforced asphalt mixtures with synthetic fibers at the content of 0.05%exhibited an almost comparable performance to the unreinforced asphalt *** the asphalt mixtures with PVA,acrylic,and polyester fibers at the proportion of 0.15%have improved the fatigue cracking resistance by 41.13%,29.87%,and 18.97%,***,the fiber-modified asphalt mixtures with PVA,acrylic,and polyester have enhanced the fatigue cracking resistance by about 57%,44%,and 39%,*** results of the resilient modulus demonstrated that as the fiber content increase,the resilient modulus of the reinforced asphalt mixtures ***,introducing synthetic fibers at the content of 0.3%has slightly decreased the resilient modulus in comparison with unreinforced *** the other hand,the results of the mechanisticempirical pavement design showed that the reinforced asphalt mixes with a high content of synthetic fibers have shown lower service life than the control mixes due to the low resilient *** the contra

采用ZnCl2对橡胶木屑进行化学活化制备出活性炭。ZnCl2与橡胶木屑的浸渍质量比为1.0-2.0,活化温度为500℃,时间为60min。通过扫描电镜、X射线衍射和BET比表面分析仪探讨浸渍比例对活性炭孔结构的影响。结果表明,当浸渍比为1.5∶1时,样品的比表面积和孔径分别为1301m2/g和0.37cm3/g。通过化学发泡工艺将不同质量分数(1%,2%,3%,5%,8%)的活性炭填充至聚氨酯中制备出聚氨酯复合材料。在1-5GHz频率范围内,复合材料吸收微波。随着活性炭含量增加,在1-3GHz范围内,介电常数(ε’)和回波损耗增加。活性炭含量为8%时复合材料的介电常数达到最大值3.0。在1.8GHz时,复合材料的回波损耗为10dB。在-2.5GHz,电磁屏蔽效率大于3dB。与传统聚合物材料如填加金属的聚氨酯和聚酯相比,所制复合材料呈微波段吸收,可作为电磁屏蔽材料。

Optical Path Length,Temperature,and Wavelength Effects Simulation on Ozone Gas Absorption Cross Sections towards Green Communications

Ozone is a green house gas. Ozone absorption cross sections have been reported with discrepancies and inconsistencies. In this paper, simultaneous effects of the optical path length and temperature variations on ozone gas absorption cross sections are investigated at different wavelengths. HITRAN 2012, the latest available line list on *** simulator, is used in this study to simulate ozone gas absorption cross sections in relation to the simultaneous effects of the optical path length and temperature at the wavelengths of 603 nm and 575 nm. Results obtained for gas cells with the optical path length from 10 cm to 120 cm show that the decrease in temperatures from 313 K to 103 K results in the increase in ozone gas absorption cross sections. At wavelengths of 603 nm and 575 nm, the percentage increase of ozone gas absorption cross sections is 1.22% and 0.71%, respectively. Results obtained in this study show that in the visible spectrum, at constant pressure, ozone gas absorption cross sections are dependent on the temperature and wavelength but do not depend on the optical path length. Analysis in this work addresses discrepancies in ozone gas absorption cross sections in relation to the temperature in the visible spectrum; thus, the results can be applied to get optimal configuration of high accuracy ozone gas sensors.

This article introduces a novel,ultrawideband(UWB)planar monopole antenna printed on Roger RT/5880 substrate in a compact size for small Internet of Things(IoT)*** total electrical dimensions of the proposed compact UWB antenna are 0.19λo×0.215λo×0.0196λo with the overall physical sizes of 15 mm×17 mm×1.548 mm at the lower resonance frequency of 3.8 *** planar monopole antenna is fed through the linearly tapered microstrip line on a partially structured ground plane to achieve optimum impedance matching for UWB *** proposed compact UWB antenna has an operation bandwidth of 9.53 GHz from 3.026 GHz up to 12.556 GHz at−10 dB return loss with a fractional bandwidth(FBW)of about 122%.The numerically computed and experimentally measured results agree well in between.A detailed time-domain analysis is additionally accomplished to verify the radiation efficiency of the proposed antenna design for the ultra-wideband signal *** fabricated prototype of a compact UWB antenna exhibits an omnidirectional radiation pattern with the low peak measured gain required of 2.55 dBi at 10 GHz and promising radiation efficiency of 90%.The proposed compact planar antenna has technical potential to be utilized in UWB and IoT applications.
