Rogue nodes broadcasting false information in beacon messages may lead to catastrophic consequences in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks(VANETs).Previous researchers used cryptography,trust scores,or past vehicle data to detect rogue nodes;however,these methods suffer from high processing delay,overhead,and False–Positive Rate(FPR).We propose herein Greenshield's traffic model–based fog computing scheme called Fog–based Rogue Node Detection(F–RouND),which dynamically utilizes the On–Board Units(OBUs)of all vehicles in the region for rogue node *** aim to reduce the data processing delays and FPR in detecting rogue nodes at high vehicle *** performance of the F–RouND framework was evaluated via *** show that the F–RouND framework ensures 45%lower processing delays,12%lower overhead,and 36%lower FPR at the urban scenario than the existing rogue node detection schemes even when the number of rogue nodes increases by up to 40%in the region.

Dynamic cone penetrometer（DCP） has been used for decades to estimate the shear strength and stiffness properties of the subgrade soils. There are several empirical correlations in the literature to predict the resilient modulus values at only a specific stress state from DCP data, corresponding to the predefined thicknesses of pavement layers（a 50 mm asphalt wearing course, a 100 mm asphalt binder course and a200 mm aggregate base course）. In this study, field-measured DCP data were utilized to estimate the resilient modulus of low-plasticity subgrade Piedmont residual soil. Piedmont residual soils are in-place weathered soils from igneous and metamorphic rocks, as opposed to transported or compacted *** the existing empirical correlations might not be applicable for these soils. An experimental program was conducted incorporating field DCP and laboratory resilient modulus tests on "undisturbed" soil specimens. The DCP tests were carried out at various locations in four test sections to evaluate subgrade stiffness variation laterally and with depth. Laboratory resilient modulus test results were analyzed in the context of the mechanistic-empirical pavement design guide（MEPDG） recommended universal constitutive model. A new approach for predicting the resilient modulus from DCP by estimating MEPDG constitutive model coefficients（k;,k;and k;） was developed through statistical analyses. The new model is capable of not only taking into account the in situ soil condition on the basis of field measurements,but also representing the resilient modulus at any stress state which addresses a limitation with existing empirical DCP models and its applicability for a specific case. Validation of the model is demonstrated by using data that were not used for model development, as well as data reported in the literature.

Many environment problems of the full using of several categories of processing include mining,heat generators,direct combustion of forest fires,cement production,power plant,transport,medical ***/furan releases from these categories are one of these environment *** lines of reducing the PCDD/PCDF (Polychlorinated dibenzo-para-dioxins/Polychlorinated dibenzofurans) releases from these categories are *** contribution of this paper is present the identification and estimation of the latest figure of dioxin/furan releases in the climate of environment of Jordan in the period 2000-2008 from the following categories (cement,aluminum,ceramic,medical waste,power plant,land fill,ferrous and non-ferrous metals,uncontrolled combustion process (biomass burning,waste burning,accidental fires in house,transport).These finding shows the sign of growth of estimated PCDD/PCDF releases from categories which did not calculated and followed after *** result shows the highest PCDD/PCDF release from landfill fires (62.75 g TEQ/year),medical waste (8.8264 g TEQ/year),and transport (3.0145 g TEQ/year).Jordan seeks by next years,a reduction in total releases of dioxins and furans from sources resulting from human *** challenge will apply to the aggregate of releases to the air nationwide and of releases to the water within the Jordan *** should conduct air monitoring for dioxin in order to track fluctuations in atmospheric deposition levels.

In order to assess influential nodes in complex networks, the authors propose a novel ranking method based on structural hole in combination with the degree ratio of a node and its neighbors. The proposed method is a response to the limitations of other proposed measures in this field. The structural hole gives a comprehensive attention of the information about the node topology in relation to its neighbors, whereas the degree ratio of nodes reflects its significance against the *** of the two aforementioned measures summarized in the structural hole leverage matrix demonstrates the importance of a node according to its position in the network structure. so a more accurate method for ranking influential nodes is established. The simulation results over different-scale networks(small networks with less than 30 nodes, medium networks with less than 150 nodes and large networks with more than 1000 nodes) suggest that the proposed method can rank important nodes more effectively and precisely in complex networks specifically in larger ones.

Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)is one of the leading technologies for 5G *** pairing(UP)and power allocation(PA)are the key controlling mechanisms for the optimization of the performance of NOMA *** paper presents a novel UP and PA(UPPA)technique for capacity and fairness maximization in NOMA called(CFM-UPPA).The impact of the power allocation coefficient and the ratio between the channel gains of the paired users on the sum-rate capacity and the fairness in NOMA is firstly ***,based on this investigation,the PA and UP algorithms of the CFM-UPPA technique are *** power allocation coefficient of the proposed PA is formulated as an exponentially decaying function of the ratio between the channel gains of the paired users to maximize the capacity and the fairness,and its maximum value is adjusted to guarantee the successive interference cancellation(sIC)*** proposed UP is based on selecting the user that has the highest channel gain per subcarrier as the strong user to maximize the capacity and selecting the user that has the closest lower channel gain to the strong user’s channel gain as the weak user to improve the fairness and *** performance evaluation of the proposed CFM-UPPA technique in terms of capacity,fairness,and outage probability demonstrates that its performance significantly outperforms that of the orthogonal multiple access(OMA)system and that of the NOMA system with random ***,the simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed PA in improving the performance of other UP algorithms,such as the random UP algorithm.

Recently,most wave energy research has targeted sea areas with high power density under extreme wave conditions for *** trend often leads to higher energy costs for wave power ***,many marine areas with low power density,characterized by wavelet conditions and less destructive forces than extreme wave conditions,remain ***,this study aimed to propose a wave-activated body model for sea regions with wavelet *** wave-activated body design process encompassed site selection,parameter determination,geometry design,comparison and performance evaluation using the ANsYs®AQWA *** results indicated that the proposed device achieved the desired heave motion,with an amplitude range of 1.2 to-2.5 m,validating its potential for deployment in marine regions with wavelet ***,while the proposed design is optimized for wavelet conditions,it was found to have potential limitations in extreme wave *** observation emphasizes the challenge of formulating a generalized design suitable for both ***,it is pivotal for wave-activated body designs to be customized based on the specific ocean conditions they target,underscoring the need for specialized designs of wave energy converters that consider the unique wave characteristics of their deployment sites.
