The PCDD/PCDF Dioxin Releases in the Climate of Environment of Jordan in the Period (2000-2008)

Many environment problems of the full using of several categories of processing include mining,heat generators,direct combustion of forest fires,cement production,power plant,transport,medical ***/furan releases from these categories are one of these environment *** lines of reducing the PCDD/PCDF (Polychlorinated dibenzo-para-dioxins/Polychlorinated dibenzofurans) releases from these categories are *** contribution of this paper is present the identification and estimation of the latest figure of dioxin/furan releases in the climate of environment of Jordan in the period 2000-2008 from the following categories (cement,aluminum,ceramic,medical waste,power plant,land fill,ferrous and non-ferrous metals,uncontrolled combustion process (biomass burning,waste burning,accidental fires in house,transport).These finding shows the sign of growth of estimated PCDD/PCDF releases from categories which did not calculated and followed after *** result shows the highest PCDD/PCDF release from landfill fires (62.75 g TEQ/year),medical waste (8.8264 g TEQ/year),and transport (3.0145 g TEQ/year).Jordan seeks by next years,a reduction in total releases of dioxins and furans from sources resulting from human *** challenge will apply to the aggregate of releases to the air nationwide and of releases to the water within the Jordan *** should conduct air monitoring for dioxin in order to track fluctuations in atmospheric deposition levels.

The Unit Commitment Problem(UCP)corresponds to the planning of power generation *** objective of the fuel-based unit commitment problem is to determine the optimal schedule of power generators needed to meet the power demand,which also minimizes the total operating cost while adhering to different constraints such as power generation limits,unit startup,and shutdown *** this paper,four different binary variants of the Bald Eagle Search(BES)algorithm,were introduced,which used two variants using S-shape,U-shape,and V-shape transfer *** addition,the best-performing variant(using an S-shape transfer function)was selected and improved further by incorporating two binary operators:swap-window and *** variation is labeled Improved Binary Bald Eagle Search(IBBESS2).All five variants of the proposed algorithm were successfully adopted to solve the fuel-based unit commitment problem using seven test cases of 4-,10-,20-,40-,60-,80-,and *** comparative evaluation,34 comparative methods from existing literature were compared,in which IBBESS2 achieved competitive scores against other optimization *** other words,the proposed IBBESS2 performs better than all other competitors by achieving the best average scores in 20-,40-,60-,80-,and 100-unit ***,IBBESS2 demonstrated quicker convergence to an optimal solution than other algorithms,especially in large-scale unit commitment *** Friedman statistical test further validates the results,where the proposed IBBESS2 is ranked the *** conclusion,the proposed IBBESS2 can be considered a powerful method for solving large-scale UCP and other related problems.

Tuning the electronic structure of the electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is a promising way to achieve efficient alkaline water splitting for clean energy production(H2).At first,this paper introduces the significance of the tuning of electronic structure,where modifying the electronic structure of the electrocatalysts could generate active sites having optimal adsorption energy with OER intermediates,and that could diminish the energy barrier for OER,and that could improve the activity for ***,this paper reviews the tuning of electronic structure along with catalytic performances,synthetic methodologies,chemical properties,and DFT calculations on various nanostructured earth-abundant electrocatalysts for OER in alkaline ***,this review discusses the tuning of the electronic structure of the several nanostructured earth-abundant electrocatalysts including oxide,(oxy)hydroxide,layered double hydroxide,alloy,metal phosphide/phosphate,nitride,sulfide,selenide,carbon containing materials,MOF,core-shell/hetero/hollow structured materials,and materials with vacancies/defects for OER in alkaline environment(including activity:overpotential(η)of ≤200 mV at10 m A cm^(-2);stability:≥100 h;durability:≥5000 cycles).Then,this review discusses the robust stability of the electrocatalysts for OER towards practical ***,this review discusses the in situ formation of thin layer on the catalyst surface during *** addition,this review discusses the influence of the adsorption energy of the OER intermediates on OER performance of the ***,this review summarizes the various promising strategies for tuning the electronic structure of the electrocatalysts to achieve enhanced performance for OER in alkaline environment.

The term IoT refers to the interconnection and exchange of data among devices/*** devices are often small,low cost,and have limited *** IoT issues and challenges are growing *** and privacy issues are among the most important concerns in IoT applications,such as smart *** cybersecurity attacks are the attacks which do not require physical access to the IoT networks,where the attacker can remotely access and communicate with the IoT devices through a wireless communication ***,remote cybersecurity attacks are a significant *** applications in smart environments such as smart buildings require remote access for both users and *** the user/building communication channel is insecure,a lightweight and secure authentication protocol is *** this paper,we propose a new secure remote user mutual authentication protocol based on transitory identities and multi-factor authentication for IoT smart building *** protocol ensures that only legitimate users can authenticate with smart building controllers in an anonymous,unlinkable,and untraceable *** protocol also avoids clock synchronization problem and can resist quantum computing *** security of the protocol is evaluated using two different methods:(1)informal analysis;(2)model check using the automated validation of internet security protocols and applications(AVISPA)*** communication overhead and computational cost of the proposed are *** security and performance analysis show that our protocol is secure and efficient.

This research involves the preparation ofa biosensor using silicon oxide for biomedical applications, and its effective use for the detection of target DNA hybridization. An electrochemical DNA biosensor was successfully fabricated by using （3-aminopropyl） tri-ethoxysilane （APTES） as a linker molecule combined with gold nanoparticles （GNPs） on a thermally oxidized 5i02 thin film. The size of the GNPs was calculated by utilizing UV-vis data with an average calculated particle size within the range of 30 - 5 nm, and characterization by transmission electron microscopy （TEM） and atomic force microscopy （AFM）. The GNP-modified SiO2 thin films were electrically characterized through the measurement of capacitance, permittivity and conductivity using a low-cost dielectric analyzer. The capacitance, permittivity and conductivity profiles of the fabricated sensor clearly differentiated DNA immobilization and hybridization.

Non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)has been seen as a promising technology for 5G *** performance optimization of NOMA systems depends on both power allocation(PA)and user pairing(UP).Most existing researches provide sub-optimal solutions with high computational complexity for PA problem and mainly focuses onmaximizing the sum rate(capacity)without considering the fairness ***,the joint optimization of PA and UP needs an exhaustive *** main contribution of this paper is the proposing of a novel capacity maximizationbased fair power allocation(CMFPA)with low-complexity in downlink *** investigation and analysis of the joint impact of signal to noise ratio(SNR)per subcarrier and the channel gains of the paired users on the performance of NOMA in terms of the capacity and the user fairness is ***,a closed-form equation for the power allocation coefficient of CMFPA as a function of SNR,and the channel gains of the paired users is *** addition,to jointly optimizeUP and PAinNOMA systems an efficient low-complexity UP(ELCUP)method is proposed to be incorporated with the proposed CMFPA to compromise the proposed joint resource allocation(JRA).Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed CMFPA can improve the capacity and fairness performance of existing UP methods,such as conventional UP,and random UP ***,the simulation results show that the proposed JRA significantly outperforms the existing schemes and gives a near-optimal performance.

Transition metal carbides,known as MXenes,particularly Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x),have been extensively explored as promising materials for electrochemical ***,transition metal carbonitride MXenes with high nitrogen content for electrochemical reactions are rarely *** this work,transition metal carbonitride MXenes incorporated with Pt-based electrocatalysts,ranging from single atoms to sub-nanometer dimensions,are explored for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).The fabricated Pt clusters/MXene catalyst exhibits superior HER performance compared to the single-atom-incorporated MXene and commercial Pt/C catalyst in both acidic and alkaline *** optimized sample shows low overpotentials of 28,65,and 154 mV at a current densities of 10,100,and 500 m A cm^(-2),a small Tafel slope of 29 m V dec^(-1),a high mass activity of 1203 mA mgPt^(-1)and an excellent turnover frequency of 6.1 s^(-1)in the acidic *** functional theory calculations indicate that this high performance can be attributed to the enhanced active sites,increased surface functional groups,faster charge transfer dynamics,and stronger electronic interaction between Pt and MXene,resulting in optimized hydrogen absorption/desorption toward better *** work demonstrates that MXenes with a high content of nitrogen may be promising candidates for various catalytic reactions by incorporating single atoms or clusters.

One of the most rapidly growing areas in the last few years is the Internet of Things(IoT),which has been used in widespread fields such as healthcare,smart homes,and *** is one of the most popular operating systems(OS)used by IoT devices for communication and data *** OS captured more than 70 percent of the market share in *** of the popularity of the Android OS,it has been targeted by cybercriminals who have introduced a number of issues,such as stealing private *** reported by one of the recent studies Androidmalware are developed almost every 10 ***,due to this huge exploitation an accurate and secure detection system is needed to secure the communication and data exchange in Android IoT *** paper introduces Droid-IoT,a collaborative framework to detect Android IoT malicious applications by using the blockchain ***-IoT consists of four main engines:(i)collaborative reporting engine,(ii)static analysis engine,(iii)detection engine,and(iv)blockchain *** engine contributes to the detection and minimization of the risk of malicious applications and the reporting of any malicious *** features are extracted automatically fromthe inspected applications to be classified by the machine learning model and store the results into the *** performance of Droid-IoT was evaluated by analyzing more than 6000 Android applications and comparing the detection rate of Droid-IoT with the state-of-the-art ***-IoT achieved a detection rate of 97.74%with a low false positive rate by using an extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)classifier.
