Room Temperature Synthesis of Vertically Aligned Amorphous Ultrathin NiCo-LDH Nanosheets Bifunctional Flexible Supercapacitor Electrodes

Developing a simple scalable method to fabricate electrodes with high capacity and wide voltage range is desired for the real use of electrochemical supercapacitors. Herein, we synthesized amorphous Ni Co-LDH nanosheets vertically aligned on activated carbon cloth substrate, which was in situ transformed from Co-metal–organic framework materials nano-columns by a simple ion exchange process at room temperature. Due to the amorphous and vertically aligned ultrathin structure of Ni Co-LDH, the Ni Co-LDH/activated carbon cloth composites present high areal capacities of 3770 and1480 m F cm-2as cathode and anode at 2 m A cm-2, and 79.5% and 80%capacity have been preserved at 50 m A cm-2. In the meantime, they all showed excellent cycling performance with negligible change after>10 000 cycles. By fabricating them into an asymmetric supercapacitor, the device achieves high energy densities(5.61 m Wh cm-2and 0.352 m W cm-3).This work provides an innovative strategy for simplifying the design of supercapacitors as well as providing a new understanding of improving the rate capabilities/cycling stability of Ni Co-LDH materials.

Synthesis and Charcterization of Silane Crosslinked Hydrogel to pH Sensitive Study

Eco-friendly and biodegradable novel hydrogel were prepared by blending and solution casting method. The designed hydrogel is based on chitosan/ PEG600/Gurgam with carbon nanofiller along silane crosslinked (TEOS) with pH sensitive response to controlled release of drug in biomedical materials and agriculture industry. The various concentration of carbon nanofiller is used to analyze its effect on the fabricated hydrogel characteristics by using FTIR, SEM, TGA, swelling studies (water, buffer and ionic solution). Spectra of FTIR reflected both established and newly developed groups (like hydrogel). COOH group presence is clearly observed in this range in the carbon filler reinforced hydrogel. The SEM micrographs show that CPG0.003 had a collection of polysaccharide chains as thin helices, which is attributed to the increase in the size of porosity. TGA shows to increase concentration of nanofiller enhanced the thermal stability of the designed hydrogels at temperature 25˚C to 550˚C mass loss percentage decrease upto 20% and increase thermal stability. This pH response made these resultant hydrogels as fruitful competitor against the many reported controlled release application.

Evaluation of Functional and Radiological Outcome of Arthroscopic-Assisted Anatomical Coracoclavicular (CC) and Acromioclavicular (AC) Ligament Reconstruction in Chronic AC Joint Dislocation

Introduction: Acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocation is a common shoulder injury, comprising 9% - 12% of shoulder girdle injuries. Optimal management remains challenging, with treatment decisions guided by the Rockwood classification system. Controversies surround grade III injuries, necessitating further classification. Non-operative treatment has shown favorable outcomes, while surgical interventions vary. Anatomical coracoclavicular reconstruction (ACCR) has demonstrated biomechanical advantages over traditional methods. Arthroscopic techniques offer advantages, minimizing deltoid detachment and allowing concurrent pathology identification. This study evaluates the outcomes of arthroscopic-assisted ACCR in chronic AC joint dislocation. Surgical Technique: Arthroscopic-assisted ACCR involves meticulous portal placement, tendon graft harvesting, diagnostic arthroscopy, and coracoid exposure. The clavicle tunnels were made to mimic the conoid and trapezoid ligament positions, using FibreTape#2 loop and Dog Bone Button for correct placement against the coracoid base, and passing the semitendinosus graft through to reconstruct the conoid ligament, reduction done and graft follow through for anatomical reconstruction. Methods: A retrospective cohort study at Hospital Kuala Lumpur analyzed 35 patients undergoing arthroscopic-assisted ACCR for Rockwood grade III - V AC joint dislocations. Inclusion criteria encompassed trauma ≥ 3 weeks prior, no prior shoulder injuries, and ≥12-month follow-up. Functional and radiological assessments utilized ASES scores and coracoclavicular distances, respectively. Statistical analysis employed descriptive statistics and logistic regression. Results: The mean age was 38.9 years (SD 11.26), and 34 of 35 patients were male. Grade IV injuries were predominant (37.1%). Waiting time for surgery averaged 234.9 days. 旨在筛选与奶牛乳房健康相关的SNP位点或组合，提升奶牛乳房健康水平，同时促进“一带一路”国家的奶牛业健康发展。本研究基于1 097头中国荷斯坦牛、161头巴基斯坦荷斯坦牛的尾静脉血及116头Achai牛、104头辛地红牛的尾根毛囊，提取基因组DNA，使用奶牛乳房健康分子检测芯片（Chinese Cow' s SNPs Chip-Ⅰ， CCSC-Ⅰ）获得基因型，结合相应DHI数据报告中的乳房健康指标——体细胞数（somatic cell count， SCC）及体细胞评分（somatic cell score， SCS），通过单个SNP和成对SNP关联分析，鉴定有意义的SNP位点或组合。单位点关联分析结果显示，SNP3、6、8、11、19、20在中国荷斯坦牛群体中为显著位点（P＜0.05），针对巴基斯坦奶牛群同样鉴定出SNP3和SNP11为显著位点（P＜0.05）；在成对位点关联分析中，中国荷斯坦牛群体使用大样本（北京、浙江、河北地区牧场）和河北地区样本分别分析，保留稳定的SNP11-SNP15组合，SNP19和SNP20的AA基因型同占优势，针对巴基斯坦荷斯坦牛鉴定了SNP11-SNP2、4、8、9、12、16、19等极显著组合（P＜0.01），而针对巴基斯坦本地奶牛Achai鉴定出了SNP3-SNP11、15等极显著组合（P＜0.01）。本研究结果显示，奶牛乳房健康分子检测芯片具有广泛适用性。SNP11、15、19、20等位点对奶牛乳房健康具有重要影响。在荷斯坦牛群体中，CD4、DGAT1和PTK2基因表现出潜在的乳房炎抗性；而在巴基斯坦本地奶牛中，CD4、DGAT1和TRAPPC9基因则表现出显著的抗性特征。这些发现为未来的精准选育提供了有力的科学依据。
