Nanofibrous acoustic energy harvesters(NAEHs)have emerged as promising wearable platforms for efficient noise-to-electricity conversion in distributed power energy systems and wearable sound amplifiers for assistive listening ***,their reallife efficacy is hampered by low power output,particularly in the low-frequency range(<1 kHz).This study introduces a novel approach to enhance the performance of NAEHs by applying machine learning(ML)techniques to guide the synthesis of electrospun polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)/polyurethane(PU)nanofibers,optimizing their application in wearable *** use a feed-forward neural network along with solving an optimization problem to find the optimal input values of the electrospinning(applied voltage,nozzle-collector distance,electrospinning time,and drum rotation speed)to generate maximum output performance(acoustic-to-electricity conversion efficiency).We first prepared a dataset to train the network to predict the output power given the input variables with high *** introducing the neural network,we fix the network and then solve an optimization problem using a genetic algorithm to search for the input values that lead to the maximum energy harvesting *** ML-guided wearable PVDF/PU NAEH platform can deliver a maximal acoustoelectric power density output of 829μW/cm^(3) within the surrounding noise *** addition,our system can function stably in a broad frequency(0.1-2 kHz)with a high energy conversion efficiency of 66%.Sound recognition analysis reveals a robust correlation exceeding 0.85 among lexically akin terms with varying sound intensities,contrasting with a diminished correlation below 0.27 for words with disparate semantic ***,this work provides a previously unexplored route to utilize ML in advancing wearable NAEHs with excellent practicability.

Plants are capable of reducing environmental pollutions through uptaking contaminants in their tissues. In the study site, twenty one-year-old leaves and shoots as well as twenty soil samples were sampled and analyzed by Inductively Coupled Plasma （ICP）. We investigated the uptaking ability of lead （Pb） and cadmium （Cd） by the leaves and shoots of Platanus orientalis, Robinia pseudoacacia and Fraxinus rotundifolia in Karaj city, the western Tehran, Iran. We also evaluated the total metal accumulation capacity by using metal accumulation index （MAI）. Results indicated that there was no significant difference in uptaking contents of Cd and Pb in the leaves among the trees. However accumulation of Cd in shoots of F. rotundifolia and R. pseudoacacia was significantly higher than that of P. orientalis. The accumulation of Pb in shoots of R. pseudoacacia was significantly higher than the other species. The amount of Pb in the soil of the study area was significantly higher than Cd. Concentrations of Cd and Pb in leaves of the three species are in the ranges of 2.4 2.7 mg Kg-1 and 7.1 14.4 mg Kg-1 , respectively. R. pseudoacacia had the highest MAI value for leaves （2.21） and F. rotundifolia had the highest MAI value for shoots （2.4）.

The electrooxidation of L-cysteine（L-Cys） was studied using a benzoylferrocene（BF） modified multi-wall carbon nanotube paste electrode（BFCNPE） using cyclic voltammetry（CV）,square wave voltammetry（SWV） and chronoamperometry（CHA）.Under optimum pH in CV the oxidation of L-Cys occurs at a potential about 215 mV less positive than that at the surface of unmodified carbon paste *** catalytic oxidation peak currents were dependent on the L-Cys concentration and a linear calibration curve was obtained in the range 0.7-350.0 mmol/L of L-Cys with SWV *** detection limit（3s） was determined as 0.1 mmol/*** method was also used for the determination of L-Cys in some real samples.

Chronic exercise training versus acute endurance exercise in reducing neurotoxicity in rats exposed to lead acetate

After intraperitoneal injection of 20 mg/kg lead acetate, rats received 8 weeks of treadmill exercise （15-22 m/min, 25-64 minutes） and/or treadmill exercise at 1.6 km/h until exhaustion. The markers related to neurotoxicity were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method. 8 weeks of treadmill exercise significantly increased brain-derived neurotrophic factor level in the hippocampus （P = 0.04） and plasma level of total antioxidant capacity of rats exposed to lead acetate （P 〈 0.001）, and significantly decreased plasma level of malondialdehyde （P 〈 0.001）. Acute exercise only decreased the hippocampal malondialdehyde level （P = 0.09） and increased brain-derived neurotrophic factor level in the hippocampus （P = 0.66）. Acute exercise also enhanced the total antioxidant capacity in rats exposed to lead acetate, insignificantly （P = 0.99）, These findings suggest that chronic treadmill exercise can significantly decrease neurotoxicity and alleviate oxidative stress in rats exposed to lead acetate. However, acute endurance exercise was not associated with these beneficial effects.

The present article aims to investigate the Graetz-Nusselt problem for blood as a non-Newtonian fluid obeying the power-law constitutive equation and flowing inside the axisymmetric tube subjected to nonuniform surface heat *** the flow field is determined by solving the continuity and the momentum equations,the energy equation is handled by employing the separation of variables *** resulting Eigen functions and Eigen values are numerically calculated using MATLAB built-in solver *** analysis is first conducted for the situation of constant heat flux and subsequently generalized to apply to the case of sinusoidal variation of wall heat flux along the tube length,using Duhamel’s ***,an approximate analytic solution is determined,employing an integral approach to solve the boundary layer *** respect to the comparison,the results of approximate solution display acceptable congruence with those of exact solution with an average error of 7.4%.Interestingly,with decreasing the power-law index,the discrepancy between the two presented methods significantly ***,the influences of the controlling parameters such as surface heat flux and power-law index on the non-Newtonian fluid flow’s thermal characteristics and structure are elaborately *** is found that switching from constant wall heat flux to non-uniform wall heat flux that sinusoidally varies along the tube length significantly improves the simulation’s accuracy due to the better characterization of the heat transport phenomenon in non-Newtonian fluid flow through the *** the presence of sinusoidally varying wall heat flux with an amplitude of 200 W/m 2 and when the power-law index is 0.25,the maximum arterial wall temperature is found to be about 311.56 K.

In view of the large scientific and technical interest in the microelectromechanical system(MEMS)accelerometer sensor and the limitations of capacitive,resistive piezo,and piezoelectric methods,we focus on the measurement of the seismic mass displacement using a novel design of the all-optical sensor(AOS).The proposed AOS consists of two waveguides and a ring resonator in a two-dimensional rod-based photonic crystal(PhC)microstructure,and a holder which connects the central rod of a nanocavity to a proof *** photonic band structure of the AOS is calculated with the plane-wave expansion approach for TE and TM polarization modes,and the light wave propagation inside the sensor is analyzed by solving MaxwelFs equations using the finite-difference time-domain *** results of our simulations demonstrate that the fundamental PhC has a free spectral range of about 730 nm covering the optical communication *** also show that the AOS has the resonant peak of 0.8 at 1.644μm,quality factor of 3288,full width at half maximum of 0.5nm,and figure of merit of ***,for the maximum 200nm nanocavity displacements in the x-or y-direction,the resonant wavelengths shift to 1.618μm and 1.547μm,*** also calculate all characteristics of the nanocavity displacement in positive and negative directions of the jc-axis and *** small area of 104.35μm^(2)and short propagation time of the AOS make it an interesting sensor for various applications,especially in the vehicle navigation systems and aviation safety tools.

It is believed that it is going to be a sizeable mismatch between supply and demand when it comes to renewable ***,researchers are on course to compensate for the unpredictabilityof such resources by the employment of phase change materials(PCMs).Having multiple advantages,PCMs generally suffer from inadequate thermal conductivity which causes prolonged transition *** tackle this issue,this study is fixated on two parameterswhich are linked to fins addition and porous media incorporation in a melting process within a triple concentric tube heat exchanger(TCTHX).The results provided by multiple cases underlined the significance of natural convection in the bare system,although finned and copper-metal-foam cases outshine buoyancy forces by roughly 45%and 97%,*** is a major determent when it comes to the selection of porous media as Al_(2)O_(3) registered the weakest performance among SiC,Ni and Cu,however,it managed to speed up the process by 75%which still is much higher than the finned system,implying that porous media is of higher priority over *** best scenario transpiredwhile fins and copper metal foam were integrated as 26%and 97%soars in efficacy have been obtained compared to individual incorporation of porous media and fins,respectively.
