The strengthening mechanisms of Al-TiAl_(3) nanocomposite, fabricated using cold roll bonding, annealing, and accumulative roll bonding(ARB) on Al sheets sandwiching with pure Ti powder were investigated in the present study. With annealing at 590 ℃ for 2 h, TiAl_(3) intermetallic compound was formed. After subsequent ARB process up to 5 cycles, final composite consists of ultrafine Al grains of less than 500 nm with TiAl_(3) particles larger than 200 nm. The strength and hardness of the final composite are 2.5 and 3.5 times the initial values, with an ultimate tensile strength of 400 MPa, which is dominated by grain-boundary strengthening due to the ultrafine Al grains, and Orowan strengthening due to the small TiAl_(3) particles. For comparison, an alternative fabrication route of cold roll bonding–ARB–annealing was also studied. This study showed that annealing before ARB is a critical factor in producing an ultrafine grain structure containing TiAl_(3) particles.

The fluorination reaction involving a β-ketosulfones by Selectfluor^TM was efficiently promoted by the ionic liquid, [Hbim]BF4 （IL） as a reaction medium with methanol as co-solvent at room temperature under ultrasonic irradiation to afford the corresponding mono and difluoro-β-ketosulfones in excellent yields. The advantages of this method include among others the use of a recyclable, non-volatile ionic liquid, which promotes this protocol under room temperature without the requirement of any added catalyst under ultrasonic irradiation.

The relativistic Dirac equation under spin and pseudo-spin symmetries is investigated for Manning–Rosen plus quasi-Hellman potentials with tensor interaction. For the first time we consider the Hulthen plus Yukawa for tensor interaction. The Formula method is used to obtain the energy eigen-values and wave functions. We also discuss about the energy eigen-values and the Dirac spinors for the Manning–Rosen plus quasi-Hellman potentials for the spin and pseudo-spin symmetry with Formula method. To show the accuracy of the present model, some numerical results are shown in both pseudo-spin and spin symmetry limits.

In this paper five equations of state are tested for checking their ability to predict the Joule-Thomson inversion *** five equations of state are:Mohsennia-Modarres-Mansoori(MMM),Ji-Lemp(JL),modified Soave-Redlich-Kwang(SRK)equation of state by Graboski(MSRK1),modified SRK equation of state by Peneloux and Rauzy(MSRK2),and modified Peng-Robinson (PR)equation of state by Rauzy(PRmr).The investigated equations of state give good prediction of the low-temperature branch of the inversion curve,except for MMM equation of *** high-temperature branch and the peak of the inversion curve have been observed,in general,to be sensitive to the applied equation of *** values of the maximum inversion temperature and maximum inversion pressure are calculated for each component used in this work.

BACKGROUND: According to the fact that women account for the highest rate of victims of mental health loss during disasters, prioritization of their requirements is of remarkable signifi cance. Therefore, the present study was carried out with the aim to prioritize factors related to women's mental health during an earthquake. METHODS: This study was conducted using the Delphi method in 2017. Participants consisted of experts including psychologists, counselors and psychiatrists, social medicine specialists, and psychiatric-mental health nurses with experience in service and disaster awareness, especially earthquake. They were selected using purposive and snowball sampling methods. The Delphi method was used in 2 rounds with 21 components and the fi nal attendance of 19 participants and the collective agreement of 75%. RESULTS: Of the 21 factors related to women's mental health during the earthquake, the following components were, respectively, preferred by the participants: psychological well-being training, group relationships and support of women in emergency situations, fair treatment in the provision of rights and services to women, crisis awareness and management of behavior and diffi cult conditions, and social security during disasters with the total mean standard deviation (SD) of 13.4 (2.4), 13.0 (2.4), 12.7 (2.5), 12.5 (2.4), and 12.3 (2.2), respectively. CONCLUSION: Training in the fi eld of psychology and disasters, and social and cultural factors were prioritized among factors related to women's mental health during an earthquake. Therefore, the results of this study can be applied by the planners and executives of mental health, women and disasters, and the women's community itself.

A new predictive model for evaluating the vibration of a sawing machine was developed using a new rock classification system. The predictors are machine parameters and a rock sawability index. The new rock classification system includes four major parameters of the rock： uniaxial compressive strength, abrasiv- ity index, mean MoWs hardness, and Young＇s modulus. The FAHP approach was used when determining the weights of these parameters by six decision makers. Two groups of carbonate rocks were sawn using a fully-instrumented laboratory sawing rig at different feed rates and depths of cut. During the sawing trials system vibration was monitored as a measure of saw performance. Then, a new statistical model was obtained by multiple regression on the machining parameters and the rock sawability index. The model is very useful for the evaluation of the system vibration, and for selecting suitable machining parameters, from a limited set of mechanical properties.

A new modified carbon paste electrode based on cyclam as a modifier was prepared for the determination of Co(Ⅱ) ions. The proposed electrode shows a Nernstian slope 28.4 mV per decade over a wide concentration range 5.0×10 -6_1.0×10 -1 mol/L of Co 2+ ions with detection limit 2.5×10 -6 mol/L. The sensor exhibits good selectivities for Co 2+ over a wide variety of other cations. It can be used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of cobalt(Ⅱ) ions as well as in direct determination of cobalt(Ⅱ) ions in wastewater of acidic cobalt electroplating bath. The electrode shows Nernestian behavior in a solution of 25% ethanol.
