A novel magnetic hydrogel loaded with graphene oxide(gO)was developed in this ***,gO was prepared from bagasse through a single step via oxidation in the presence of ferrocene under muffled atmospheric conditions,followed by the loading of different amounts of magnetite onto gO via co-precipitation reaction of iron onto gO ***,the 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propane sulfonic acid was grafted onto carboxymethyl cellulose in the presence of magnetite gO and N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide as crosslinker yielded *** structure,morphological,and thermal behavior of the prepared hydrogels were *** addition,the adsorption performance of Ni(Ⅱ)ions from aqueous media by the prepared hydrogels was investigated as a function of temperature,time,and concentration of adsorbate in a batch *** results demonstrated a remarkable enhancement in the adsorption process of Ni(Ⅱ)(Removal efficiency=98.82%).All isotherms were found to fit the Langmuir model *** adsorption properties of both magnetic gO and magnetic hydrogel showed promising properties as green and cheap adsorbents.

The discoveries of binary asteroids have opened an important new field of research concerning the calculation of potential generated by irregular *** of them have an elongated shape.A simple model to describe the motion of a test particle in that kind of potential requires consideration of a finite homogeneous straight *** construct this model by adding an inhomogeneous distribution of mass. To be consistent with the geometrical shape of the asteroid,we explore a parabolic profile of the *** establish the closed analytical form of the potential generated by this inhomogeneous massive *** study of the dynamical behavior is fulfilled by the use of Lagrangian formulation,which allows us to calculate some two and three dimensional orbits.

Cancer recurrence and severe side effects of currently being used chemotherapeutic agents reduce their clinical efficacy. Thus, there is a constant need to develop alternative anticancer drugs. Sustainable supply is an important challenge facing marine-based drug discovery. Primmorph, a 3D cell culture system, could provide a sustainable source to produce metabolites for anticancer drugs from marine sponges. In the present work, the anticancer activity of primmorph extracts and mesohyls of Negombata magnifica, Hemimycle arabica, Crella spinulata, and Stylissa carteri sponges was evaluated. Antiproliferative activity was studied in terms of cytotoxicity, colony formation, cell cycle, and apoptosis. Migration was assessed by migration assay and matrix metalloproteinase activity. The expression of proliferation and migration-related genes was analyzed using real time PCR. Migration and proliferation activities of Hepg2 cells were inhibited by treatment with primmorph extracts and mesohyls of N. magnifica, H. arabica, and C. spinulata. The mesohyl of S. carteri did not show any anticancer activity although the primmorph extract led to cell cycle arrest. Among the selected sponge species, the primmorph extract of C. spinulata was the most promising anticancer agent regarding antiproliferative and antimigratory activities. In addition, primmorph extracts have the advantage of working under welldefined and controlled conditions, which allows the easy application as a bioreactor.

A tricalcium phosphate(TCP)material was produced from sardine and mackerel waste using a heat treatment method after a Soxhlet extraction to obtain the non-soluble portion of fish *** bones were annealed at temperatures between 400℃ and 1200℃.The thermal analysis(Tg-DTA)was carried out to investigate the thermal stability of TCP and to confirm the removal of organic matter from the raw *** calcined bones were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and field emission scanning.electron microscopy(FESEM).The calcium to phosphorous weight ratio was determined by ***-IR and XRD confirmed the similarities to syntheticβ-TCP(JCPDS-09-169),FE-SEM results revealed the formation of nanostructured *** results suggest that varying the isolation temperature between 600-1200℃ has tremendous impact on the production of TCP from fish bone waste with the required properties.

Martensitic transformation and magnetic properties of aged Ni-Fe-ga-Ti shape memory alloy

This article reports the effect of ageing on the microstructure, martensitic transformation, magnetic properties, and mechanical properties of Ni51Felsga27Ti4 shape memory alloy. There are five specimens of this alloy aged at 573 up to 973 K for 3 h per each. This range of ageing temperature greatly affects the microstructure of the alloy. As the ageing temperature increased from 573 up to 973 K, the microstructure of Ni51Felsga27Ti4 alloy gradually changed from the entirely martensitic matrix at 573 K to the fully austenitic microstructure at 973 K. The volume fraction of precipi- tated Ni3Ti particles increased with the ageing temperature increasing from 573 to 773 K. Further increasing the ageing temperature to 973 K decreased the content of Ni3Ti in the microstructure. The martensitic transformation tempera- ture was decreased steadily by increasing the ageing temperature. The magnetization saturation, remnant magnetization, and coercivity increased with the ageing temperature increasing up to 773 K. A further increase in ageing temperature decreased these raagnetic properties. Moreover, the hardness values were gradually increased at first by increasing the ageing temperature to 773 K, and then dramatically decreased to the lowest value at 973 K.

Objective:To evaluate three flowers of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis(***-sinensis),Quisqualis indica(***) and Senna surattensis(***) for their antioxidant activity by different methods in addition to total phenolic,flavonoid and pigment ***:Antioxidant activity of water,ethanol and absolute ethanol extracts of three flowers; ***-sinensis,*** and *** was *** antioxidant activity was assessed by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl free radical scavenging activity,ferrous chelating activity,reducing power,nitric oxide scavenging activity,hydroxyl radical scavenging activity as well as total antioxidant *** flavonoids,total phenols and total pigments including chlorophylls and carotenoids were measured for the three ***:The results showed that the highest total antioxidant capacity at concentration of 500 mg/L was found in *** as 0.479 ± *** activity of ***,*** and *** flower extracts against 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical showed the highest activity of(90.20 ± 0.29)% with 500 mg/*** screening of the three flowers extracts were carried out for alkaloids,flavonoids,saponins,tannins,steroids,glycosides,terpenoids,amino acid and ***-sinensis showed the total phenolic in water extract of(235.77 ± 14.31) mg/100 g,the other two flowers *** and *** had the total phenolic in ethanol extracts of(937.70 ± 25.06) and(850.30 ± 13.81) mg/100 g,*** the other hand total flavonoids were identified in absolute ethanol extracts in the three flowers[(32.83 ± 1.34),(49.24 ± 4.87) and(2.79 ± 0.23) mg/100 g,respectively].Conclusions:The extracts in the constituents of the three flowers could be used as additives as supplement fractions in foods.

The Zeit sand reservoir is one of the most prolific formations at Northwestern side of the gulf of *** this research we will try to coordinate between electrical,petrophysical properties,depositional environment and facies discrimination in order to evaluate the hydrocarbon potentiality of studied Zeit *** statistical parameters for potassium(K),thorium(Th)and Th/U ratio contents have a general increase towards northwestern parts,whereas uranium(U)content has a general increase towards southeastern *** sandstone facies is distinguished from the other facies by its thorium content>4 ppm.U has high carbonate content(U≥1 ppm).Rocks'electrical properties vary greatly depending on a number of *** measurements were taken at frequencies range of(5×10^(-4)Hz-100 kHz)for fully saturated samples(clayey sandstone)with NaCl(20 gm/L).As salinity,clay content,and frequency increase,consequently does the electrical *** continental condition are present in northwestern part(back-sea)which is distinguished by high K percent,high Th,high Th/U ratio,and low U *** K,Th,and Th/U ratio contents,with high U contents,characterize the marine depositional environment that existed around the east and southeastern parts(foresea coincide with the dipping of strata).Furthermore,the studied Zeit Formation has good petrophysical properties that coincide with marine *** middle and eastern parts(around ISS-94 and CSS-288)is a good reservoir(porosity 36%-39%,shale content<15%,hydrocarbon saturation 71%-92%,and net pay thickness 17-63 feet).
