Geochem.cal characteristics and spectrom.tric prospecting in the m.scovite-bearing pegm.tites and granites, southeastern Aswan, Egypt

Rare m.tal m.neralization of Sn, Nb-Ta and W is encountered in the Gebel Dihm.t area (GDA), south- eastern Aswan, Egypt. The m.neralization is related to m.scovite granites and their pegm.tite derivatives. The peg- m.tites are divided into three types according to their m.in m.neral assem.lages: K-feldspar-m.scovite-tourm.line, K-feldspar-albite-m.scovite and albite-K-feldspar-lepidolite veins. Petrogenetic studies indicate that Sn and Nb-Ta m.neralization extends from.the late-m.gm.tic stage to the pegm.tite and hydrotherm.l stages of the (GDA) suite. The albite-K-feldspar-lepidolite granite is com.osed dom.nantly of albite, lepidolote, and quartz, with topaz, K-feldspar and am.lygonite. The accessory m.nerals are zircon, m.nazite, pollucite, colum.ite-tantalite, m.crolite and Ta-rich cassiterite. Phenocrysts of quartz, topaz and K-feldspar contain abundant inclusions of albite laths and occasional lepidolite crystals along growth zones (snowball texture), indicating sim.ltaneous crystallization from.a subsolvus, residual m.gm.. The origin of the pegm.tites is attributed to extrem. differentiation by fractional crystal- lization of a granitic m.gm.. The econom.c potential for rare m.tals was evaluated in the geochem.cal discrim.nation diagram.. Accordingly, som. of the pegm.tites are not only highly differentiated in term. of alkalis, but also the prom.sing targets for sm.ll-scale Ta and, to a less extent, Sn. The pegm.tites also provide the first exam.le of Fe-m. and Nb-Ta fractionation in successive generations of granites to cassiterite-bearing pegm.tites, which perfectly ex- hibit sim.lar fractionation trends established for prim.ry colum.ite-tantalite in the corresponding categories of peg- m.tites. Uranium.and Th of m.gm.tic origin are indicated by the presence of thorite and allanite, whereas evidence of hydrotherm.l m.neralization is the alteration of rock- foring m.nerals such as feldspar and the form.tion of sec- ondary m.nerals such as uranophane..

Developing a biom.terial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium.oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),alum.num.oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were em.edded in cast film. based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be exam.ned for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated film. including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Ram.n,and scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.,besides their biological *** therm.gravim.tric analysis(TGA)exhibits high therm.l stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the tem.erature from.room.tem.erature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approxim.tely 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachm.nt shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on m.st of the surface of the m.dified PCL which shows high biocom.atibility.

Twenty-four rice genotypes were exam.ned to assess genetic variability,heritability,and correlations for seven-grain quality traits,eight nutritional elem.nts,and *** revealed signiﬁcant differences for the quality traits *** every trait under study,the phenotypic coefﬁcient of variation was higher than the correspon-dence genotypic coefﬁcient of *** in a broad sense varied from.29.75%for grain length to 98.31%for the elongation *** percentage recovery had a highly signiﬁcant positive correlation with m.lling and head rice ***,m.lling percentage had a highly positive correlation with head rice *** am.lose percentage,all the genotypes belonged to low am.lose except the Hassawi-1 variety,which had interm.diate am.lose *** nutrition contents of m.gnesium.m.),sodium.Na),potas-sium.K),calcium.Ca),copper(Cu),m.nganese(m.),zinc(Zn),iron(Fe),or protein percentage gave different variations for 24 rice genotypes under all the nutritional *** the 24 genotypes,ten rice genotypes–HighNutrient-1,HighNutrient-2,HighNutrient-9,HighNutrient-8,HighNutrient-3,Hassawi-2,HighNutrient-7,HighNutrient-6,Hassawi-1,and HighNutrient-4–had the highest heist value for all nutritional and protein con-tents,and could be used as a donor to im.roving new *** was a positive and signiﬁcant correlation between m.gnesium.m.,K,Zn and ***,K had a positive correlation with zinc Zn,Fe,and protein *** analysis was divided into two groups:theﬁrst group included all genotypes rich in nutri-ents,while the rem.ining genotypes with low nutritional content were included in the second group.

The design of nanostructured m.terials occupies a privileged position in the developm.nt and m.nagem.nt of affordable and effective technology in the antibacterial ***,we discuss the antim.crobial properties of three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts m.terials of graphene oxide(GO),reduced graphene oxide(RGO),and single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)that have a m.chano-bactericidal effect,and the ability to piercing or slicing bacterial *** dem.nstrate the significance of size,m.rphology and com.osition on the antibacterial activity m.chanism.the designed nanom.terials have been *** m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration(m.C),standard agar well diffusion,and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy were utilized to evaluate the antibacterial activity of GO,RGO,and *** on the evidence obtained,the three carbonaceous m.terials exhibit activity against all m.crobial strains tested by com.letely encapsulating bacterial cells and causing m.rphological disruption by degrading the m.crobial cell m.m.rane in the order of RGO>GO>*** of the external cell wall structure and outer m.m.rane proteins,the synthesized carbonaceous nanom.terials exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Gram.positive bacterial strains than Gram.negative and fungal *** had the lowest m.C values(0.062,0.125,and 0.25 m./m. against ***,***,and ***,respectively),as well as m.nim.m.fungal concentrations(0.5 m./m. for both *** and ***).At 12 hr,the cell viability values against tested m.crobial strains were com.letely *** lysis and death occurred as a result of severe m.m.rane dam.ge caused by m.croorganism. perched on RGO *** work gives an insight into the design of effective graphene-based antim.crobial m.terials for water treatm.nt and rem.diation.

Assessm.nt of plant diversity of endem.c species of the Saharo-Arabian region in Egypt

Savanna, sem.-deserts, and hot deserts characterize the Saharo-Arabian region, which includes m.rocco, m.uretania, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Em.rates, Om.n, Yem.n, southern Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India. Its neighboring regions, the Sudano-Zam.ezian region belonging to the Paleotropical Kingdom.and the m.diterranean and Irano-Turanian regions included in the Holarctic Kingdom. share a large portion of their flora with the Saharo-Arabian region. Despite the widespread acknowledgm.nt of the region's global im.ortance for plant diversity, an up to date list of the Saharo-Arabian endem.cs is still unavailable. The available data are frequently insufficient or out of date at both the whole global and the national scales. Therefore, the present study aim. at screening and verifying the Saharo-Arabian endem.c plants and determ.ning the phytogeographical distribution of these taxa in the Egyptian flora. Hence, a prelim.nary list of 429 Saharo-Arabian endem.c plants in Egypt was com.iled from.the available literature. Indeed, by excluding the species that were recorded in any countries or regions outside the Saharo-Arabian region based on different literature, database reviews, and websites, the present study has reduced this num.er to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 fam.lies. Regarding the national geographic distribution, South Sinai is the richest region with 83 endem.c species com.ared with other eight phytogeographic regions in Egypt, followed by the Isthm.c Desert(the m.ddle of Sinai Peninsula, 53 taxa). Sahara regional subzone(SS1) distributes all the 126 endem.c species, Arabian regional subzone(SS2) owns 79 taxa, and Nubo-Sindian subzone(SS3) distributes only 14 endem.cs. Seven groups were recognized at the fourth level of classification as a result of the application of the two-way indicator species analysis(TWINSPAN) to the Saharo-Arabian endem.c sp

Com.inations of m.tal and lanthanide oxides have been done through casted film. for potential m.dical applications. In this regard, sam.rium.Ⅲ) oxide/chrom.um.Ⅲ) oxide/graphene oxide(GO)/polycaprolactone(PCL) based film. nano-com.osites(NCs) were fabricated, pointing their utilization as a biological scaffold for wound dressing purposes. Also, sam.rium.Ⅲ) oxide and chrom.um.Ⅲ) oxide have been m.rged as prom.sing optical constituents due to their unique optical behavior. The structural and com.ositional exam.nation of the studied NCs was executed by X-ray diffraction(XRD), Ram.n, and field em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy(FESEm.. The Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL NC exhibits a surface with a lower roughness degree owing to the presence of GO. Cr_(2)O_(3)shows size reduction upon GO insertion to reach 1.2 μm.as the average grain size, whilst Sm.(2)O_(3)records an average grain size of less than 1 μm. As well, the polym.ric nano-com.ositions exhibit variation in contact angle values that hit 29.76°± 3.52°for Sm.(2)O_(3)/PCL, and 48.62°± 1.37°for Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL as the second lowest contact angle. The optical behavior contributes to absorption edge relocation along the x-axis from.1.7 eV for pure PCL, to 2.65 eV for Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL. Regarding biological responses, the cell exposed to 2.5 μg/m.L of Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL shows cell viability of 119.31%, while 5 μg/m.L hits 99.6%. Additionally, the resulting cell attachm.nt m.crographs show layers of fibroblast tissue, besides the proliferation and growth of cultivated cells. Thus, the Sm.(2)O_(3)/Cr_(2)O_(3)/GO/PCL scaffold provides 3D proliferation of fibroblast cells endorsing the wound healing process.

Depositional environm.nt， petrophysical evaluation and electrical properties of Zeit Form.tion， Northwestern shore of Gulf of Suez， Egypt

The Zeit sand reservoir is one of the m.st prolific form.tions at Northwestern side of the Gulf of Suez. In this research we will try to coordinate between electrical， petrophysical properties， depositional environm.nt and facies discrim.nation in order to evaluate the hydrocarbon potentiality of studied Zeit form.tion. The statistical param.ters for potassium.(K)， thorium.(Th) and Th/U ratio contents have a general increase towards northwestern parts， whereas uranium.(U) content has a general increase towards southeastern parts. The sandstone facies is distinguished from.the other facies by its thorium.content >4 ppm. U has high carbonate content (U ≥1 ppm.. Rocks’ electrical properties vary greatly depending on a num.er of factors. electrical m.asurem.nts were taken at frequencies range of (5×10-4Hz–100 kHz) for fully saturated sam.les (clayey sandstone) with NaCl (20 gm.Littre). As salinity， clay content， and frequency increase， consequently does the electrical properties. The continental condition are present in northwestern part (back-sea) which is distinguished by high K percent， high Th， high Th/U ratio， and low U contents. Low K， Th， and Th/U ratio contents， with high U contents， characterize the m.rine depositional environm.nt that existed around the east and southeastern parts (fore-sea coincide with the dipping of strata). Furtherm.re， the studied Zeit Form.tion has good petrophysical properties that coincide with m.rine conditions. The m.ddle and eastern parts (around ISS-94 and CSS-288) is a good reservoir (porosity 36%–39%， shale content <15%， hydrocarbon saturation 71%–92%， and net pay thickness 17–63 feet).

Textile dyes are dram.tic sources of pollution and non-aesthetic disturbance of aquatic life and therefore represent a potential risk of bioaccum.lation that can affect living *** is im.erative to reduce or elim.nate these dyes from.liquid effluents with innovative biom.terials and ***,this research aim. to highlight the perform.nce of Capparis spinosa L waste-activated carbon(CSLW-AC)adsorbent to rem.ve crystal violet(CV)from.an aqueous *** m.chanism.of CV adsorption on CSLW-AC was evaluated based on the coupling of experim.ntal data and different characterization *** efficiency of the CSLW-AC m.terial reflected by the equilibrium.adsorption capacity of CV could reach m.re than 195.671 m.·g^(–1) when 0.5 g·L^(–1) of CSLW-AC(Particle size≤250μm.is introduced into the CV of initial concentration of 100 m.·L^(–1) at pH 6 and tem.erature 65℃ and in the presence of potassium.ions after 60 m.n of contact tim. according to the one param.ter at a tim. *** adsorption behavior of CV on CSLW-AC was found to be consistent with the pseudo-second-order kinetic m.del and Frum.in's linear isotherm.l *** therm.dynam.c aspects indicate that the process is physical,spontaneous,and *** optim.zation of the process by the Box Behnken design of experim.nts resulted in an adsorption capacity approaching 183.544 m.·g^(–1)([CV]=100 m.·L^(–1) and[CSLW-AC]=0.5 g·L^(–1) at 35 m.n).The results of the Lactuca sativa seeds germ.nation in treated CV(70%),adsorbent solvent and therm.l regeneration(m.re than 5 cycles),and process cost analysis(1.0484 USD·L^(–1))tests are encouraging and prom.sing for future exploitations of the CSLW-AC m.terial in different industrial fields.
