In this paper,we have calculated the structural,electronic,and optical properties of chalcogenide stannite Cu2CdSnX4（X=S,Se,Te） *** calculations are based on the density functional theory （DFT） method and are performed using the Cambridge sequential total energy package （CASTEP） code included in the Biovia Material Studio 20 *** optical properties have been studied in a domain that extends energetically from 10 meV to 40 *** results show that Cu2CdSnX4（X=S,Se,Te） stannite exhibits absorption in the visible region,the refractive index decreases with increasing energy,and the refractive index values are n=3.2,3.73 and 3.75 for Cu2CdSnS4,Cu2CdSnSe4and Cu2CdSnTe4,*** show also high conductivity,which implies that this material is promising for solar *** results argue in favor of the use of these materials in various potential *** density of state,band structures,and structural properties of Cu2CdSnX4（X=S,Se,and Te） stannite are also studied in this work.

Objectives: To study the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency among newly diagnosed multiple sclerosis patients. Patients and Methods: It is a case control cross matching age related study done on totally 40 subjects (20 patients are newly diagnosed as MS;patients don’t start any medication for MS (naive patients) and 20 subjects are controls with the same age and sex). Base line vitamin D level was measured (i.e. vitamin D, 25-OH (total)) and MRI brain with contrast was done for all patients. Results: Low total vitamin D level was seen among 65% of patients with MS (13/20);however, this was only 20% of normal controls (4/20). Conclusion: Hypovitaminosis D is common in MS patients.

This case study is done to show a different type of presentation of a HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) patient. Neurological symptoms in HIV are normally due to Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML) which is a reactivated infection caused by John Cunningham virus (JC virus). The disease causes fatal demyelination of the central nervous system (CNS). This case presented a 51-year-old Nigerian man who complained of resistant tremors and unexplained weight loss. The patient was suspected to have HIV when a MRI scan revealed T2/FLAIR hyper intensity of white matter which was a sign of PML. HIV ELISA was done and came back with a positive result. PML presenting in the form of tremors is very rare and more research is required to focus on the neurological presentation of HIV.

Background: Anemia is one of the complications of chronic kidney disease (CKD) which necessitates multiple blood transfusions. These multiple transfusions are usually accompanied by Iron over load. The current study aimed to assess the Iron profile in Sudanese patients with chronic renal failure received regular blood transfused. Materials and Methods: A descriptive analytical case control study was performed in Alturki Teaching Hospital, Khartoum, Sudan. A total of 90 Sudanese were enrolled in this study (30 CKD patients under hemodialysis and undergo multiple blood transfusion, 30 CKD patients under hemodialysis but not blood transfusion and 30 healthy controls, 51 (57%) were male and 39 (43%) were females, their age ranged between 28 to 75 years. Iron profile (serum iron, serum ferritin and total iron binding capacity (TIBC)) were measured using full automated Chemical analyzer Mindray BS 200 (China). Data were analyzed by using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) verssion16. Results: The present study showed that serum iron and serum ferritin of those under hemodialysis and received regular blood transfusion patient were significantly higher compared to those under hemodialysis and did not received regular blood transfusion patients (P value 0.000 and 0.01) respectively. Conclusion: Patients with chronic renal failure and under hemodialysis and receive regular and multiple transfusions are prone to iron overload.

Charcoal Nanoparticles as a Delivery System for Doxorubicin and Sorafenib in Treatment of Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common type of liver cancer and one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide. Advanced HCC displays strong resistance to chemotherapy, and traditional chemotherapy drugs do not achieve satisfactory therapeutic efficacy. The delivery of therapeutic compounds to the target site is a major challenge in the treatment of many diseases. Objective: This study aims to evaluate activated charcoal nanoparticles as a drug delivery system for anticancer agents (Sorafenib and Doxorubicin) in Hepatocellular Cancer Stem Cells. Method: The percent efficiency of entrapment (% EE) of the doxorubicin and sorafenib entrapped onto the activated charcoal was obtained by determining the free doxorubicin and sorafenib concentration in the supernatant-prepared solutions. Then the characterizations of nanoparticles were formed by determination of the particle size distribution, zeta potential, and polydispersity index (PDI). The anticancer activity of activated Charcoal, Doxorubicin-ACNP, sorafenib-ACNP, free doxorubicin, and free sorafenib solutions was measured based on cell viability percentage in HepG2 cell lines (ATCC-CCL 75). In vitro RBC’s toxicity of Doxorubicin/sorafenib loaded charcoal was estimated by hemolysis percentage. Results: The synthesized Doxorubicin-ACNP and Sorafenib-ACNP were evaluated and their physiochemical properties were also examined. Essentially, the percent Efficiency of Entrapment (EE %) was found to be 87.5% and 82.66% for Doxorubicin-ACNP and Sorafenib-ACNP, respectively. The loading capacity was 34.78% and 24.31% for Doxorubicin-ACNP and Sorafenib-ACNP. Using the Dynamic Light scattering [DLS] for the determination of the hydrodynamic size and surface zeta potential, a narrow sample size distribution was obtained of (18, 68, and 190 nm for charcoal, 105, 255, and 712 nm for doxorubicin, and 91, 295, and 955 nm for sorafenib), respectively. Focal dystonia in young aged patients is considered to be the uncommon clinical presentation, unless a secondary cause is to be considered. Infarcts of the corpus callosum are rare and have not been well documented previously. As for a variety of signs and symptoms due to corpus callosum lesion, focal dystonia can be easily overlooked. The case is approved by ethical committee and explained to the patient with patient approval.

The case study is aimed at providing a more thorough analysis of a case of lateral medullary syn-drome presented only with persistent hiccup after eating lunch the study hopes to generate an interest for further studies into the topic and focuses on abnormal unusual presentations of lateral medullary syndrome. Ethical committee has approved this case after taking consent from the patient and explaining to him the importance of the case in clinical practice.

A single adsorption isothermal study was performed over HY and BEA zeolites in order to determine their adsorption capacities for phenol, ortho-nitrophenol and para-nitrophenol. The experiments were realized in batch reactor and the isotherms were modelized by the Fowler-Guggenheim equation. During the adsorption process weak zeolite-sorbate interactions and more significant sorbate-sorbate attractions were identified. The adsorption was not linked to the molecular size of the sorbates and a strong correlation was established between the adsorption compound was the best adsorbed. The removal performances capacities and the dipole moments of the sorbates. The most polar of the zeolites depended on their hydrophobicity.

人力资源管理是公司的重点,尤其是人力资源管理的作用和实施新技术对提高工人纪律和绩效的作用,以使公司绩效最大化。可以说人力资源的效率是通过控制公司内部员工的出勤率来衡量的。从苏丹电信公司的绩效管理情况进行研究,研究周期为2014年-2015年一年时间,利用excel进行样本整理和线性回归分析。从2014年-2015年这项研究测量员工绩效的比例根据自己的标准时。未经许可或未取得许可证,旷工记录被分为缺勤记录。此外,这项研究还测量了员工的缺勤率后,操作指纹系统相比,最初使用的方法(手册)控制日常出勤,第一次研究的结果表明,该公司有有效的人力资源经理。因此,未经授权的部门没有许可证的情况与未获得许可证的人相比非常低,因此不带任何借口的离职率最高的是商业优良率50.64%,其次是业务支持,百分比为47.38%,首席执行官为43.81%。此后,IT部门的百分比为42.47%。另一方面,持有许可证的缺勤率最高的是COE 90.1%,公司销售89.96%和公司87.71%最后销售86.89%。这项研究的第二部分旨在分析使用指纹的优点,确切地说是在旷工方面。研究得出的结论是指纹系统已经提高了工人的出勤率。然而,比例最高的无系统实施后为人力资源0.33%,操作0.3%,牢记之前的比例是无庸置疑的新技术的实施将提升公司业绩集团首席技术官0.12%场。此外,利用这种无操作工具可以减少工人的位移,从而提高公司业绩。最后,研究得出结论,尽管员工的一致性或人力资源管理的力量仍然使用新技术,将扩大公司的盈利能力。随后,加快实现所画目标的过程。

This study presents a new systematic algorithm to optimize the durability of reinforced recycled aggregate *** proposed algorithm integrates machine learning with a new version of the firefly algorithm called chaotic based firefly algorithm(CFA)to evolve a rational and efficient predictive *** CFA optimizer is augmented with chaotic maps and Levy flight to improve the firefly performance in forecasting the chloride penetrability of strengthened recycled aggregate concrete(RAC).A comprehensive and credible database of distinctive chloride migration coefficient results is used to establish the developed algorithm.A dataset composite of nine effective parameters,including concrete components and fundamental characteristics of recycled aggregate(RA),is used as input to predict the migration coefficient of strengthened RAC as output,k-fold cross validation algorithm is utilized to validate the hybrid *** numerical benchmark analyses are applied to prove the superiority and applicability of the CFA algorithm in predicting chloride *** show that the developed CFA approach significantly outperforms the firefly algorithm on almost tested functions and demonstrates powerful *** addition,the proposed strategy can be an active tool to recognize the contradictions in the experimental results and can be especially beneficial for assessing the chloride resistance of RAC.
