Computational discovery of p-type transparent oxide semiconductors using hydrogen descriptor

The ultimate transparent electronic devices require complementary and symmetrical pairs of n-type and p-type transparent *** several n-type transparent oxide semiconductors like InGaZnO and ZnO are available and being used in consumer electronics,there are practically no p-type oxides that are comparable to the n-type counterpart in spite of tremendous efforts to discover ***,high-throughput screening with the density functional theory calculations attempted to identify candidate p-type transparent oxides,but none of suggested materials was verified experimentally,implying need for a better theoretical ***,we propose a highly reliable and computationally efficient descriptor for p-type dopability—the hydrogen impurity *** show that the hydrogen descriptor can distinguish well-known p-type and n-type *** the hydrogen descriptor,we screen most binary oxides and a selected pool of ternary compounds that covers Sn^(2+)-bearing and Cu^(1+)-bearing oxides as well as *** a result,we suggest La_(2)O_(2)Te and CuLiO as promising p-type oxides.

A Test Case Prioritization through Correlation of Requirement and Risk

Test case prioritization techniques have been focused on regression testing which is conducted on an already executed test suite. In fact, the test case prioritization for new testing is also required. In this paper, we propose a method to prioritize new test cases by calculating risk exposure value for requirements and analyzing risk items based on the calculation to evaluate relevant test cases and thereby determining the test case priority through the evaluated values. Moreover, we demonstrate effectiveness of our technique through empirical studies in terms of both APFD and fault severity.

A multi-input and multi-output design on automotive engine management system

Lookup table is widely used in automotive industry for the design of engine control units(ECU).Together with a proportional-integral controller,a feed-forward and feedback control scheme is often adopted for automotive engine management system(EMS).Usually,an ECU has a structure of multi-input and single-output(miso).Therefore,if there are multiple objectives proposed in EMS,there would be corresponding numbers of ECUs that need to be *** this situation,huge efforts and time were spent on *** this work,a multi-input and multi-out(MIMO) approach based on model predictive control(MPC) was presented for the automatic cruise system of automotive *** results show that the tracking of engine speed command and the regulation of air/fuel ratio(AFR) can be achieved simultaneously under the new *** mean absolute error(MAE) for engine speed control is 0.037,and the MAE for air fuel ratio is 0.069.

AIM:To characterize the anti-inflammatory and antiapoptotic effects of N-acetylcysteine(NAC)in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rat corneal epithelium and human corneal epithelial cells(HCECs)exposed to a high-glucose ***:HCECs were incubated in 0,5,50 mmol/L glucose medium,or 50 mmol/L glucose medium with NAC for *** was induced in rats by intraperitoneal injection of 65 mg/kg STZ and some of these rats were topically administered NAC to corneas with 3 mice per *** characterized receptor for advanced glycation end-products(RAGE)expression using immunofluorescence,and interleukin(IL)-1βand cleaved caspase-3(CCAP-3)expression using *** tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-αconcentration was measured by ELISA and cleaved poly-ADP ribose polymerase(PARP)concentration was quantified by Western *** cells were detected using TUNEL assay and annexin V and propidium iodide ***:Diabetic rats had higher expression of RAGE(2.46±0.13 fold),IL-1β,and CCAP-3 in apoptotic cells of their corneas than control *** expression of RAGE(1.83±0.11 fold),IL-1β,and CCAP-3,and the number of apoptotic cells,were reduced by topical NAC *** incubated in 50 mmol/L glucose medium showed high concentrations of TNF-α(310±2.00 pg/mL)and cleaved PARP(7.43±0.56 fold),and more extensive apoptosis than cells in 50 mmol/L glucose ***,the addition of NAC reduced the concentrations of TNF-α(153.67±2.31 pg/mL)and cleaved PARP(5.55±0.31 fold)and the number of apoptotic ***:NAC inhibits inflammation and apoptosis in the corneas of diabetic rats and HCECs maintained in a high-glucose environment.
