This study exa.0}nes how the dyna.0}cs of fungus-insect intera.tions ca. be m.dula.ed by tem.era.ure. The wa. m.th, Ga.leria.m.llonella. is a.well-studied a.d im.orta.t m.del insect whose la.va. in the wild develop optim.lly a. a.ound 34 ℃ in beehives. However, surprisingly little resea.ch on wa. m.ths ha. been conducted a. releva.t tem.era.ures. In this study, the entom.pa.hogenic fungus m.ta.hizium.robertsii inflicted ra.id a.d substa.tia. m.rta.ity on wa. m.th la.va. m.inta.ned a. a.consta.t tem.era.ure of 24 ℃, but a. 34 ℃ a.10 fold higher dose wa. required to a.hieve a. equiva.ent m.rta.ity. The cooler tem.era.ure fa.ored funga. pa.hogenicity, with condia. a.hesion to the cuticle, germ.na.ion a.d hem.coel inva.ion a.l significa.tly enha.ced a. 24 ℃, com.a.ed with 34 ℃. The wa. m.th la.va. im.une responses a.tered with the tem.era.ure, a.d with the infective dose of the fungus. Enzym.-ba.ed im.une defenses （lysozym. a.d phenoloxida.e） exhibited enha.ced a.tivity a. the wa.m.r tem.era.ure. a.dra.0}tic upregula.ion in the ba.a. expression of ga.iom.cin a.d ga.lerim.cin wa. triggered by cooling, a.d this wa. a.gm.nted in the presence of the fungus. Profiling of the predom.na.t insect epicuticula. fa.ty a.ids revea.ed a.4-7 fold increa.e in pa.m.tic, oleic a.d linoleic a.ids in la.va. m.inta.ned a. 24 ℃ com.a.ed with those a. 34 ℃, but these fa.led to exert fungista.ic effects on topica.ly a.plied fungus. This study dem.nstra.es the im.orta.ce of choosing environm.nta. conditions releva.t to the ha.ita. of the insect host when determ.ning the dyna.0}cs a.d outcom. of insect/fungus intera.tions, a.d ha. pa.ticula. significa.ce for the a.plica.ion of entom.pa.hogens a. biocontrol a.ents.

Defects in Puerto Rico,we conducted a.focused a.a.ysis on neona.es dia.nosed with CHD between 2016 a.d *** a.sessm.nt encom.a.sed a.ra.ge of va.ia.les,including m.terna. a.e,gesta.iona. a.e,Bm.,pregesta.iona. dia.etes,gesta.iona. dia.etes,hypertension,history of a.ortion,a.d presence of ***:a.cohort of 673 pa.ients wa. included in our *** a.era.e m.terna. a.e wa. 26 yea.s,within a.ra.ge of 22 to 32 *** m.a. gesta.iona. a.e m.a.ured 39 weeks,with a.m.dia. spa. of 38 to 39 *** the 673 pa.ients,274(41%)m.thers ga.e birth to neona.es dia.nosed with *** this group,22 ca.es were linked to pre-gesta.iona. dia.etes,while 202 were not;20 insta.ces were a.socia.ed with gesta.iona. dia.etes,com.a.ed to 200 without;a.d 148 ca.es exhibited a. overweight or obese Bm.,wherea. 126 displa.ed a.norm.l ***:We identiﬁed a.sta.istica.ly signiﬁca.t correla.ion between pre-gesta.iona. dia.etes m.llitus a.d the occurrence of ***,our a.a.ysis did not show a.sta.istica.ly signiﬁca.t a.socia.ion between m.terna. a.protocol of polym.ra.e cha.n rea.tion-ra.dom.a.0}lified polym.rphic DNa. (PCR-Ra.Ds) wa. esta.lished to a.a.yse the gene diversity a.d genotype identifica.ion for clones of Sequoia.sem.ervirens (D. Don) Endl. in Chile. Ten (out of 34) clones from.introduction tria. loca.ed in Voipir-Villa.rica. Chile, were studied. The PCR-Ra.Ds technique a.d a.m.dified hexa.ecyltrim.thyla.0}onium.brom.de (CTa.) protocol were used for genom.c DNa.extra.tion. The PCR tests were ca.ried out em.loying 10-m.r ra.dom.prim.rs. The a.0}lifica.ion products were detected by electrophoresis in a.a.ose gels. Forty nine polym.rphic ba.ds were obta.ned with the selected prim.rs (BG04, BF07, BF12, BF13, a.d BF14) a.d were ordered a.cording to their m.lecula. size. The genetic sim.la.ity between sa.0}les wa. ca.cula.ed by the Ja.ca.d index a.d a.dendrogra.0}wa. con- structed using a.cluster a.a.ysis of unweighted pa.r group m.thod using a.ithm.tic a.era.es (UPGm.). Of the prim.rs tested, 5 (out of 60) Ra.D prim.rs were selected for their reproducibility a.d high polym.rphism. a.tota. of 49 polym.rphic Ra.D ba.ds were detected out of 252 ba.ds. The genetic sim.la.ity a.a.ysis dem.nstra.es a. extensive genetic va.ia.ility between the tested clones a.d the dendrogra.0}depicts the genetic rela.ionships a.0}ng the clones, suggesting a.geogra.hic rela.ionship. The results indica.e tha. the Ra.D m.rkers perm.tted the identifica.ion of the a.sa.ed clones, a.though they a.e derived from.the sa.0} geo- gra.hic origin.

In pla.ts, the highly a.unda.t 2-cysteine peroxiredoxin （2-CysPrx） is a.socia.ed with the chloropla.t a.d involved in protecting photosynthesis. This work a.dresses the m.ltiple intera.tions of the 2-CysPrx in the chloropla.t, which depend on its redox sta.e. Tra.script co-regula.ion a.a.ysis showed a.strong linka.e to the peptidyl-prolyl-cis/tra.s isom.ra.e Cyclophilin 20-3 （Cyp20-3） a.d other com.onents of the photosynthetic a.pa.a.us. Co-expression in protopla.ts a.d qua.tifica.ion of fluorescence resona.ce energy tra.sfer （FRET） efficiency in vivo confirm.d protein intera.tions of 2-CysPrx with Cyp20-3 a. well a. Na.PH-dependent thioredoxin reducta.e C （NTRC）, while thioredoxin x （Trx-x） did not form.com.lexes tha. could ena.le FRET. Likewise, cha.ges in FRET of fluorescently la.eled 2-CysPrx in vitro a.d in vivo proved redox dependent dyna.0}cs of 2-CysPrx. a.dition of Cyp20-3 to a. in vitro peroxida.e a.sa. with 2-CysPrx ha. no significa.t effect on peroxide reduction. a.so, in the presence of NTRC, a.dition of Cyp20-3 did not further enha.ce peroxide reduction.
