BACKGROUND strongyloides sterocoralis is a parasitic infection caused by a roundworm that is transmitted through soil contaminated with *** can infrequently cause hepatic abscesses in immunocompromised patients and is rarely reported to form hepatic lesions in immunocompetent *** sUMMARY We present a case study of a 45-year-old female who presented with right upper quadrant abdominal pain and constitutional symptoms for several *** imaging identified several malignant-appearing liver *** investigation,including serological testing and histopathologic examination,revealed the presence of serum strongyloides antibodies and hepatic granulomas with extensive *** treatment with ivermectin for 2 wk,there was complete resolution of the liver lesions and associated *** This case highlights the importance of considering parasitic infections,such as strongyloides,in the differential diagnosis of hepatic *** recognition and appropriate treatment can lead to a favorable outcome and prevent unnecessary invasive *** awareness among clinicians is crucial to ensure the timely diagnosis and management of such cases.

Extracellular matrices, artificial neural scaffolds and the promise of neural regeneration

Over last 20 years, extracellular matrices have been shown to be useful in promoting tissue regeneration. Recently, they have been used and have had success in achieving neurogenesis. Recent developments in extracellular matrix design have allowed their successful in vivo incorporation to engender an environment favorable for neural regeneration in animal models. Promising treatments under investigation include manipulation of the intrinsic extracellular matrix and incorporation of engineered naometer-sized scaffolds through which inhibition of molecules serving as barriers to neuroregeneration and delivery of neurotrophic factors and/or cells for successful tissue regeneration can be achieved. Further understanding of the changes incurred within the extracellular matrix following central nervous system injury will undoubtedly help design a clinically efficacious extracellular matrix scaffold that can mitigate or reverse neural degeneration in the clinical setting.

建立了一种基于快速傅立叶变换的二阶可靠度分析方法 .状态函数在利用两点近似技术近似为二阶多项式后 ,进一步变换为统计上独立的中间变量之和 .对于中间变量的线性形式表示的状态函数 ,其概率密度的傅立叶变换是各中间变量的概率密度的傅立叶变换之积 .因此 ,状态函数的概率密度可由其傅立叶变换函数的逆变换求得 .文中的傅立叶变换和相应的逆变换均由高效的快速傅立叶变换技术完成 .该方法可应用于正态和非正态分布问题 .由于在构造二阶近似中采用了近似技术 ,因而具有很好的计算效率 .数值算例验证了该方法的应用、效率和精度 .

采用高温无氧铜材料,实验研究激光冲击压力作用下铜材料表面微坑的几何特征以及尺寸效应作用规律。通过控制热处理温度与保温时间,在厚度截面方向获得多种不同晶粒粒径的试样,结合2种不同光斑大小的实验,研究激光冲击表面高应变率塑性变形的大小效应作用特征。实验结果表明:在相同激光能量条件下,大光斑冲击产生的微坑深度较大。晶粒粒径对微坑深度有较大的影响,小晶粒条件下,产生的坑深较小;大晶粒条件下,光斑大小与晶粒粒径对于坑深的影响较为显著。

Importance: This post-marketing surveillance study was conducted to evaluate real-world information about the efficacy and safety of oral Tinefconsup>?sup> tablets (sphaeranthus indicus based) in plaque psoriasis patients. Materials and Methods: Patients aged at least 18 years and older with clinical diagnosis of plaque psoriasis, were enrolled in this open label, non-comparative, multicenter trial. All eligible subjects received four 700 mg Tinefconsup>?sup> tablets/day for 12 weeks. The primary outcome measure was percent change in Psoriasis Area severity Index (PAsI) score from baseline to week 12. The secondary outcome measures were Physician Global Assessment (PGA), Nail Psoriasis severity Index (NAPsI), Psoriatic Arthritis Evaluation and Gene Expression Profiling and Immunohistochemistry. Results: After completion of Tinefconsup>?sup> treatment at 12 weeks, more than half of subjects (52%) achieved PAsI 50 response;PAsI 75 response was attained in 68 (23%) subjects and PAsI 90 response in 22 (7%) subjects. Five subjects with severe psoriasis achieved PAsI 90 without receiving any concomitant medication. Reduction in severity as assessed by PGA was observed in more than half of patients with moderate disease. Histopathological evaluation revealed that epidermal thickness was considerably reduced in 66% of subjects. The expression of inflammatory marker s100A9 protein was(meaningfully reduced in 60% patients with non-significant reduction of Keratin 10 protein expression. Gene expression analysis showed increase down regulation of sERPINB4;PI3 and KRT16 genes after a 12-week treatment period in subjects with higher PAsI scores. Conclusion: Oral Tinefconsup>?sup> tablets showed good efficacy and had a favorable safety profile in plaque psoriasis patients.
