Additive manufacturing of aluminum alloys has received significant attention in the aerospace industry;however,achieving sufficient high strength,especially at elevated temperatures,remains ***,a crack-free and near-full dense Al-1Fe-0.6Cu-1.3Zr alloy was fabricated by the laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)*** Al-Fe-Cu-Zr alloy exhibits heterogeneous microstructures with two distinct *** is the so-called coarse-grain zones(CGZs)with an average grain size of 0.95μm,where(Al,Cu)Fe_(3) nanoparticles precipitate in the Al matrix and Fe and Cu cosegregate at the grain boundaries(GBs).The other is fine-grain zones(FGZs)with an average grain size of 0.45μm,where an Al 3 Zr nanoparti-cle precipitates in each of theα-Al grains(serves as the nuclei),and Fe-rich nanoprecipitates and Fe/Cu cosegregation appear at the *** a result,the LPBF Al-Fe-Cu-Zr alloy,with these unique heteroge-neous structures,displays high strength at both room temperature and elevated temperatures,e.g.,with high yield strengths of 500 MPa at room temperature,and 163 MPa at 573 K,both are higher than those of additive manufactured Al-based alloys reported thus *** is suggested that the high strength over a wide temperature range of the current LPBF Al alloy is mainly attributed to the combination of the precipitation strengthening mechanism and grain-boundary strengthening mechanism.

The construction of enzyme reactors based on metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)as the immobilized matrix is a proven strategy that has achieved the widespread application of enzymes across *** many MOFs and a variety of strategies have been developed,a formidable challenge remains in maintaining the high enzyme activity with excellent recyclability and tolerance for harsh ***,using degradable redox stimuli-responsive liposomes as the templates with microporous MOFs(M-MOFs)as the hosts for enzyme encapsulation,a series of enzyme reactors(enzyme@M-MOFs)was designed and *** on the premise of enhancing enzyme protection in the harsh environment,this strategy provided a high degree-of-freedom space via removal of liposomes that improved the conformational freedom of the enzymes,promoted the mass transfer of substrates and products,and greatly boosted the catalytic ***,the strategy had good universality and was applied to various liposomes,M-MOFs and ***,the co-encapsulation of different enzymes with synergistic functions was performed using the M-MOFs *** study solved the problems of the conformation limitation of enzymes and mass transfer resistance of substrates and products using the proposed enzyme@M-MOFs,providing a new approach for the construction of biological cascade reaction devices based on MOFs materials.

Initiation and propagation of localized corrosion induced by(Zr,Ti,Al)-O_(x) inclusions in low-alloy steels in marine environment

The effects of inclusions on localized corrosion of Zr–Ti deoxidized low-alloy steels in marine environment were investigated by various analytical techniques including scanning electron microscopy with X-ray microanalysis(SEM/EDS),confocal Raman microscopy(CRM),and in situ scanning vibrating electrode technique(SVET).It was found that complex(Zr,Ti,Al)-O_(x)inclusions were responsible for the initiation of localized *** corrosion pref-erentially occurred at Fe matrix adjacent to these inclusions and formed *** the early stage of corrosion,catalytic-occluded cells and the diffusion of chloride ions played a major role in the propagation of corrosion,further accelerating the dissolution of Fe matrix and(Zr,Ti,Al)-O_(x)*** SVET and CRM results,it revealed that the maximum anodic current density in local area gradually decreased with prolonged exposure time,indicating that corrosion products covered the steel surface and lowered the propagation rate of *** the later stage of corrosion,the barrier effect of corrosion products played an important role in inhibiting localized corrosion.

This paper presents a singularity robust path planning for space manipulator to achieve base （satellite） attitude adjustment and end-effector task. The base attitude adjustment by the movement of manipulator will save propellant compared with conventional attitude control system. A task-priority reaction null-space control method is applied to achieve the primary task of adjusting attitude and secondary task of accomplishing end-effector task. Furthermore, the algorithm singularity is eliminated in the proposed algorithm compared with conventional reaction null-space algorithm. And the singular value filtering decomposition is introduced to dispose the dynamic singularity, the unit quaternion is also introduced to overcome representation singularity. Hence, a singularity robust path planning algorithm of space robot for base attitude adjustment is derived. A real time simulation system of the space robot under Linux/RTAl （realtime application interface） is developed to verify and test the feasibility and reliability of the method. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of online base attitude adjustment of space robot by the proposed algorithm.

Autophagy , an evolutionarily conserved lysosomal degradation process , has drawn an increasing amount of attention in recent years for its role in a variety of human diseases, such as cancer. Notably, autophagy plays an important role in regulating several survival and death signaling pathways that determine cell fate in cancer. To date, substantial evidence has demonstrated that some key autophagic mediators, such as autophagy-related genes (ATGs), PI3K, mTOR, p53, and Beclin-1, may play crucial roles in modulating autophagic activity in cancer initiation and progression. Because autophagy-modulating agents such as rapamycin and chloroquine have already been used clinically to treat cancer, it is conceivable that targeting autophagic pathways may provide a new opportunity for discovery and development of more novel cancer therapeutics. With a deeper understanding of the regulatory mechanisms governing autophagy, we will have a better opportunity to facilitate the exploitation of autophagy as a target for therapeutic intervention in cancer. This review discusses the current status of targeting autophagic pathways as a potential cancer therapy.

Tungsten boride(WB) crystals, whose surface tends to be oxidized when exposed to air, were demonstrated to have a comparable activity to platinum as counter electrode material in dye-sensitized solar cells. The synergistic effect of both catalytically active surface layer WOxand electronically conductive internal WB is considered to be responsible for the high activity of the WB crystals.

The effects of exercise interventions on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents:a meta-analysis

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor is a crucial neurotrophic factor that plays a significant role in brain health. Although the vast majority of meta-analyses have confirmed that exercise interventions can increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents, the effects of specific types of exercise on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels are still controversial. To address this issue, we used meta-analytic methods to quantitatively evaluate, analyze, and integrate relevant studies. Our goals were to formulate general conclusions regarding the use of exercise interventions, explore the physiological mechanisms by which exercise improves brain health and cognitive ability in children and adolescents, and provide a reliable foundation for follow-up research. We used the Pub Med, Web of Science, Science Direct, Springer, Wiley Online Library, Weipu, Wanfang, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases to search for randomized controlled trials examining the influences of exercise interventions on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents. The extracted data were analyzed using Review Manager 5.3. According to the inclusion criteria, we assessed randomized controlled trials in which the samples were mainly children and adolescents, and the outcome indicators were measured before and after the intervention. We excluded animal experiments, studies that lacked a control group, and those that did not report quantitative results. The mean difference(MD;before versus after intervention) was used to evaluate the effect of exercise on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents. Overall, 531 participants(60 children and 471 adolescents, 10.9–16.1 years) were included from 13 randomized controlled trials. Heterogeneity was evaluated using the Q statistic and I^(2) test provided by Review Manager software. The meta-analysis showed that there was no heterogeneity among the studies(P = 0.67,
