Objective:To conduct changes in sexual activity during pregnancy and its related factors in pregnant ***:The present descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 2017 on pregnant women who referred to the women's clinic of Afzalipour Hospital in the southeast of *** were included in the study through convenient *** data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire consisting of two parts of personal social information of the couple and questions to measure the level of sexual activity and the attitude of the subjects during pregnancy compared to before ***:201 Pregnant women were *** average age of pregnant women was(27.3±6.1)years and their average gestational age was(24.7±11.8)*** than 62%of women had decreased sexual *** was a significant relationship between the amount of changes in sexual activity and delivery time(P=0.013),abortion history(P=0.001)and premature birth history(P=0.002).Most pregnant women believed that sex during pregnancy caused damage to the fetus(67.7%).A decrease in the intensity of sexual desire was reported in 63%of pregnant *** than 60%of the subjects did not consult with doctors and midwives with regards to sexual issues(63.5%).The most common reason for not consulting was not feeling the need(32%).Most women experienced back pain during(42.8%)and after(39.8%)***:Changes in sex life during pregnancy are often caused by the lack of sexual knowledge and the increase in misconceptions among couples,which can affect the quality of *** role of education is ***,it is suggested that by including sexual counseling along with pregnancy care,wrong beliefs and information among women will be corrected.

The development of bio-sourced materials is essential to ensuring sustainable construction;it is considered a locomotive of the green ***,it is an abundant material in our country,to which very little attention is being *** work aims to valorize the waste of the trunks of banana trees to be used in ***,the physicochemical properties of the fiber,such as the percentage of crystallization and its morphology,have been determined by X-ray diffraction tests and scanning electron microscopy to confirm the potential and the impact of the mode of drying on the quality of the banana fibers,with the purpose to promote the use of this material in ***,the results obtained with the gypsum matrix allowed us to note a preponderant improvement in the composite’s thermal properties thanks to the variation of the banana fiber ***,the impact of the nature of the banana fiber distribution(either fiber mixed in matrix or fiber series model)on the flexural and compressive strengths of the composites was *** results obtained indicate that the insulation gain reaches up to 40%.It depends on the volume fraction and type of distribution of the banana ***,the thermal inertia of the composites developed,represented by thermal diffusivity and thermal effusivity,was *** indicate a gain of 40%and 25%,respectively,in terms of thermal diffusivity and thermal effusivity of the developed composites compared to plaster *** the mechanical properties,the flexural strength depends on the percentage of the volume fraction of banana fibers used,and it can reach 20%more than the flexural strength of plaster;nevertheless,there is a significant loss in terms of the compressive strength of the studied *** results obtained are confirmed by the microstructure of the fiber *** fact,the morphology of the banana fibers was improved by the drying *** reduces the amorphous area an

BACKGROUND Kidney transplant recipients(KTR)are at risk of severe coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)disease and mortality after severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(sARs-CoV-2)*** predicted that hospitalization for COVID-19 and subsequent admission to the intensive care unit(ICU)would yield worse outcomes in *** was stratified by ICU *** of interest included risk factors for ICU admission and mortality,length of stay(LOs),respiratory symptoms at admission,all-cause graft failure at the last follow-up,and death related to *** 96 KTRs were hospitalized for sARs-COV-2 infection.21(22%)required ICU *** ICU group had longer hospital LOs(21.8 vs 8.6 days,Ps 31%,Pse admitted to the ICU,76%had death at last-follow up,and 71%had death related to *** factors for ICU admission included male sex(aHR:3.11,95%CI:1.04-9.34;P=0.04).Risk factors for all-cause mortality and COVID-19-related mortality included ICU admission and advanced age at sARs-CoV-2 *** was highest within a month of COVID-19 diagnosis,with the ICU group having increased risk of all-cause(aHR:11.2,95%CI:5.11-24.5;PsION ICU admission conferred an increased risk of mortality,graft failure,and longer ***-fifth of those hospit-alized died of COVID-19,reflecting the impact of COVID-19-related morbidity and mortality among KTRs.

Production and Characterization of a Composite Based on Plaster and Juncus Maritimus Plant Fibers

Nowadays,materials with a limited impact on the environment are required in the construction *** the interesting properties of natural elements such as natural fibers,it seems advantageous to use them to reinforce materials while protecting the environment and guaranteeing economic *** these lines,this research was devoted to studying the effect of untreated natural fibers extracted from the Juncus maritimus plant(from southern Morocco)on ***,the effect of the percentage of added fibers on the fluidity of the plaster was evaluated by means of the Marsh’s cone method,that is,by measuring the time taken by a known volume of plaster to flow from a cone through a short ***,the highly porous microstructure of the plaster was observed using a scanning electron microscope(sEM).The diffractogram of Juncus maritimus fibers was built by means of a X-ray diffraction(XRD)*** values obtained for the wet thermal conductivity of the composites decreased from 0.4853 W/m.K for the reference specimen to 0.4324 W/m K for a fiber volume content of 40%.The densities were calculated to determine the lightness of each *** mechanical strengths[flexural and compressive]were evaluated for different percentages of rush *** addition of 20%volume fiber was found to improve the flexural strength to 3.63 MPa compared to the sample without fiber(3.36 MPa),thereby ensuring good toughness of the considered ***,a reduction in compressive strength was observed,due to the poor adhesion between the fibers and the plaster matrix.

Renal Vein Thrombosis suggestive of Extramembranous Glomerulonephritis Associated with sjögren’s syndrome (Case Report)

Introduction: Glomerular damage during Gougerot-sjgren syndrome is much rarer than interstitial damage, and is essentially extra-membranous and membrano-proliferative glomerulonephritis. Observation: We report the case of a 44-year-old woman with primary sjgrens syndrome, confirmed by clinical dryness syndrome, positive anti-ssA and anti-ssB antibodies, and a salivary gland biopsy revealing grade 4 lymphocytic sialadenitis according to CHIsHOLMs classification. Later, the patient developed nephrotic syndrome, along with hypertension. Renal function remained normal with a creatinine level of 9.3 mg/l, and hematuria was absent. Only antinuclear antibodies tested positive, while anti-PLA2R antibodies were negative. A renal biopsy was performed, which was complicated on the same day by hemodynamic instability with hematuria. Renal CT scan with contrast injection revealed a posterior perirenal hematoma without contrast extravasation. Additionally, bilateral renal vein thrombosis was incidentally discovered, suggesting extramembranous glomerulonephritis. The patients hemodynamic status stabilized after fluid resuscitation with isotonic saline solution (0.9%), without the need for blood transfusion. Renal biopsy confirmed extramembranous glomerulonephritis with interstitial fibrosis and minimal tubular atrophy. The initial etiological assessment was negative. The patient was started on oral corticosteroids, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, and therapeutic anticoagulation for renal vein thrombosis. The patients condition improved, with the disappearance of the syndrome and spontaneous regression of the hematoma. Discussion: The association of nephrotic syndrome and renal vein thrombosis primarily suggests glomerulopathy, in particular extra-membranous glomerulonephritis. sjgrens syndrome can be associated with extra-membranous glomerulonephritis without being its direct cause.
