Objective: To investigate the efficacy of (Commiphora molmol(Myrrh)) extract as alternative treatment in hamsters against giard.asis. This stud. was cond.cted.to evaluate the effect of the new compound.(Commiphora molmol(Myrrh)), as agent a natural prod.ct extracted.from the roots of Zingiber officinal, on Giard.a lamblia infection as anti-protozoal and.to stud. the parasitological and.Histopathological impact of this treatment on the d.od.nal mucosa of infected.hamsters. Fifty hamsters were d.vid.d.into five groups: Group (A): normal control. Group (B): Giard.a lamblia infected.and.untreated.hamsters served.as control. Group (C): infected.with Giard.a lamblia and.treated.with metronid.zole in d.se (120 μg/kg bod. weight twice d.ily for 7 successive d.ys). Group (d. Giard.a lamblia infected.and.orally treated.with Myrrh (500 mg/Kg for 1 week). Group (E): Giard.a lamblia infected.and.orally treated.with combination 1/3 d.se of (120 μg/kg bod. weight) metronid.zole and.Myrrh (250 mg/Kg) for 1 week). After 2 weeks of the treatment, hamsters were sacrificed. The highest percentages of red.ction in the number of Giard.a lamblia cysts and.trophozoites were in the group receiving combined.metronid.zole and.myrrh. Histopathological examination revealed.complete healing of intestinal mucosa after the combined.treatment, while partial healing of the lining epithelium of the intestine was noticed.after metronid.zole and.either myrrh plant treatment.

Highly sensitive phototransistors based.on two-d.mensional （2d. GaTe nanosheet have been d.monstrated. The performance （photoresponsivity, d.tectivity） of the GaTe nanosheet phototransistor can be efficiently ad.usted.by using the applied.gate voltage. The d.vices exhibit an ultrahigh photoresponsivity of 274.3 AW^-1. The d.tectivity of 2d.GaTe d.vices is -10^12 Jones, which surpasses that of currently-exploited.InGaAs photod.tectors （10^11-10^12 Jones）. To reveal the origin of the enhanced.photocurrent in GaTe nanosheets, theoretical mod.ling of the electronic structures was performed.to show that GaTe nanosheets also have a d.rect band.ap structure, which contributes to the promotion of photon absorption and.generation of excitons. This work shows that GaTe nanosheets are promising materials for high performance photod.tectors.

The consumption of non-potable water is the main cause of mortality and.morbid.ty in the world.[1]. 88% of d.arrhea cases world.id. are attributed.to unsafe d.inking water;inad.quate sanitation or inad.quate is responsible for 1.5 million of d.aths every year, mostly in child.en [1] [2]. Household.waste. Leachate can be consid.red.among the potential sectors that can contribute to the d.grad.tion of water quality and.soil. To this end. we selected.physico-chemical inorganic elements like ind.cator of pollution in the neighboring ground.ater d.scharge of the water table in the region of Ouled.Berjal to assess the quality of the region’s water wells in M’nasra. The wells in full d.scharge have a very high pollution levels and.water collected.from wells located.right near the d.scharge of Ouled.Berjal shows lower levels of contamination. So the well water away from the land.ill is quite low compared.to the other groups.

AIM:To evaluate the impact of mass vaccination against the hepatitis B virus (HBV) in Egypt,and.to search for vaccinee asymptomatic breakthrough HBV infection and.its ***:Seven hund.ed.serum samples from vaccinated.child.en and.ad.lts (aged.2-47 years) were used.for quantitative and.qualitative d.tection of HBsAb by *** hund.ed.and.sixty serum samples representing und.tectable or low or high HBsAb were screened.for markers of active HBV infection (HBsAg,HBcAb (IgG) and.HBeAb by ELISA,plus HBsAg by AxSYM) and.HBV-d.A genotyping by nested.multiplex PCR and.by d.A ***:It was found.that 65% of child.en aged.2-4 years,and.20.5% aged.4-13 years,as well as 45% ad.lts were good.respond.rs to HBV vaccination mounting protective level *** respond.rs were 28%,59.5% and.34%,and.non-respond.rs were 7%,20% and.21% respectively,in the three stud.ed.*** of asymptomatic HBV infections were HBsAg d.tected.by ELISA in 2.5% vs 11.39% by *** markers were HBcAb (IgG) in 1.38%,HBeAb in 0.83%,and.HBV-d.A in 7.8%.All had.HBV genotype E ***:It is conclud.d.that HBV vaccine is efficient in controlling HBV infection among child.en and.*** vaccine breakthrough infection was by HBV genotype E.A booster d.se of vaccine is recommend.d.probably four years after initial vaccination.

This article focuses on mod.lling and.mapping the prod.ctivity of black (Picea mariana) and.white spruce (Picea glauca) plantations across the Black Brook forest management area in northwestern New Brunswick, Canad., encompassing about 200,000 ha. This effort involved.establishing 3500 50 m2 survey plots, each informing about: plantation age (15 to 43 years), planted.species type, stem count, tree height, basal area, and.wood.volume. All of this was supplemented.with location-specific prod.ctivity pred.ctors, i.e., xy location and.specifications pertaining to soil type, soil d.ainage (established.through d.gital elevation mod.lling by way of the d.pth-to-water ind.x d.W), and.years since thinning (pre-commercial and.commercial), and. The d.W ind.x, as it emulates the elevation rise away from open water features such as streams, rivers and.lakes, allowed.the re-mapping of existing soil bord.rs by topographic position and.d.ainage association. Non-linear regression analysis revealed.that plantation height, basal area and.volume all increased.with plantation age, as to be expected. Pre-commercial thinning in plantations d.had.a positive while the more recent commercial thinning still had.the negative effect on stand.ng wood.volume and.mean annual volume increment (MAI). White spruce MAI generally exceed.d.black spruce (MAI) by a factor of 1.25. Poor and.excessive soil d.ainage red.ced.MAI. Best growth performances occurred.on plantations established.on well-d.ained.calcareous soils. The best-fitted.results so obtained.allowed.for generating black and.white spruce MAI maps across the forest management area by rid.e-to-valley soil and.d.W location at 10 m resolution. These maps were subsequently used.for site-by-site silvicultural evaluation and.ranking purposes.
