(AlTa(0.76))xCoCrFeNi(2.1)(x values in molar ratio,x=0.1,0.3,0.5,0.7,1.0,and 1.5) alloys were designed to investigate the microstructure and mechanical properties of the eutectic high entropy alloys(EHEAs)consisting of FCC,B2,and Laves *** on the compositional variatio,clear microstructural variation was observed,as follows:(1) Group 1:FCC dendrite+Laves interdendrite(x=0.1),(2) Group 2:FCC dendrite+fine-eutectic structure consisting of FCC and Laves phases(x=0.3,0.5 and 0.7),(3) Group 3:B2 dendrite+bimodal eutectic structure [FCC/B2+Laves](x=1.0),(4) Group 4:Laves dendrite+eutectic structure consisting of B2 and Laves phases(x=1.5).As the fraction of Laves or B2 phases increases,yield stress increases from 293 to 2336 MPa,while the plastic strain decreases from 50 % to 2%.Thermo-physical parameters,such as mixing entropy(△S(mix)),mixing enthalpy(△H(mix)),valence electron concentration(VEC),and atomic size difference(δr),were calculated to understand the microstructural *** criteria(δr-VEC and δr-△H(mix)) were utilized to elucidate the formation of the eutectic structures in the present EHEAs,revealing the usefulness of the thermo-physical parameters in the development of EHEAs.

In this study,we propose an effective strategy for achieving the flexible one organic transistor–one organic memristor(1T–1R)synapse using the multifunctional organic *** dynamics of the conductive nanofilament(CF)in a hydrophobic fluoropolymer medium is explored and a hydrophobic fluoropolymer-based organic memristor is *** flexible 1T–1R synapse can be fabricated using the solution process because the hydrophobic fluorinated polymer layer is produced on the organic transistor without degradation of the underlying *** developed flexible synapse exhibits multilevel conductance with high reliability and stability because of the fluoropolymer film,which acts as a medium for CF growth and an encapsulating layer for the organic ***,the synapse cell shows potential for high-density memory systems and practical neural *** effective concept for developing practical flexible neural networks would be a basic platform to realize the smart wearable electronics.

Ti45Cu40Ni7Zr5Sn2.5Si0.5alloys were prepared under various cooling rate conditions during *** alloys exhibited different volume fractions of B2 particles with 0～40 vol%in an amorphous *** bulk metallic glass of 1 mm diameter showed no macroscopic plasticity and exhibited the typical vein patterns in a maximum shear stress plane on the fracture ***,a bulk metallic glass composite containing the B2 particles revealed obvious plasticity(～5.6%)with a remarkable work-hardening behavior that resulted from a stress-induced martensitic transformation of the B2 ***,the composite displayed the complicated fracture morphologies containing of three types of fracture *** detailed investigations on the microstructural evolution,mechanical,deformation and fracture characteristics,the influence of B2 particle on overall behavior of the TiCu-based bulk metallic glass composites was elucidated.

Human periodontal ligament stem cells are easily accessible and can differentiate into Schwann cells. We hypothesized that human periodontal ligament stem cells can be used as an alternative source for the autologous Schwann cells in promoting the regeneration of injured peripheral nerve. To validate this hypothesis, human periodontal ligament stem cells （1 × 106） were injected into the crush-injured left mental nerve in rats. Simultaneously, autologous Schwann cells （1 × 106） and PBS were also injected as controls. Real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction showed that at 5 days after injection, mRNA expression of low affinity nerve growth factor receptor was sig-nificantaly increased in the left trigeminal ganglion of rats with mental nerve injury. Sensory tests, histomorphometric evaluation and retrograde labeling demonstrated that at 2 and 4 weeks after in-jection, sensory function was significantly improved, the numbers of retrograde labeled sensory neurons and myelinated axons were significantly increased, and human periodontal ligament stem cells and autologous Schwann cells exhibited similar therapeutic effects. These findings suggest that transplantation of human periodontal ligament stem cells show a potential value in repair of mental nerve injury.

BACKGROUND Noninvasive ventilation(NIV)reduces intubation rates,mortalities,and lengths of hospital and intensive care unit stays in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Helmet-based NIV is better tolerated than oronasal mask-based ventilation,and thus,allows NIV to be conducted for prolonged periods at higher pressures with minimal air *** SUMMARY A 73-year-old man with a previous diagnosis of COPD stage 4 was admitted to our medical intensive care unit with chief complaints of cough,sputum,and dyspnea of several days’*** 10 mo,he had been on oxygen at home by day and had used an oronasal mask-based NIV at *** intensive care unit admission,he breathed using respiratory accessory *** and signs of infection were detected,and infiltration was observed in the right lower lung field by chest ***,we diagnosed AECOPD by communityacquired *** admission,respiratory distress steadily deteriorated and invasive mechanical ventilation became ***,the patient refused this option,and thus,we selected helmet-based NIV as a salvage *** 3 d of helmet-based NIV,his consciousness level and hypercapnia recovered to his pre-hospitalization *** Helmet-based NIV could be considered as a salvage treatment when AECOPD patients refuse invasive mechanical ventilation and oronasal mask-based NIV is ineffective.

In the IoT(Internet of Things)domain,the increased use of encryption protocols such as SSL/TLS,VPN(Virtual Private Network),and Tor has led to a rise in attacks leveraging encrypted *** research on anomaly detection using AI(Artificial Intelligence)is actively progressing,the encrypted nature of the data poses challenges for labeling,resulting in data imbalance and biased feature extraction toward specific *** study proposes a reconstruction error-based anomaly detection method using an autoencoder(AE)that utilizes packet metadata excluding specific node *** proposed method omits biased packet metadata such as IP and Port and trains the detection model using only normal data,leveraging a small amount of packet *** makes it well-suited for direct application in IoT environments due to its low resource *** experiments comparing feature extraction methods for AE-based anomaly detection,we found that using flowbased features significantly improves accuracy,precision,F1 score,and AUC(Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic Curve)score compared to packet-based ***,for flow-based features,the proposed method showed a 30.17%increase in F1 score and improved false positive rates compared to Isolation Forest and ***,the proposedmethod demonstrated a 32.43%higherAUCwhen using packet features and a 111.39%higher AUC when using flow features,compared to previously proposed oversampling *** study highlights the impact of feature extraction methods on attack detection in imbalanced,encrypted traffic environments and emphasizes that the one-class method using AE is more effective for attack detection and reducing false positives compared to traditional oversampling methods.

We construct holographic Janus solutions,which describe a conformal interface in the theory of M2-branes,in four-dimensional gauged supergravities using a perturbative *** particular,we study three Einsteinscalar systems and their BPS equations,which are derived by Bobev,Pilch,and Warner(2014).The actions of our interest are all consistent truncations of D=11 supergravity,chosen to be invariant under SO(4)×SO(4),SU(3)×U(1)×U(1),and G2 symmetry subgroups of SO(8).The utility of our semi-analytic result is illustrated by the calculation of minimal area surface and the associated holographic entanglement entropy.

Background:Effective antibiotic alternatives are urgently needed in the poultry industry to control disease *** therapy mainly utilizes lytic phages to kill their respective bacterial hosts and can be an attractive solution to combating the emergence of antibiotic resistance in ***:Five hundred and four,one-day-old broilers(Ross 308)were allotted to 1 of 4 treatment groups in a completely randomized *** consisted of CON(basal diet),PC(CON+0.025%Avilamax®),BP 0.05(CON+0.05%bacteriophage),and BP 0.10(CON+0.10%bacteriophage).Results:A significant linear effect on body weight gain(BWG)was observed during days 1–7,days 22–35,and cumulatively in bacteriophage(BP)supplemented *** BWG tended to be higher(P=0.08)and the feed intake(FI)was increased(P=0.017)in the PC group over CON group.A greater(P=0.016)BWG and trends in increased FI(P=0.06)were observed in the experiment in birds fed PC than CON *** the genus level,the relative abundance of Lactobacillus was decreased in PC(65.28%),while it was similar in BP 0.05 and BP 0.10(90.65%,86.72%)compared to CON(90.19%).At the species level,the relative abundance of Lactobacillus salivarus was higher in BP 0.05(40.15%)and BP 0.10(38.58%)compared to the CON(20.04%)and PC(18.05%).A linear reduction in the weight of bursa of Fabricius(P=0.022)and spleen(P=0.052)was observed in birds fed graded level of BP and an increase(P=0.059)in the weight of gizzard was observed in birds fed PC over BP *** and quadratic responses were observed in redness of breast muscle color in birds fed graded level of ***:The inclusion of the 0.05%and 0.1%BP cocktail linearly improved broiler weight during the first 7 days,22–35 days and cumulatively,whereas 0.05%BP addition was sufficient for supporting immune organs,bursa and spleen as well as enhancing gut microbiome,indicating the efficacy of 0.05%BP as a substitute antibiotic growth promoter in broiler diets.

The motion responses of ships carrying liquid cargo are affected not only by external wave excitation, but also by internal sloshing-induced forces and moments. Sloshing flow is coupled with the ship motion. This means the added resistance in waves may change when sloshing occurs inside the tank of the ship. In this study, the motion responses and added resistance of a ship, coupled with the sloshing-induced internal forces and moments are considered by using the linear potential theory. The three-dimensional Rankine panel method, in which the physical quantities are represented by using B-spline basis function, is applied. The sloshing flow of inner tanks is also simulated by Using the Rankine panel method and linearized boundary value problem. To study the added resistance, a near-field method, which integrates the second-order pressure on a body surface, is applied. The model ship is a blunt modified Wigley model with two inner tanks. Numerical results obtained without inner tanks are compared with the experimental data, and then the effect of filling ratio of inner tanks on ship motion and added resistance are observed. The components that induce added resistance are examined, and the effects of surge motion on sloshing flow and added resistance are briefly considered. This study shows that the sloshing flow inside the inner tanks may significantly influence not only the motion responses, but also added resistance, especially, when the incident wave frequency approaches the resonance frequency of the sloshing flow.
