Pancreatic pseudocysts,which account for 70%-90% of pancreatic cystic lesions,cha.acteristically are non-epithelially lined cystic cavities that are contiguous with the pancreas. Pancreatic pseudocysts can be caused by acute,chronic or traumatic pancreatitis and should be differentiated from other pancreatic diseases with cystic appearances,especially cystic neoplasms. We report a unique case of a pancreatic pseudocyst filled with semisolid lipids,which appeared by endoscopic ultrasound as a solid mass,and was therefore resected.

选取2022年WDSF世界体育舞蹈锦标赛中排名前三的国外选手和排名靠前的两名国内选手作为研究对象,基于WDSF3.0评分体系,对中外优秀拉丁舞选手恰恰舞双人配合技术进行对比分析。研究发现,中外选手在身体交流、持握技术、空间使用和稳定一致性等方面存在差异,提出应加强我国选手对拉丁舞文化的认知、重视选手体能方面的训练、保证选手舞伴间的磨合时间、改善对拉丁舞选手的训练方法等建议。

Although signifi cant research eff orts have been targeted toward conservation and management of endangered terrestrial fl ora and fauna,attempts have been limited to conserve threatened *** siliquosa is an ecologically and commercially vital brown alga that is uniquely distributed in the Yellow-Bohai Sea and along the southwest coast of Korea.A massive decline in its distribution range and biomass from the mid-1990s onward indicates that this species has become *** the present study,we used nuclear internal transcribed spacer and concatenated mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase I subunit+intergenic spacer to estimate the genetic diversity,population connectivity,and degree of genetic diff erentiation of *** in China and *** molecular results exhibited strikingly low levels of haplotype/ribotype and nucleotide diversity in *** populations,with only three mitochondrial haplotypes and nuclear ribotypes detected in 136 and 143 specimens,*** analysis of molecular variance revealed 85%-95%of genetic variance among *** diff erentiation coeffi cient(F_(ST))and gene fl ow(N_(m))suggested that two populations(JIN and GWA)along the southern coast of Korea are highly divergent from the others,with weak genetic *** signifi cant genetic diff erentiation was observed among populations either in China or along the geographically proximate west coast of ***,four independent management units were designated for sustainable management:the LII and RUS populations in China,the YEO and cha.populations along the west coast of Korea,and each of the GWA and JIN populations along the south coast of *** suggest that artifi cial cultivation and transplantation of *** are the eff ective approaches for restoration and conservation.

Objective: The objective of the study was to identify facilitators and barriers to emergency medical service use among acute ischemic stroke patients in ***: This paper presents a secondary analysis of a retrospective survey that collected data from questionnaires and medical *** 233 acute ischemic stroke patients enrolled in a large-scale study,160 patients who had arrived at a hospital within 72 h after symptom onset were included in the data ***: Users of emergency medical services needed a shorter time than non-users to arrive at hospital (140 min vs.625 min.,p =0.001) and were more likely to arrive at hospital within 3 h of symptom onset (51.9% vs.31.5%,p =0.013).For those who first contacted emergency medical service,the facilitators of emergency medical service use were the presence of hemiparesis (p =0.003),bilateral paralysis (p =0.040),and loss of balance (p =0.021).The predominant barrier was the failure to recognize the urgency of symptoms (p 0.006).Conclusions: The use of emergency medical services reduced prehospital delay and increased the likelihood of patient arrival at hospital within 3 *** that experiencing typical stroke symptoms was a facilitator of emergency medical service use yet failure to recognize the urgency of symptoms was a barrier,public awareness should be raised as regards stroke symptoms and the benefits of using emergency medical services.

DNA Transfer from Wild Millet to Common Wheat by Asymmetric Somatic Hybridization

Following differing periods of long-term subculture and selection, two types of calli of the same wheat ( Triticum aestivum L. cv. Jinan 177) were obtained. The one (named cha.9) grew fast and easily formed cell suspensions that were non-regenerable, but the protoplasts possessed a high division capacity. The other (named 176) was regenerable, but the derived protoplasts grew slowly. Fusion combination between either cha.9 or 176 protoplasts and UV-treated wild millet (SetaHa italica L. Beaur.) protoplasts failed to produce regenerated green plants. However, when the two types of wheat protoplasts were mixed together as recipient and fused with wild millet, green plants were obtained. The hybrid nature of regener-ated calli and plants was confirmed by the analysis of cytological, isozyme, 5S rDNA spacer sequences and random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD). The chloroplast genomes of hybrids were analyzed with several wheat-specific chloroplast microsatellite (simple sequence repeat, SSR) primers. A hybrid clone carrying recipient DNA of cha.9 and 176, as well as both nuclear and chloroplast donor DNA had a high regeneration capacity and produced more vigorous green plants than did the other clones.

Indole-3-acetic acid （IAA）, a major plant auxin, is produced in both tryptophan-dependent and tryptophan-independent pathways. A major pathway in Arabidopsis thaliana generates IAA in two reactions from tryptophan. Step one converts tryptophan to indole-3-pyruvic acid （IPA） by tryptophan aminotransferases followed by a rate-limiting step converting IPA to IAA catalyzed by YUCCA proteins. We identified eight putative StYUC （Solanum tuberosum YUCCA） genes whose deduced amino acid sequences share 50%-70% identity with those of Arabidopsis YUCCA proteins. All include canonical, conserved YUCCA sequences： FATGY motif, FMO signature sequence, and FAD-binding and NADP-binding sequences. In addition, five genes were found with -50% amino acid sequence identity to Arabidopsis trypto-phan aminotransferases. Transgenic potato （Solanum tuberosum cv. Jowon） constitutively overexpressing Arabidopsis AtYUC6 displayed high-auxin phenotypes such as narrow downward-curled leaves, increased height, erect stature, and longevity. Transgenic potato plants overexpressing AtYUC6 showed enhanced drought tolerance based on reduced water loss. The phenotype was correlated with reduced levels of reactive oxygen species in leaves. The results suggest a func-tional YUCCA pathway of auxin biosynthesis in potato that may be exploited to alter plant responses to the environment.

BACKGROUND Transcatheter arterial embolization(TAE)has been widely used as an effective and a safe treatment method and was often used as an alternative to the surgical management,but there are limited studies on the efficacy and the safety for patients undergoing their secondary postpartum hemorrhage(PPH).AIM To evaluate the usefulness of TAE for secondary PPH focusing on the angiographic *** We conducted a research from January 2008 to July 2022 on all 83 patients(mean:32 years,range:24-43 years)presented with secondary PPH and they were treated with TAE in two university *** medical records and angiography were retrospective reviewed in order to evaluate the patients’cha.acteristics,delivery details,clinical status and peri-embolization management,angiography and embolization details,technical/clinical success and *** group with active bleeding sign and the group without it were also compared and *** On angiography,46(55.4%)patients showed active bleeding signs such as contrast extravasation(n=37)or pseudoaneurysm(n=8)or both(n=1),and 37(44.6%)patients showed non-active bleeding signs such as only spastic uterine artery(n=2)or hyperemia(n=35).In the active bleeding sign group there were more multiparous patients,low platelet count,prothrombin time prolongation,and high transfusion *** technical success rates were 97.8%(45/46)in active bleeding sign group and 91.9%(34/37)in non-active bleeding sign group,and the overall clinical success rates were 95.7%(44/46)and 97.3%(36/37).An uterine rupture with peritonitis and abscess formation occurred to one patient after the embolization,therefore hysterostomy and retained placenta removal were performed which was a major *** TAE is an effective and a safe treatment method for controlling secondary PPH regardless of angiographic findings.

Synergistic effect between cryptotanshinone and antibiotics in oral pathogenic bacteria

Cryptotanshinone (CT), a major tanshinone of medicinal plant Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge, demonstrated effective in vitro antibacterial activity against all oral bacteria tested in this experiment. The antibacterial activities of CT against oral bacteria were assessed using the checkerboard and time-kill methods to evaluate the synergistic effects of treatment with ampicillin or gentamicin. The CT was determined against oral pathogenic bacteria with MIC and MBC values ranging from 0.5 to 16 and 1 to 64 μg/mL;for am- picillin from 0.0313 to 16 and 0.125 to 32 μg/mL;for gentamicin from 2 to 256 and 4 to 512 μg/mL respectively. The range of MIC50 and MIC90 were 0.0625 - 8 μg/mL and 1 - 64 μg/mL, respectively. The combination effects of CT with antibiotics were synergistic (FIC index ministered alone or with ampicillin or gentamicin. The results suggest that CT could be employed as a natural antibacterial agent against cariogenic and periodontopathogenic bac- teria.

These results would be considered in the development of the SWNT-based gas sensors.
