Rock mass damage at great depths near underground openings is often of a zonal ***,the classical elastoplastic theory fails to explain sufficiently all properties of zonal failure structures.A new non-Euclidean mathematical model for highly-stressed rock mass was developed based on the principles of mechanics of defected material and non-equilibrium *** were developed to determine model parameters that provide satisfactory correspondence between the experimental findings concerning faulted zonal structures near openings at great depths and mathematical *** mechanism of this phenomenon was discovered which consisted in a periodical character of stresses in the surrounding rock mass and development of tensile macrocracks at zones of maximal tangential *** relationships between the cracking zone width and rock mass strength were established.

Inflammation manipulation and extracellular matrix(ECM)remodeling for healthy tissue regeneration are critical requirements for tissue engineering *** this end,the bioactive polycaprolactone(PCL)-based scaffolds are fabricated to release aprotinin and thymosinβ4(Tβ4)in a programmable *** core part of the fiber is composed of hyaluronic acid and Tβ4,and the shell is PCL,which is further coated with heparin/gelatin/aprotinin to enhance *** in vitro assay demonstrates that the controlled release of aprotinin prevents initial excessive *** subsequent release of Tβ4 after 3 days induces the transition of macrophages from M1 into M2 *** manipulation of inflammatory response further controls the expression of transforming growth factor-βand fibroblast activation,which oversee the quantity and quality of ECM *** addition,the gradual degradation of the scaffold allows cells to proliferate within the *** vivo implant evaluation convinces that PCL-based scaffolds possess the high capability to control the inflammatory response and restore the ECM to normal ***,our work paves a new way to develop tissue engineering scaffolds for inflammation manipulation and ECM remodeling with peptide-mediated reactions.

Ferroelectric tunnel junctions combine the phenomena of quantum-mechanical tunnelling and switchable spontaneous polarisation of a nanometre-thick ferroelectric film into novel device *** the ferroelectric barrier polarisation direction produces a sizable change in resistance of the junction—a phenomenon known as the tunnelling electroresistance *** a fundamental perspective,ferroelectric tunnel junctions and their version with ferromagnetic electrodes,i.e.,multiferroic tunnel junctions,are testbeds for studying the underlying mechanisms of tunnelling electroresistance as well as the interplay between electric and magnetic degrees of freedom and their effect on *** a practical perspective,ferroelectric tunnel junctions hold promise for disruptive device *** a very short time,they have traversed the path from basic model predictions to prototypes for novel non-volatile ferroelectric random access memories with non-destructive *** remarkable progress is to a large extent driven by a productive cycle of predictive modelling and innovative experimental *** this review article,we outline the development of the ferroelectric tunnel junction concept and the role of theoretical modelling in guiding experimental *** discuss a wide range of physical phenomena that control the functional properties of ferroelectric tunnel junctions and summarise the state-of-the-art achievements in the field.

Backgrounds Common variable immunodeficiency(CVID),the most prevalent form of primary immunodeficiency(PID),is characterized by hypogammaglobulinemia and recurrent *** protein-protein interaction(PPI)networks of CVID genes and identifying candidate CVID genes are critical steps in facilitating the early diagnosis of ***,the aim was to investigate PPI networks of CVID genes and identify candidate CVID genes using computation ***:Network density and biological distance were used to study PPI data for CVID and PID genes obtained from the STRING *** expression data of patients with CVID were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus,and then Pearson's correlation coefficient,a PPI database,and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes were used to identify candidate CVID *** then evaluated our predictions and identified differentially expressed CVID ***:The majority of CVID genes are characterized by a high network density and small biological distance,whereas most PID genes are characterized by a low network density and large biological distance,indicating that CVID genes are more functionally similar to each other and closely interact with one other compared with PID ***,we identified 172 CVID candidate genes that have similar biological functions to known CVID genes,and eight genes were recently reported as CVID-related ***,a candidate gene,was down-regulated in CVID duodenal biopsies,but up-regulated in blood samples compared with levels in healthy ***:Our findings will aid in a better understanding of the complex of CVID genes,possibly further facilitating the early diagnosis of CVID.

Oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)has been disclosed in recent studies as a significant secondary cathodic process during magnesium *** work elaborates on the contribution of ORR to the total corrosion process of pure Mg at different impurity levels in NaCl electrolyte with the assistance of local techniques.A finite element based numerical model taking into account the contribution of ORR during the corrosion of the Mg test materials has been designed in this study considering the local oxygen *** computational simulations were calibrated based on the experimental data and evaluated ***,the simultaneous monitoring of local concentration of H_(2) and O_(2),and the combined modeling study reveal the relation between ORR and hydrogen evolution reaction.

Production prediction is crucial for the recovery of hydrocarbon ***,accurate and rapid production forecasting remains challenging for unconventional reservoirs due to the complexity of the percolation process and the scarcity of available *** address this problem,a novel model combining a long short-term memory network(LSTM)and support vector regression(SVR)was proposed to forecast tight oil *** variables,the tubing head pressure,nozzle size,and water rate were utilized as the inputs of the presented machine-learning workflow to account for the influence of operational *** time-series response of tight oil production was the output and was predicted by the optimized LSTM *** SVR-based residual correction model was constructed and embedded with LSTM to increase the prediction *** studies were carried out to verify the feasibility of the proposed method using data from two wells in the Ma-18 block of the Xinjiang *** curve analysis(DCA)methods,LSTM and artificial neural network(ANN)models were also applied in this study and compared with the LSTM-SVR model to prove its *** was demonstrated that introducing residual correction with the newly proposed LSTM-SVR model can effectively improve prediction *** LSTM-SVR model of Well A produced the lowest prediction root mean square error(RMSE)of 5.42,while the RMSE of Arps,PLE Duong,ANN,and LSTM were 5.84,6.65,5.85,8.16,and 7.70,*** RMSE of Well B of LSTM-SVR model is 0.94,while the RMSE of ANN,and LSTM were 1.48,and 2.32.
