Real-time automata(RTAs) are a subclass of timed automata with only one clock which resets at each transition. In this paper, we present an active learning algorithm for deterministic real-time automata(DRTAs) in both continuous-time semantics and discrete-time semantics. For a target language recognized by a DRTA A, we convert the problem of learning DRTA A to the problem of learning a canonical real-time automaton A with the same recognized language, i.e., L(A) = L(A). The algorithm is inspired by existing learning algorithms for symbolic automata.

High-performance microwave-absorbing materials(MAMs)should meet both impedance matching and attenuation ***,it is hard to maintain excellent microwave absorption(MA)per-formance at an elevated temperature because the reliance on impedance matching and dielectric loss about temperature mutually *** this work,the pomegranate-like antimony-doped tin dioxide(ATO)/silica dioxide(SiO_(2))spheres were fabricated via a simple spray drying *** the spheres were used as functional units and dispersed in the matrix,the corresponding composites exhibit an out-standing anti-reflection effect on ***,the unique pomegranate-like structure of the ATO/SiO_(2)spheres provides both the effective local eddy current and abundant heterogeneous interface,which therefore contribute harvest enhanced dielectric relaxation and improved absorption performance when compared with that of the corresponding ATO/SiO_(2)*** a result,the maximum re-flection loss of the ATO/SiO_(2)spheres composites can reach-47.8 dB at 9.7 GHz with a thickness of 1.8 mm,while the reflection loss could reach-47.3 dB at 573 K and the effective absorption bandwidth is 2.4 *** work reveals the importance of local eddy current loss in optimizing the electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption performance and impedance matching,providing novel guidance on designing advanced high-temperature MAMs.

Recovery of scandium from titanium white waste acid is an essential source of *** and economical production of high purity scandium remains a challenge.A new extractant,N,N,N’,N’-tetracyclohexyl-diglycolamide(TCHDGA),was synthesized,and the separation performance of scandium from impurity metal ions(Ti,Mn,Ba,Fe,Al and Mg)was investigated,The effects of mixing time,acid concentration and temperature on the scandium extraction were *** extraction mechanism was studied by infrared spectroscopy and the Equimole Series *** optimized conditions,the extractant shows a strong affinity to scandium in the nitric acid medium and high extraction separation factors between scandium and these impurity metal ions,A process for the purification of scandium was *** crude product obtained from titanium white waste acid,95%purity scandium oxide,can be purified to 99.99%after only one step of extraction,scrubbing,and stripping:This technology is economical and straightforward and can realize the high-value recovery of scandium in the titanium white waste acid.

Software-defined networking(SDN) is a revolutionary technology that facilitates network management and enables programmatically efficient network configuration, thereby improving network performance and flexibility. However, as the application programming interfaces(APIs) of SDN are low-level or functionality-restricted, SDN programmers cannot easily keep pace with the ever-changing devices, topologies, and demands of SDN. By deriving motivation from industry practice, we define a novel network algorithm programming language(NAPL) that enhances the SDN framework with a rapid programming flow from topology-based network models to C++ implementations, thus bridging the gap between the limited capability of existing SDN APIs and the reality of practical network management. In contrast to several state-of-the-art languages, NAPL provides a range of critical high-level network programming features:(1) topology-based network modeling and visualization;(2) fast abstraction and expansion of network devices and constraints;(3) a declarative paradigm for the fast design of forwarding policies;(4) a built-in library for complex algorithm implementation;(5) full compatibility with C++ programming; and(6) userfriendly debugging support when compiling NAPL into highly readable C++ codes. The expressiveness and performance of NAPL are demonstrated in various industrial scenarios originating from practical network management.

Root-associated(rhizosphere and endosphere) microbiomes of the Miscanthus sinensis and their response to the heavy metal contamination

The plant root-associated microbiomes, including both the rhizosphere and the root endosphere microbial community, are considered as a critical extension of the plant genome. Comparing to the well-studied rhizosphere microbiome, the understanding of the root endophytic microbiome is still in its infancy. Miscanthus sinensis is a pioneering plant that could thrive on metal contaminated lands and holds the potential for phytoremediation applications. Characterizing its root-associated microbiome, especially the root endophytic microbiome, could provide pivotal knowledge for phytoremediation of mine tailings. In the current study, M. sinensis residing in two Pb/Zn tailings and one uncontaminated site were collected. The results demonstrated that the metal contaminant fractions exposed strong impacts on the microbial community structures. Their influences on the microbial community, however, gradually decreases from the bulk soil through the rhizosphere soil and finally to the endosphere, which resulting in distinct root endophytic microbial community structures compared to both the bulk and rhizosphere soil. Diverse members affiliated with the order Rhizobiales was identified as the core microbiome residing in the root of M. sinensis. In addition, enrichment of plant-growth promoting functions within the root endosphere were predicted, suggesting the root endophytes may provide critical services to the host plant. The current study provides new insights into taxonomy and potential functions of the root-associated microbiomes of the pioneer plant, M. sinensis, which may facilitate future phytoremediation practices.
